Gastric cancer is generally diagnosed at an advanced stage,especially in countries without screening ***,the metastatic stage was synonymous with palliative management,and surgical indications were only for symptomatic ***,this therapeutic option is associated with poor prognosis.A subgroup of patients with limited metastatic disease could benefit from intensive treatment.A combination of chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and targeted therapy could help either maintain a resectable state for oligometastatic disease or diminish the metastasis size to obtain a complete resection *** latter strategy is known as conversion therapy and has growing evidence with favorable *** approach of metastatic disease could prolong survival in selected *** challenge for the surgeon and oncologist is to identify these specific patients to offer the best multimodal *** review in this article the actual evidence for the treatment of oligometastatic gastric cancer with curative intent.

AIm： To analyze the impact of the GNAS1 T393C polymorphism on prognosis and histopathology of gastric cancer. mETHODS： Genomic DNA was extracted from paraffinembedded tissues of 122 patients with primary gastric carcinoma and from the blood of 820 healthy white individuals. Allelic discrimination was performed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Genotyping was correlated with histopathologic parameters and with overall survival according to the Kaplan-meier approach and with multivariate analysis by multiple stepwise regression. RESULTS： Thirty-nine （32%） patients displayed a CC genotype, 57 （46.7%） a CT genotype and 26 （21.3%） a TT genotype. The frequency of the C allele （fC） in the patient group was 0.55, which was not significantly different from that of healthy blood donors. The distribution was compatible with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. Analysis of clinicopathological parameters did not show any significant correlation of the T393C genotype with gender （P = 0.50）, differentiation （P = 0.29）, pT-category （P = 0.19）, pN-category （P = 0.30）, pm-category （P = 0.25）, R-category （P = 0.95）, the classifications according to WHO （P = 0.34）, Lauren （P = 0.16）, Goseki （P = 1.00） and ming （P =0.74）. Dichotomization between C＋（CC＋CT） and C-genotypes （FI）, however, revealed significantly more advanced tumor stages （P = 0.023） and lower survival rates （P = 0.043） for C allele carriers. CONCLUSION： The present study provides strong evidence to suggest that the GNAS1 T393C allele carrier status influences tumor progression and survival in gastric cancer with higher tumor stages and a worse outcome for C allele carriers.

This study proposes an approach of leveraging information gathered from multiple traffic data sources at different resolutions to obtain approximate inference on the traffic distribution of Chicago's O'Hare Airport ***,it proposes the ingestion of traffic datasets at different resolutions to build spatiotemporal models for predicting the distribution of traffic volume on the road *** to its good adaptability and flexibility for spatiotemporal data,the Gaussian process(GP)regression was employed to provide short-term forecasts using data collected by loop detectors(sensors)and supplemented by telematics *** GP regression is used to make predictions of the distribution of the proportion of sensor data traffic volume represented by the telematics data for each location of the ***,the fitted GP model can be used to determine the approximate traffic distribution for a testing location outside of the training *** in the transportation sector can find the results of this work helpful for making informed decisions relating to current and future transportation conditions in the area.

The battery thermal management of electric vehicles can be improved using neural networks predicting quantile sequences of the battery *** work extends a method for the development of Quantile Convolutional and Quantile Recurrent Neural Networks(namely Q*NN).Fleet data of 225629 drives are clustered and balanced,simulation data from 971 simulations are augmented before they are combined for training and *** Q*NN hyperparameters are optimized using an efficient Bayesian optimization,before the Q*NN models are compared with regression and quantile regression models for four *** analysis of point-forecast and quantile-related metrics shows the superior performance of the novel Q*NN *** median predictions of the best performing model achieve an average RmSE of 0.66°C and R^(2) of *** predicted 0.99 quantile covers 98.87%of the true values in the test *** conclusion,this work proposes an extended development and comparison of Q*NN models for accurate battery temperature prediction.

Chemical looping combustion has the potential to be an efficient and low-cost technology capable of contributing to the reduction of the atmospheric concentration of CO_(2) in order to reach the 1.5/2°C goal and mitigate climate *** this process,a metal oxide is used as oxygen carrier in a dual fluidized bed to generate clean CO_(2) via combustion of *** commonly,natural ores or synthetic materials are used as oxygen carrier whereas both must meet special requirements for the conversion of solid *** oxygen carriers are characterized by higher reactivity at the expense of higher costs versus the lower-cost natural *** determine the viability of both possibilities,a techno-economic comparison of a synthetic material based on manganese,iron,and copper to the natural ore ilmenite was *** synthetic oxygen carrier was characterized and tested in a pilot plant,where high combustion efficiencies up to 98.4%and carbon capture rates up to 98.5%were *** techno-economic assessment resulted in CO_(2) capture costs of 75 and 40€/tCO_(2) for the synthetic and natural ore route respectively,whereas a sensitivity analysis showed the high impact of production costs and attrition rates of the synthetic *** synthetic oxygen carrier could break even with the natural ore in case of lower production costs and attrition rates,which could be reached by adapting the production process and recycling *** comparison to state-of-the-art technologies,it is demonstrated that both routes are viable and the capture cost of CO_(2) could be reduced by implementing the chemical looping combustion technology.
