Hot compression was conducted at a Thermecmaster-Z simulator, at deformation temperatures of 800-1040℃, with strain rates of 0.001-50 s-1 and height reduction of 50%. Grain size of the prior α phase was measured with a Leica LABOR-LUX12MFS/ST microscope to which QUANTIMET 500 software for image analysis for quantitative metallography was linked. According to the present experimental data, a constitutive relationship for a TC6 alloy and a model for grain size of the prior a phase were established based on the Arrhenius' equation and the Yada's equation, respectively. By finite element (FE) simulation, deformation distribution was determined for isothermal forging of a TC6 aerofoil blade at temperatures of 860-940℃ and hammer velocities of 9-3.00.0 mm/min. Meanwhile, the grain size of the prior α phase is simulated during isothermal forging of the TC6 aerofoil blade, by combining FE outputs with the present grain size model. The present results illustrate the grain size and its distribution in the prior α phase during the isothermal forging of the TC6 aerofoil blade. The simulated results show that the height reduction, deformation temperature, and hammer velocity have significant effects on distribution of the equivalent strain and the grain size of the prior α phase.

It is well known that femtosecond laser pulses can easily spontaneously induce deep-subwavelength periodic surface structures on transparent dielectrics but not on non-transparent ***,in this study,we demonstrate that using high-numerical-aperture 800 nm femtosecond laser direct writing with controlled pulse energy and scanning speed in the near-damage-threshold regime,polarization-dependent deep-subwavelength single grooves with linewidths of~180 nm can be controllably prepared on ***,the single-groove linewidth increases slightly with increase in the pulse energy and decrease in the scanning speed,whereas the single-groove depth significantly increases from~3.0 nm to~600 nm with decrease in the scanning speed,or even to over 1μm with multi-processing,indicating the characteristics of transverse clamping and longitudinal growth of such deep-subwavelength single *** dispersive spectroscopy composition analysis of the near-groove region confirms that single-groove formation tends to be an ultrafast,non-thermal ablation process,and the oxidized deposits near the grooves are easy to clean ***,the results,showing both the strong dependence of groove orientation on laser polarization and the occurrence of double-groove structures due to the interference of pre-formed orthogonal grooves,indicate that the extraordinary field enhancement of strong polarization sensitivity in the deep-subwavelength groove plays an important role in single-groove growth with high stability and collimation.

The elimination of neonicotinoids(NEOs)from water has been a research priority due to their threats to human health and *** this study,we established the heterogeneous peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation system using manganese catalyst(Mn NC)and cobalt catalyst(Co NC)to trigger the nonradical oxidation and synergistic oxidation pathway,respectively to remove *** results showed that the nonradical oxidation system exhibited superior NEOs degradation *** composition of organic pollutants in wastewater significantly impacted subsequent degradation *** charge distribution and reaction sites of various NEOs were analyzed using density functional theory(DFT)calculations,and it demonstrated the electron distribution and activity of NEOs were significantly influenced by the type and number of *** group(–NO_(2))and cyanide group(–C≡N)were identified as strong electron-withdrawing groups and prone to be attacked by negatively charged *** transformation of NEOs was analyzed,and result showed that the C and N sites adjacent to the nitro group and cyanide group were more susceptible to oxidation attacks.S and N atoms,which possess strong electronegativity and high electron cloud density,were identified as key active sites in the degradation *** outcomes of this study provide valuable guidance for the oriented regulation of oxidation pathways towards efficient removal of NEOs in water.

Straw return can be used to reduce fertilizer input and improve agricultural sustainability and soil ***,how straw return and reduced fertilizer application affect beneficial soil microbes,particularly arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF),remains poorly ***,we conducted a five-year field experiment in a rainfed maize field on the Loess Plateau of northwestern *** tested four treatments with straw return combined with four nitrogen(N)application rates,i.e.,100%,80%,60%,and 0%of the common N application rate(225 kg N ha^(-1)year^(-1))in this region,and two reference treatments(full or no N application),with three replicates for each *** colonization was quantified and AMF communities colonizing maize roots were characterized using Illumina *** virtual taxa(VTs)of AMF were identified in root samples,among which VT113.related to Rhizophagus fasciculatus)and VT156(related to Dominikia gansuensis)were the predominant *** root length colonization and AMF VT richness were sensitive to N fertilization,but not to straw return;furthermore,both gradually increased with decreasing N application *** VT composition of the AMF community was also affected by N fertilization,but not by straw return,and the community variation could be well explained by soil available N and phosphorus ***,60%,80%,and full N fertilization produced similar maize ***,our study revealed the response patterns of AMF to straw return and N fertilizer reduction and showed that straw return combined with N fertilizer reduction may be a promising practice to maintain mycorrhizal symbiosis concomitantly with crop productivity.

The desert and sandy land are the products of arid climate. The spatial distribution of modern deserts and sandy land in china and their relation to climate show following characteristics: arid and hyper-arid desert zones, at isohyet of less than 200 mm, are dominated by mobile dunes; semi-arid steppe and arid desert steppe with the precipitation between 200?00 mm, are dominated by semi-fixed and fixed sand dunes; the precipitation of sub-humid forest grassland and humid forest zones with scattered fixed sand land is higher than 400 mm. With this as reference, in combination with considerable amount of paleoclimatic data in desert regions and adjacent regions, the distributions of desert and sandy land in china during the last intergla-cial period, the last glacial maximum (LGM), and the Holocene megathermal, were preliminarily reconstructed. The results compared with that of today show that the distribution of desert and sandy land in china was greatly dwindled during last interglacial period, and the mobile dune area was about two-thirds of that of today's, but greatly expanded during LGM. However, the dwindling area of desert and sandy land in the Holocene megathermal was smaller than that in the last interglacial period. The forcing mechanism was mainly related to the changes of East Asian winter and summer monsoon, south-northward swing of the westerlies and the variations of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau monsoon intensity caused by global climate changes during the cold and warm intervals since the last interglacial period.

Economical Quadrupedal Multi-Gait Locomotion via Gait-Heuristic Reinforcement Learning

In order to strike a balance between achieving desired velocities and minimizing energy consumption,legged animals have the ability to adopt the appropriate gait pattern and seamlessly transition to another if *** ability makes them more versatile and efficient when traversing natural terrains,and more suitable for long *** the same way,it is meaningful and important for quadruped robots to master this *** achieve this goal,we propose an effective gait-heuristic reinforcement learning framework in which multiple gait locomotion and smooth gait transitions automatically emerge to reach target velocities while minimizing energy *** incorporate a novel trajectory generator with explicit gait information as a memory mechanism into the deep reinforcement learning *** allows the quadruped robot to adopt reliable and distinct gait patterns while benefiting from a warm start provided by the trajectory ***,we investigate the key factors contributing to the emergence of multiple gait *** tested our framework on a closed-chain quadruped robot and demonstrated that the robot can change its gait patterns,such as standing,walking,and trotting,to adopt the most energy-efficient gait at a given ***,we deploy our learned controller to a quadruped robot and demonstrate the energy efficiency and robustness of our method.

DMPP mitigates N_(2)O and NO productions by inhibiting ammonia-oxidizing bacteria in an intensified vegetable field under different temperature and moisture regimes

Vegetable soils with high nitrogen input are major sources of nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)and nitric oxide(NO),and incorporation of the nitrification inhibitor 3.4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate(DMPP)into soils has been documented to effectively reduce ***,the efficiency of DMPP in terms of soil N_(2)O and NO mitigations varies greatly depending on soil temperature and moisture ***,further evaluations of DMPP efficiency in diverse environments are required to encourage widespread application.A laboratory incubation study(28 d)was established to investigate the interactive effects of DMPP,temperature(15,25,and 3.?C),and soil moisture(55% and 80% of water-holding capacity(WHC))on net nitrification rate,N_(2)O and NO productions,and gene abundances of nitrifiers and denitrifiers in an intensive vegetable *** showed that incubating soil with 1%DMPP led to partial inhibition of the net nitrification rate and N_(2)O and NO productions,and the reduction percentage of N_(2)O production was higher than that of NO production(69.3.vs.3..2%)regardless of temperature and soil moisture *** increased temperatures promoted the net nitrification rate but decreased soil N_(2)O and NO *** moisture influenced NO production more than N_(2)O production,decreasing with the increased moisture level(80%).The inhibitory effect of DMPP on cumulative N_(2)O and NO productions decreased with increased temperatures at 55%***,the inhibitory effect of DMPP on cumulative N_(2)O production increased with increased temperatures at 80%*** on the correlation analyses and automatic linear modeling,the mitigation of both N_(2)O and NO productions from the soil induced by DMPP was attributed to the decreases in ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)amoA gene abundance and NO_(2)^(-)-N ***,our study indicated that DMPP reduced both N_(2)O and NO productions by regulating the associated AOB amoA gene abundance and NO_(2)^(-)-N concentra
