In this study,we aimed to synthesise and evaluate the antimicrobial activity of sulphanilamide-condensed pyrimidine *** compounds were synthesised using a one-pot,three-component *** structures of the synthesised compounds were confirmed using spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR,1H NmR,mass spectrometry,and elemental *** antibacterial activity of all the synthesised compounds was tested against Escherichia coli(***)and Bacillus subtilis(***),two types of Gram.p.sitive *** thiamine-pyrophosphate riboswitch *** and the purine riboswitch *** were chosen as targets to determine how compounds bind to *** molecular docking data showed that compound 6f bound well and had the lowest binding energy in the active site areas of both *** was in line with the tests done in *** majority of the compounds have been demonstrated to be antibacterial.

Digital fabrication techniques,in recent decades,have provided the basis of a sustainable revolution in the construction ***,selecting the digital fabrication method in terms of manufacturability and functionality requirements is a complex *** paper presents alternatives and criteria for selection of digital fabrication techniques by adopting the multi-criteria decision-making *** alternatives considered in the study are concrete three-dimensional(3D)printing,shotcrete,smart dynamic casting,material intrusion,mesh molding,injection concrete 3D printing,and thin forming *** criteria include formwork utilization,reinforcement incorporation,geometrical complexity,material enhancement,assembly complexity,surface finish,and build *** demonstrates different multi-criteria decision-making techniques,with both subjective and objective weighting *** given ranking is based on the current condition of digital fabrication in the construction *** study reveals that in the selection of digital fabrication techniques,the criteria including reinforcement incorporation,build area,and geometrical complexity play a pivotal role,collectively accounting for nearly 70% of the overall *** the evaluated techniques,concrete 3D printing emerged as the best performer,however the shotcrete and mesh molding techniques in the second and third positions.

Direct recycling is a novel approach to overcoming the drawbacks of conventional lithium-ion battery(LIB)recycling processes and has gained considerable attention from the academic and industrial sectors in recent *** primary objective of directly recycling LIBs is to efficiently recover and restore the active electrode materials and other components in the solid phase while retaining electrochemical *** technology's advantages over traditional pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy are costeffectiveness,energy efficiency,and sustainability,and it preserves the material structure and morphology and can shorten the overall recycling *** review extensively discusses the advancements in the direct recycling of LIBs,including battery sorting,pretreatment processes,separation of cathode and anode materials,and regeneration and quality enhancement of electrode *** encompasses various approaches to successfully regenerate high-value electrode materials and streamlining the recovery process without compromising their electrochemical ***,we highlight key challenges in direct recycling when scaled from lab to industries in four perspectives:(1)battery design,(2)disassembling,(3)electrode delamination,and(4)commercialization and *** on these challenges and changing market trends,a few strategies are discussed to aid direct recycling efforts,such as binders,electrolyte selection,and alternative battery designs;and recent transitions and technological advancements in the battery industry are presented.

Serial remote sensing images offer a valuable means of tracking the evolutionary changes and growth of a specific geographical area over *** the original images may provide limited insights,they harbor considerable potential for identifying clusters and *** aggregation of these serial remote sensing images(SRSI)becomes increasingly viable as distinct patterns emerge in diverse scenarios,such as suburbanization,the expansion of native flora,and agricultural *** a novel approach,we propose an innovative method for extracting sequential patterns by combining Ant Colony Optimization(ACD)and Empirical mode Decomposition(EmD).This integration of the newly developed EmD and ACO techniques proves remarkably effective in identifying the most significant characteristic features within serial remote sensing images,guided by specific *** findings highlight a substantial improvement in the efficiency of sequential pattern mining through the application of this unique hybrid method,seamlessly integrating EmD and ACO for feature *** study exposes the potential of our innovative methodology,particularly in the realms of urbanization,native vegetation expansion,and agricultural activities.

Ovaling deformation of circular tunnels has received great interest from the tunneling community because this mode of seismicinduced deformation is considered the most ***,there is growing evidence that other deformation modes can also be important and thus need to be considered in *** study presents a new analytical solution to estimate axial bending(snaking),a mode of deformation caused by S-waves impinging on a tunnel parallel to the tunnel *** solution is developed using the soilstructure interaction approach with the assumption that the interface between the ground and the tunnel lining is frictionless(fullslip).Full dynamic numerical simulations are conducted to verify the new full-slip solution,together with the existing no-slip *** of dynamic amplification are also explored for both full-slip and no-slip interface conditions by changing the wavelength(or frequency)of the seismic input motions.

Nonmagnetic impurity scattering is known to shift up the Ginzburg-Landau parameter k of a *** this case,when the system is initially in type I,it can change its magnetic response,crossing the intertype domain with k~1 between the two standard superconductivity types and arriving at type *** the present work we demonstrate that the impact of disorder can be much more profound in the presence of the multiband structure of the charge carrier *** particular,when the band diffusivities differ from each other,the intertype domain tends to expand significantly,including points with k>>1 that belong to deep type-Ⅱ in conventional single-band *** finding sheds light on the nontrivial disorder effect and significantly complements earlier results on the enlargement of the intertype domain in clean multiband superconductors.
