Urinary Tract Infection in Pediatric Emergency Department of Mohamed VI Hospital in Marrakech: Epidemiological Profile and Antibiotic Resistance

Background: Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most frequent bacterial infections in pediatrics. The aim of our work was to establish the epidemiological and bacteriological profile of UTIs in children and then to study the sensitivity of the bacterial strains isolated to antibiotics. Materials and methods: This is a retrospective descriptive study over 3 years (2019-2022), including all cytobacteriological examination of urine (CBEU), performed in children aged 3 months to 14 years, admitted and treated for UTI, in the pediatric emergency department of Mohamed VI University Hospital. Results: A total of 239 children were included in our study. The mean age was 26 months. The sex ratio was 1.08. Escherichia coli was the most isolated bacterial strain in 79% of samples. The tested strains showed a high level of sensitivity to susceptibility rate toward amikacin (91%) and ciprofloxacin (100%) and whereas the level of resistance was high to the most current recommended antibiotics, mainly beta-lactams. Management was based, in severe forms of pyelonephritis, dual antibiotic therapy based on Third-generation cephalosporins combined with gentamycin. Favorable outcome was noted in 94% of children. Conclusion: Awareness-raising on the proper use of antibiotics, issuing national recommendations for the treatment of urinary tract infections in order to standardize therapeutic regimens is strongly recommended. Effective control of these infections requires a global prevention strategy that implies close collaboration between epidemiologists, clinicians, bacteriologists, hygienists and the health care team.

For bounded linear operators A,B,C and D on a Banach space X,we show that if BAC=BDB and CDB=CAC then I-AC is generalized Drazin-Riesz invertible if and only if I-BD is generalized Drazin-Riesz invertible,which gives a positive answer to Question 4.9 in Yan,Zeng and Zhu[Complex *** 14,Paper No.12(2020)].In particular,we show that Jacobson’s lemma holds for generalized Drazin-Riesz inverses.

We consider a McKean Vlasov backward stochastic differential equation(MVBSDE) of the form Y_(t)=-F(t,Y_(t),Z_(t),[Y_(t)]) dt+Z_(t) dB_(t),Y_(T)=ξ,where [Y_(t)] stands for the law of Y,.We show that if F is locally monotone in y,locally Lipschitz with respect to z and law's variable,and the monotonicity and Lipschitz constants κ_(n),L_(n) are such that L_(n)^(2)+κ_(n)^(+)=O(log(N)),then the MVBSDE has a unique stable solution.

Water depth,salinity,current,and suspended sediment concentration(SSC) were measured along with the grain size distribution of bed sediment along an estuarine longitudinal *** floc size increased with increase in the percentage of clay and silt,while decreased with increase in the percentage of sand content of bed *** turbulent shear,G,had a direct effect on floc size with its value increasing with increase in G up to a G value of 15 s,while an inverse relation existed between floc size and G at higher G(C> 15 s).Further,higher turbulence enabled sand to get resuspended and cause additional shear leading to the break-up of *** attempt was made to modify G to account for the combined effect of water turbulence(C) and shear imparted by sand(C) and the impact of the modification of G on the predictability of floc size was evaluated.A new model was developed which explains floc size in terms of sediment concentration(C),salinity gradient(S),and G for different scenarios based on the value of *** analysis was done for observed floc size(FS) and predicted floc size using four approaches:(Ⅰ) FS β C~χ;(Ⅱ) FS α C~χS;(Ⅲ) FS α C~χSG~z for G 15 s; and(Ⅳ) FS α C~χSGfor G> 15 sand G=G+G,where x,y,and z are determined by *** was observed that the predictability of the floc size improved when the turbulence was modified to account for shear imparted by sand so that the coefficient of determination was increased from 0.78 for model Ⅲ to 0.89 for model Ⅳ.Further,the settling velocity was expressed as a function of suspended sediment concentration,turbulent shear,and salinity *** predictability of settling velocity was improved(R~2 increased from 0.77 to 0.86) when the additional turbulence created by sand was incorporated in the non-dimensional empirical *** study highlights the influence of sand in causing the break-up of flocs and suggests that for turbulence shear values high enough to resuspend

生物降解地膜(BDMs)被认为是减轻聚乙烯地膜污染的一种有效方法。BDM由不同的聚合物组成,在土壤中可被原位降解进入农业土壤。土壤中的这些降解物具有较大的表面积,可能会吸附土壤中的其他污染物,对农业生态系统中污染物的环境行为可能产生影响。本研究以重庆某镉污染土壤为材料,采用盆栽试验,研究了常规PE膜及来自3家(BS、HB和SH)企业的聚己二酸/对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(Poly Butylene Adipate-co-terephthalate,PBAT)/聚乳酸(Polylactic Acid,PLA)型生物降解地膜碎片对3种蔬菜莴笋(Lactuca sativa L.)、飘儿白(Brassica campestris L.)和小白菜(Brassica chinensis L.)种植下土壤理化性质与镉的有效性、幼苗生长和吸收镉的影响。研究结果表明:(1)地膜碎片对土壤p H的影响因植物和地膜的类型不同而异。添加PE碎片降低3种蔬菜土壤的p H,所有的BDMs碎片处理降低小白菜土壤p H,SH可提高莴笋和飘儿白土壤p H值,BS用量高时可提高莴笋土壤p H,但对飘儿白土壤p H影响不显著。相反,HB对莴笋土壤p H影响不显著,却提高飘儿白土壤p H。同种植物及地膜下,两个地膜添加量间土壤p H无明显变化规律。(2)植物类型对土壤有机质(SOM)的影响较地膜类型更明显。添加BDMs后SOM含量的变化与土壤中生长的植物类型有关。PE对莴笋和小白菜土壤SOM影响不显著,但可提高飘儿白土壤SOM,BS莴笋和小白菜土壤SOM,但降低飘儿白SOM。HB和SH对3种蔬菜生长的土壤SOM含量影响不显著。(3)添加PE和BS碎片显著提高小白菜土壤有效镉含量,对莴笋和飘儿白土壤有效镉含量的影响不显著,添加HB和SH使所有土壤有效镉含量降低。(4)BDMs和PE碎片对3种蔬菜的株高影响不显著,但BDMs可提高小白菜和莴笋的SPAD值,对小白菜SPAD值的影响不显著。(5)PE低用量对莴笋和小白菜生长的影响不显著,但高用量抑制这两种蔬菜的生长,对飘儿白的生长均有抑制作用.BDMs在使用量为10g/kg时促进莴笋和小白菜的生长,但除SH外均抑制飘儿白的生长。(6)添加BS和HB抑制莴笋和小白菜根和地上部镉的累积及飘儿白地上部镉累积。SH可提高飘儿白和莴笋地上部镉含量,但降低小白菜根和3种蔬菜地上部镉含量。PE碎片在用量为10 g/kg提高3种蔬菜根和地上部镉含量。上述结果表明,当用量为10g/kg时,BDMs不会导致蔬菜生物量下降但可降低蔬菜镉的累积,其原因有待进一步研究。也需要进一步试验评估BDMs对农业生态系统健康影响的长期效应。

Heroin is considered as damage on the health of the *** this paper,we consider a heroin epidemic model with treat age,where the inner rivalry in between the drug users for a small dose of drugs is *** influence of treatment period for a drug consumer before quitting treatment is investigated,where it is obtained that the considered model can undergo backward bifurcation,which shows the possibility of having two endemic equilibriums,this type of bifurcation is discussed in terms of the basic reproduction number *** bifurcation diagram is drown in the case of an age structured ***,we show the existence of Hopf bifurcation is shown under suitable conditions on the model *** obtained mathematical results are confirmed numerically.

We consider in this research an age-structured alcoholism *** global behavior of the model is *** is proved that the system has a threshold dynamics in terms of the basic reproduction number(BRN),where we obtained that alcohol-free equilibrium(AFE)is globally asymptotically stable(GAS)in the case R_(0)≤1,but for R_(0)>1 we found that the system persists and the nontrivial equilibrium(EE)is ***,the effects of the susceptible drinkers rate and the repulse rate of the recovers to alcoholics are investigated,which allow us to provide a proper strategy for reducing the spread of alcohol use in the studied *** obtained mathematical results are tested numerically next to its biological relevance.

We show in this work that the limit in law of the cross-variation of processes having the form of Young integral with respect to a general self-similar centered Gaussian process of orderβ∈(1/2,3/4]is normal according to the values ofβ.We apply our results to two self-similar Gaussian processes:the subfractional Brownian motion and the bifractional Brownian motion.

The main purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of predation on the spread of a disease developed in the prey population where we assume that the prey has a social *** memory of the prey and the predator measured by the time fractional derivative plays a crucial role in modeling the dynamical response in a predator–prey *** memory can be modeled to articulate the involvement of interacting species by the presence of the time fractional derivative in the considered *** the purpose of studying the complex dynamics generated by the presence of infection and the time-fractional-derivative we split our study into two cases. The first one is devotedto study the effect of a non-selective hunting on the spread of the disease, where the localstability of the equilibria is investigated. Further the backward bifurcation is obtainedconcerning basic reproduction rate of the infection. The second case is for explaining theimpact of selecting the weakest infected prey on the edge of the herd by a predator onthe prevalence of the infection, where the local behavior is scrutinized. Moreover, for thegraphical representation part, a numerical simulation scheme has been achieved usingthe Caputo fractional derivative operator.
