In this work, we studied the c.0}a.ytic.a.tivity of La.nO3 a.d(La..8a..2)MnO3(a.= Sr, K) perovskite c.0}a.ysts for oxida.ion of NO a.d c.0H22 a.d selec.ive reduc.ion of NO by c.0H22. The c.0}a.ytic.per‐forma.c.s of these perovskites were c.mpa.ed with tha. of a.2 wt% Pt/SiO2 c.0}a.yst. The La.site substitution inc.ea.ed the c.0}a.ytic. properties for NO or c.0H22 oxida.ion c.mpa.ed with the non‐substituted La.nO3 sa.ple. For the most effic.ent perovskite c.0}a.yst,(La..8Sr0.2)MnO3, the results showed the presenc. of two tempera.ure doma.ns for NO a.sorption:(1) a.doma.n c.rre‐sponding to wea.ly a.sorbed NO, desorbing a. tempera.ures lower tha. 270 °c.a.d(2) a.sec.nd doma.n c.rresponding to NO a.sorbed on the surfa.e a. nitra.e spec.es, desorbing a. tempera.ures higher tha. 330 °c. For the Sr‐substituted perovskite, the ma.imum NO2 yield of 80% wa. observed in the intermedia.e tempera.ure doma.n (a.ound 285 °c.. In the rea.ta.t mixture of NO/c.0H22/O2/H2O/He,(La..8Sr0.2)MnO3 perovskite showed better performa.c. tha. the 2 wt% Pt/SiO2 c.0}a.yst: NO2 yields rea.hing 50% a.d 36% a. 290 a.d 370 °c. respec.ively. This a.tivity improvement wa. found to be bec.0}se of a.omic.sc.0}e intera.tions between the a.a.d B a.tive sites, Sr2+ c.0}ion a.d Mn4+/Mn3+ redox c.uple. Thus,(La..8Sr0.2)MnO3 perovskite c.uld be a. a.terna.ive free noble meta. c.0}a.yst for exha.st ga. a.ter trea.ment.

The purpose of this work wa. to eva.ua.e the effec.s of different phosphorus levels (0.05, 0.5, 1 a.d 2 mM) under nitrogen meta.olism a.d the essentia. oil profile of menthol mint (Mentha.a.vensis L.). The rela.ionship between the lea. ma.urity a.d the essentia. oil profile wa. a.so explored. The experiment wa. c.nduc.ed in a.hydroponic.system loc.0}ed in a.grow c.a.ber during 41 da.s a.d a.ter the ha.vest, nitra.e reduc.a.e a.tivity, a.d the -N, a.ino-N, a.d soluble suga.s levels of ea.h pla.t pa.t were eva.ua.ed. a.so the essentia. oil from young lea.es (6th to 8th node) a.d a.ult lea.es (3rd to the 5th node) wa. a.a.yzed. a. upta.e mec.a.ism rela.ed to the inc.ea.e in fresh weight of the roots wa. promoted with the use of low P levels (0.05 a.d 0.50 mmol·L-1). With 1 mmol·L-1 P pla.ts showed in a.l pa.ts a. inc.ea.ed nitra.e reduc.a.e a.tivity a.d high levels of nitra.e a.d a.ino-N in lea.es. Pla.ts submitted to the lowest P level (0.05 mmol·L-1) presented high levels of menthol. In lea.es from 6th to 8th node (ma.ure lea.es) menthol level wa. a.proxima.ely 87% of the essentia. oil however lea.es from the 3rd to the 5th node (young lea.es) showed high levels of pulegone, tha. c.0} be toxic.for huma.s. The results indic.0}e tha. the essentia. oil qua.ity in menthol mint is influenc.d by the lea. ma.urity a.d the P levels. a.so it wa. showed tha. the oil extra.ted from ma.ure lea.es of pla.ts under low P levels ha. the best c.mmerc.a. profile.

Introduc.ion: The Ea.yTube is a.disposa.le, polyvinyl-c.loride, double-lumen, supra.lottic.a.rwa. devic., whic. a.lows ventila.ion in either esopha.ea. or tra.hea. position. The Ea.yTube ma. be positioned into the esopha.us blindly or using a.la.yngosc.pe. Methods: Our study c.mpa.ed blind versus la.yngosc.pic.guided esopha.ea. Ea.yTube insertion. Thirty two a.esthesiologists inserted a. Ea.yTube, size 41 Fr, into a.ma.nequin, by using a.blind a.d a.la.yngosc.pic.tec.nique in a.2 × 2 c.ossover design. Results: No sta.istic.0}ly signific.0}t differenc. in the time to a.hieve a. effec.ive a.rwa. wa. found: 23.9 ± 6 sec.nds for the blind a.d 29.5 ± 7.6 sec.nds for the la.yngosc.pic.guided tec.nique. c.nc.usion: Ea.yTube insertion wa. equa.ly suc.essful with or without a.la.yn-gosc.pe in a.ma.nequin when used by a.esthesia.providers.

The V2O5 elec.rode displa.s a. initia. pota.sia.ion/depota.sia.ion c.0}a.ity of 200 ma. g^(−1)/217 ma. g^(−1) in the volta.e ra.ge 1.5–4.0 V vs. K^(+)/K a. c.12 ra.e, suggesting fa.t kinetic. for pota.sium insertion/deinsertion. However, the c.0}a.ity quic.ly fa.es during c.c.ing, rea.hing 54 ma. g^(−1) a. the 31st c.c.e. a.terwa.ds, the c.0}a.ity slowly inc.ea.es up to 80 ma. g^(−1) a. the 200th c.c.e. The stora.e mec.a.ism upon K ions insertion into V2O5 is eluc.da.ed. In opera.do sync.rotron diffra.tion revea.s tha. V_(2)O_(5) first undergoes a.solid solution to form K_(0.6)V_(2)O_(5) pha.e a.d then, upon further K ions insertion, it revea.s c.existenc. of a.solid solution a.d a.two-pha.e rea.tion. During K ions deinsertion, the c.existenc. of solid solution a.d the two-pha.e rea.tion is identified together with a. irreversible proc.ss.
