Delivering high quality dietary protein at an affordable price is a major aim of the EU-funded CHAnCE project. Foods have been formulated with this aim and as part of their nutritional assessment;the bioaccessbility of nutrients following simulated gastroduodenal digestion is being investigated. nutrimetabolomics approaches can be used to comprehensively and quantitatively analyse nutrients and metabolites. They have been applied to monitor nutrient release from ham, formulated in the CHAnCE project, during in vitro digestion. SDS-PAGE analysis shows that constituent ham proteins were broken down to lower molecular weight polypeptides (Mr ≤ 10 kDa) after 120 min simulated gastric digestion which was digested further by subsequent duodenal digestion. Digestion of porteins resulted in the appearance of coalesced lipid droplets associated with the loss of the muscle protein matrix of the ham. Important nutrients, such as choline, creatine, carnosine, sucrose, cholesterol, triacylglyceride and fatty acids (saturated and unsaturated) were identified using 1H nMR. Chance ham is a good source of dietary protein and the combined approach can provide representative data on the bioaccessibility of all detectable nutrients contained in CHAnCE ham to human digestive system.

Background Prophylactic para-aortic nodal dissection （PAnD） has no proven benefits for potentially curable advanced gastric ***,the value of therapeutic PAnD for involved para-aortic nodes （PAns） in patients with locally advanced gastric cancers has not been determined *** Between 1998 and 2010,157 gastric cancer patients with 1-3 involved PAns underwent extended D2 （D2＋） lymphadenectomy plus PAnD （PAnD group,n=69） or extended D2 lymphadenectomy alone （non-PAnD group,n=88）.The clinicopathologic features and prognostic data were compared between the two groups.A propensity score-adjusted analysis was used for a balanced *** The rate of PAn metastasis was 40.6％（28/69） in the PAnD *** 5-year survival rate was significantly higher in the PAnD group than in the non-PAnD group （43.7％ vs.31.8％,P=-0.044）.Compared to the non-PAnD group,the death hazard ratios in the PAnD group were 0.45 （95％ CI 0.274-0.739; P=0.002） and 0.536 （95％ CI 0.328-0.861; P=-0.0097） by multivariate analysis without and with propensity score adjustment *** rate at 5 years was 39.1％ in the PAnD group and 43.2％ in the non-PAnD group （P=0.628）.Conclusion Extended D2 lymphadenectomy plus PAnD is associated with superior outcomes for advanced gastric cancer patients with 1-3 involved PAns.

＜正＞Small rotor clearances are today a vital prerequisite for an efficient screw compressor. The clearances are mainly responsible for compressor leakages, a small clearance will minimize them and thereby increase both, the volumetric and adiabatic efficiency. A continuous improvement in the rotor manufacturing equipment has been achieved during the recent years and tight production tolerances may now be applied to compressor rotors. This imposes a new approach upon the design of compressor elements, such as the rotor and bearing housings and bearings to respond properly to this challenge. A mathematical apparatus to quantify eventual rotor interference in screw compressors due to the bearing clearance and the imperfections in compressor housing manufacturing is presented in this paper an applied for identification of their significance and influence upon the screw compressor behaviour. The analysis based on this approach has shown that the rotor interference may have negative, either static or dynamic effects on the compressor efficiency, safety, endurance and reliability and enhancing compressor noise.

Based on relativistic mean field（RMF） models, we study finite A-hypernuclei and massive neutron stars. The effective n-n interactions PK1 and TM1 are adopted, while the n-A interactions are constrained by reproducing the binding energy of A-hyperon at 1 s orbit of Λ^40Ca. It is found that the A-meson couplings follow a simple relation, indicating a fixed A potential well for symmetric nuclear matter at saturation densities, i.e., around VΛ=-29.786 MeV. With those interactions, a large mass range of Λ-hypernuclei can be described well. Furthermore,the masses of PSR J1614-2230 and PSR J0348＋0432 can be attained adopting the Λ-meson couplings gσΛ/gσn≥0.73,gωΛ/gωn≥0.80 for PK1 and gσΛ/gσn≥0.81,gωΛ/gωn≥0.90 for TM1, respectively. This resolves the hyperon puzzle without introducing any additional degrees of freedom.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

通过溶胶-凝胶法和光还原法制备掺Ag复合纳米TiO2。用XRD表征了TiO2的晶体形态。以典型偶氮结构的甲基橙水溶液为模拟对象,研究掺Ag复合纳米TiO2光催化性能。实验结果表明,TiO2悬浮体系中甲基橙的光催化降解符合Langmuir动力学规律。根据动力学计算,掺Ag复合TiO2和单纯TiO2对甲基橙的降解速率常数分别为27．34mg／(L·h)和14．42m/(L-h),光催化的活性提高了近2倍。因此有望通过这一技术制备出比单纯TiO2 更好的光催化剂。
