It is beyond dispute that cytotoxic T-lymphocytes(CTLs)exert a vital function in the host's antiviral defense *** the idea of the above factor and the logistic proliferation of CD4+T-cells,we establish a HTLV-I(human T-cell leukemia virus type-I)mathematical ***,two threshold parameters Ro and Re(the basic reproduction numbers for viral infection and CTL immune response,respectively)are ***,sufficient criteria for local and global asymptotic stabilities of the feasible equilibria of the model are deduced,***,the sensitivity analyses of Ro and Rc are performed to better understand the effective strategies for HTLV-I ***,not only numerical simulations are given to illustrate the stability conclusions,but also the biological significance is stated.

Hyperpolarized^(3)He nuclei have emerged as a significantly important approach in quantum precision measurement techniques,with extensive applications in fundamental physics,magnetometry,metrology,and *** this study,we report on the design and implementation of a^(3)He polarization system at the China Mianyang Research Reactor(CMRR),utilizing the metastabilityexchange optical pumping(MEOP)*** employed a Merritt coil system consisting of four square coils to furnish a uniform holding *** deployed a 2 W fiber laser to pump the metastable^(3)He atoms and conducted free induction decay(FID)detection of the polarized^(3)He nuclei using both pickup coil and optical *** the optical method,we used a50 m W linearly polarized distributed Bragg reflector(DBR)laser as the *** applied transverse light absorption polarimetry to measure the absolute nuclear polarization of the ground-state^(3)*** have developed cell fabrication capabilities at the CMRR,and cells at various pressures ranging from 100 to 1000 Pa have been fabricated and *** a typical borosilicate cell with 100 Pa pressure,the absolute polarization is measured as Pn≈70%,and the transverse relaxation time is estimated as T2≈0.5 ***,we constructed a few aluminosilicate cells,each carefully filled with pure^(3)He at a pressure of 100 ***,we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of their performance in the context of MEOP.

Many rubber friction theories or some method combined theories and field-experiments are employed to evaluate the pavement skid-resistance deterioration due to the evolution of surface ***,these methods are difficult to be implemented in the analysis of situations with multi-factor coupling and some extreme *** study developed a framework to evaluate the skid-resistance deterioration of asphalt *** this framework,the portable laser scanning was used to create the digital worn pavement model,and a hydroplaning finite element(FE)model for these digital worn pavements was constructed to evaluate coupling effects of the texture evolution and factors of slip ratio,slip angle,velocity and water film on braking-cornering characteristics of *** this study,the deterioration of skid-resistance of five typical asphalt pavements due the surface texture wear was systematically investigated by this *** with previous works,this study established the rubber friction models for each digital worn pavement considering the energy hysteresis of rubber and the power spectrum density of surface *** the rubber friction model was used to define the interaction behaviors between the tire and corresponding wore pavements in the FE hydroplaning model,rather than using an empirical friction model or a fixed friction coefficient.

Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs)are an important subclass of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)with zeolite-type topology,which can be fabricated under ambient synthesis ***,the applications of ZIFs are commonly limited due to the weak hydrostability of their metal–ligand coordination bonds,particularly under humid and aqueous *** this work,as an example,the hydrolysis behaviours of ZIF-L with a special focus on ZIF-L coatings were tested at aqueous conditions with a wide range of pHs to systematically study and fundamentally understand their structural stability and degradation *** ZIF-L powder and ZIF-L coatings were severely damaged after only 24 h in aqueous ***,the ZIF-L coatings showed two distinct hydrolyzation pathways regardless of pH conditions,exhibiting either a ring-shaped etching or unfolding *** the ZIF-L powders were hydrolyzed almost identically across all pH *** this new understanding,a facile silk fibroin(SF)protein modification method was developed to enhance the hydrostability of ZIF-L coatings in aqueous *** effect of protein concentration on surface coating was systemically ***-L coating retained its surface morphology after soaking in water and demonstrated switchable super wetting properties and superior separation performance for oil/water *** a result,the quick SF protein modification significantly enhanced the stability of ZIF-L coatings under various pHs,while retaining their switchable wetting property and excellent separation performance.

As a four-electron transfer reaction,oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is limited by large overpotential and slow ***,we in-situ synthesized two-dimensional(2D)Ni-Fe metal-organic framework nanosheets on nickel foam(NixFe-TPA/NF,TPA=terephthalic acid)for oxygen evolution in alkaline and alkaline seawater *** 1 M KOH,Ni3Fe-TPA/NF shows a low overpotential(η10)of 189 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and an ultra-low overpotential of only 260 mV at 500 mA·cm^(-2).In alkaline seawater,Ni3Fe-TPA/NF still provides impressive OER performance,with anη10 of 265 ***-situ Raman characterization results show that the phase transition occurs during the OER,and Ni3FeOOH with more oxygen vacancies is in-situ formed,reducing the OER energy *** functional theory(DFT)reveals that the synergy between Ni and Fe reduces the energy barrier and accelerates the rate-determining *** addition,the ultra-thin 2D sheet structure and the close combination of Ni3FeOOH and highly conductive NF support ensure the high catalytic OER ***,the surface reconstruction and structural modification strategy can be used to design and prepare high-performance OER electrocatalysts for energy-related applications.

Ceftazidime-avibactam (CZA) is a recently approved combination synthetic β-lactamase inhibitor used in human clinical medicine. Cases of CZA resistance in humans have already been reported, but limited research has investigated CZA resistance in pets. This study explored the prevalence and transmission of CZA-resistant Escherichia coli (CZAREC) among pets, their owners, veterinarians, and the environment in animal hospitals. A total of 5,419 clinical samples were collected from dogs and cats, along with samples from the environment (n = 5,843), veterinarians (n = 557), and pet owners (n = 368) in animal hospitals. From these samples, 760 Escherichia coli (E. coli) isolates were obtained, out of which 60 were identified as CZAREC. These included 34 isolates from the environment (9.14 %, n = 372), three from veterinarians (8.11 %, n = 37), and 23 from animals (6.82 %, n = 337). No CZAREC isolates were found in pet owners. The predominant sequence types of CZARECs were ST156 (n = 20), ST410 (n = 19) and ST101 (n = 7). Bayesian analysis revealed six clusters comprising 47 isolates from the hospital environment, pets, and veterinaries, displaying genetic relatedness of less than 100 core genome single nucleotide polymorphisms (cgSNPs) between any two isolates in each cluster. Some CZAREC isolates with high genetic similarity persisted in the same animal hospital for four to six months. Moreover, discriminant analysis of principal components indicated that most isolates from different hosts shared a genetic source in the human/dog/cat merged cluster. Overall, evidence of CZARECs transmission was found among pets, the environment, and veterinarians in animal hospitals. The findings emphasize the importance of monitoring CZARECs in the veterinary clinical setting to ensure the health of both pets and humans.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COvID-19)is a severe global public health emergency that has caused a major cri-sis in the safety of human life,health,global economy,and social ***,CovID-19 poses significant challenges to healthcare systems *** prediction and early warning of infectious diseases on a global scale are the premise and basis for countries to jointly fight ***,because of the complexity of epidemics,predicting infectious diseases on a global scale faces significant *** this study,we developed the second version of Global Prediction System for Epidemiological Pandemic(GPEP-2),which combines statis-tical methods with a modified epidemiological *** GPEP-2 introduces various parameterization schemes for both impacts of natural factors(seasonal variations in weather and environmental impacts)and human so-cial behaviors(government control and isolation,personnel gathered,indoor propagation,virus mutation,and vaccination).The GPEP-2 successfully predicted the COVID-19 pandemic in over 180 countries with an average accuracy rate of 82.7%.It also provided prediction and decision-making bases for several regional-scale CovID-19 pandemic outbreaks in China,with an average accuracy rate of 89.3%.Results showed that both anthropogenic and natural factors can affect virus spread and control measures in the early stages of an epidemic can effectively control the *** predicted results could serve as a reference for public health planning and policymaking.

Bone regeneration for large,critical-sized bone defects remains a clinical challenge *** bone regeneration(GBR)is a promising technique for the repair of multiple bone defects,which is widely used in oral and maxillofacial bone defects but is still unsatisfied in the treatment of long bone ***,we successfully fabricated a bilayer mineralized collagen/collagen(MC/Col)-GBR membrane with excellent osteoinductive and barrier function by coating the MC particles prepared via in situ biomimetic mineralization process on one side of a sheet-like pure collagen *** aim of the present study was to investigate the physicochemical properties and biological functions of the MC/Col film,and to further evaluate its bone regeneration efficiency in large bone defect *** infrared spectra and X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed the presence of both hydroxyapatite and collagen phase in the MC/Col film,as well as the chemical interaction between *** microscope,scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscope showed the uniform distribution of MC particles in the MC/Col film,resulting in a rougher surface compared to the pure Col *** quantitative analysis of surface contact angle,light transmittance and tensile strength demonstrated that the MC/Col film have better hydrophilicity,mechanical properties,light-barrier properties,*** vitro macrophage co-culture experiments showed that the MC/Col film can effectively inhibit macrophage proliferation and fusion,reducing fibrous capsule *** vivo bone repair assessment of a rabbit critical segmental radial defect proved that the MC/Col film performed better than other groups in promoting bone repair and regeneration due to their unique dual osteoinductive/barrier *** findings provided evidence that MC/Col film has a great clinical potential for effective bone defect repair.
