the network of Himalayan roadways and highways connects some remote regions of valleys or hill slopes,which is vital for India’s socio-economic *** to natural and artificial factors,frequency of slope instabilities along the networks has been increasing over last few *** of stability of natural and artificial slopes due to construction of these connect.n. road networks is significant in safely execut.n. these roads throughout the *** rock mass classification methods are generally used to assess the strength and deformability of rock *** study assesses slope stability along the nH-1A of Ramban district of north Western *** structurally and non-structurally controlled rock mass classification systems have been applied to assess the stability conditions of 14 *** evaluat.n. the stability of these slopes,kinematic analysis was performed along with geological strength index(GSI),rock mass rat.n.(RMR),cont.n.ous slope mass rat.n.(CoSMR),slope mass rat.n.(SMR),and Q-slope in the present *** SMR gives three slopes as completely unstable while CoSMR suggests four slopes as completely *** stability of all slopes was also analyzed using a design chart under dynamic and static conditions by slope stability rat.n.(SSR)for the factor of safety(FoS)of 1.2 and 1 respectively.Q-slope with probability of failure(PoF)1%gives two slopes as stable *** slope angle has been determined based on the Q-slope safe angle equation and SSR design chart based on the *** value ranges given by different empirical classifications were RMR(37-74),GSI(27.3-58.5),SMR(11-59),and CoSMR(3.39-74.56).Good relationship was found among RMR&SSR and RMR&GSI with correlation coefficient(R 2)value of 0.815 and 0.6866,***,a comparative stability of all these slopes based on the above classification has been performed to identify the most critical slope along this road.

In the quest for the development of thermally stable,highly active and low-cost catalysts for use in catalyzed diesel particulate filter,nano-composites are new areas of ***,we reported the easy synthesis of spinel niCo_(2)O_(4)/perovskite LaCoO_(3) nano-composite,and its individual oxides niCo_(2)O_(4)and LaCoO_(3) for *** detailed insights into the physio-chemical characteristics of formed niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite were done based on various characterization analysis such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(Ft-IR),n_(2) physiosorption,scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDX),transmission electron microscopy(tEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).the characterization analysis of niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) revealed the successful formation of a chemical interface possessing strong interfacial interaction,result.n. in desirable physicochemical characteristics such as small crystallite size,abundant mesoporosity,high specific surface area and activation of surface lattice *** to the desirable characteristics,the activity results over niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite showed the excellent CO oxidation performance and high soot oxidation activity,recyclability and thermal *** work mainly attempts to emphasize the effectiveness of the facile,inexpensive and conventionally used precipitation method for the successful formation of highly efficient.n.no-composites.

Rationale:Salmonella is a common etiological agent behind the tropical fever syndrome in the Indian *** prevalence in India remains high due to a lack of proper sanitation services in large parts of the *** neuropsychiatric manifestations is rare and the underst.n.ing on their pathophysiology is still *** concerns:A 19-year-old male,presented with a 10-day history of altered mental status,high-grade fever and violent behaviour.2 Days prior to admission,he developed decreased responsiveness and a muttering delirium with ***:Coma vigil secondary to ***:Intravenous ceftriaxone and ***:the resolution of the coma vigil and the associated Salmonella infection were observed;however,the patient developed residual ***:the atypical presentation of a globally obt.n.ed state followed by mutism in typhoid coma in this case should be brought to the att.n.ion of clinicians ***,the enduring speech limitations and pot.n.ial psychiatric consequences may be linked to the prolonged duration of the infection.

the mental model that fertilizer nitrogen (n) acts as a replacement for n mineralized from soil organic matter (SOM) needs to be revisited. Soil organic matter, the storehouse of n in soil, is one of the most import.n. indicators of soil health. It supplies more n to crop plants than the current-year fertilizer n even when applied at high rates. Limited research shows that the application of fertilizer n above the optimum levels on a long-term basis deteriorates soil health by mineralizing SOM and deplet.n. the soil n pool. Because soil n includes portions of fertilizer n applied in several previous years, year after year application of fertilizer n below the optimum levels will also lead to a gradual decline in soil n pool or soil health. to sustain high crop yield levels, fertilizer n needs to be applied on a long-term basis neither above nor below the optimum levels to ensure that soil health in terms of sustaining supply of soil n is maintained, if not enhanced.

In this research paper,a solar air heater with triangular fins has been experimentally analysed and ***,an experimental set-up of a solar air heater having triangular fins has been developed at the location of 28.10°n,78.23°*** heat transfer rate through fins and fins efficiency has been determined by the Finite Difference Method model *** experimental data and modeled data of response parameters have been optimized in MInItAB-17 software by the Response Surface Methodology *** creat.n. the response surface design,three input parameters have been selected namely solar int.n.ity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height *** range of solar int.n.ity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height ratio is 600 to 1000W/m^(2),4000 to 6000,and 0.4 to 0.8 *** response surface design has been analyzed by calculat.n. the outlet temperature,friction factor,nusselt.n.mber,fin efficiency,thermal performance factor,and exergy *** optimum sett.n.s of input parameters:solar int.n.ity is 1000 W/m^(2);Reynolds number is 4969.7,and the fin base to height ratio is 0.6060,on which these response:namely outlet temperature of 92.531℃,friction factor of 0.2350,nusselt.n.mber of 127.761,thermal efficiency of 50.836%,thermal performance factor of 1.4947,and exergy efficiency of 8.762%.

Glacier inventories serve as critical baseline data for underst.n.ing the impacts of climate change on *** present study maps the outlines of glaciers in the Chandra-Bhaga Basin(western Himalaya)for the years 1993,2000,2010,and 2019 using Landsat thematic Mapper(tM),Enhanced thematic Mapper(EtM),and Operational Land Imager(OLI)datasets.A total of 251 glaciers,each having an area above 0.5 km^(2),were identified,which include 216 clean-ice and 35 debris-covered *** changes are estimated for three periods:1993-2000,2000-2010,and *** total glacierized area was 996±62 km^(2) in 1993,which decreased to 973±70 km^(2) in *** mean rate of glacier area loss was higher in the recent decade(2010-2019),at 0.036 km^(2),compared to previous decades(0.029 km^(2) in 2000-2010 and 0.025 km^(2) in 1993-2000).Supraglacial debris cover changes are also mapped over the period of 1993 and *** is found that the supraglacial debris cover increased by 14.12±2.54 km^(2)(15.2%)during *** field surveys on Chhota Shigri,Panchi II,Patsio,Hamtah,Mulkila,and Yoche Lungpa glaciers were carried out to validate the glacier outlines and supraglacial debris cover estimated using satellite *** of various morphological parameters on retreat were also *** is observed that small,clean ice,south oriented glaciers,and glaciers with proglacial lakes are losing area at faster rates than other glaciers in the basin.

this study evaluates the effectiveness of phase change materials(PCMs) inside a storage t.n. of warm water for solar water heat.n.(SWH) system through the theoretical simulation based on the experimental model of *** et *** model is explained by five fundamental equations for the calculation of various parameters like the effectiveness of PCMs,the mass of hot water,total heat cont.n.,and duration of *** study simulated eleven PCMs to analyze their effectiveness like Sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate(SHPD),OM 37,n-Eicosane(nE),Lauric acid(LA),Paraffin wax(PW),OM 48,Paraffin wax C_(20-33)(PW-C20-33),Sodium acetate trihydrate(SAt),Palmitic acid(PA),Myristic acid(MA),and Stearic acid(SA).Among all PCMs,the SHPD has found the highest value of effectiveness factor of ***,it is the most recommended PCM for the storage t.n. of the SWH *** study also includes the melt fraction analysis of all enumerated PCMs corresponding to container materials of stainless steel,glass,aluminum mixed,t.n.aluminum,and *** melt fraction analysis is performed by making a coding program in the FORtRAn programming *** the analysis,copper container material is found to have high melt.n. rate for all PCMs so it is superior to other container materials.

Readmission rate and early complications in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty:A retrospective study

BACKGROUnD total knee arthroplasty(tKA)can improve pain,quality of life,and functional *** uncommon,postoperative complications are extremely consequential and thus must be carefully tracked and communicated to patients to assist their decision-making before *** of the risk factors for complications and readmissions after tKA,taking into account common causes,temporal trends,and risk variables that can be changed or left unmodified,will benefit this *** to assess readmission rates,early complications and their causes after tKA at 30 days and 90 days *** this was a prospective and retrospective study of 633 patients who underwent tKA at our hospital between January 1,2017,and February 28,*** the 633 patients,28 were not contactable,leaving 609 who met the inclusion *** inpatient and outpatient hospital records were retrieved,and observations were noted in the data collection *** Following tKA,the 30-day and 90-day readmission rates were determined to be 1.1%(n=7)and 1.8%(n=11),*** unplanned visit rate at 30 days following tKA was 2.6%(n=16)and at 90 days was 4.6%(n=28).At 90 days,the unplanned readmission rate was 1.4%(n=9).Reasons for readmissions included medical(27.2%,n=3)and surgical(72.7%,n=8).Unplanned readmissions and visits within 90 days of follow-up did not subst.n.ially differ by age group(P=0.922),body mass index(BMI)(P=0.633),unilateral vs bilateral tKA(P=0.696),or patient comorbidity status(30-day P=0.171 and 90-day P=0.813).Reoperation rates after tKA were 0.66%(n=4)at 30 days and 1.15%(n=8)at 90 *** average length of stay was 6.53 *** In this study,there was a low readmission rate following *** was no significant correlation between readmission rate and patient factors such as age,BMI,and co-morbidity status.
