Strongly Anchoring Polysulfides by Hierarchical Fe3O4/C3N4 Nanostructures for Advanced Lithium-Sulfur Batteries

Li-S batteries have attracted considerable interest as nextgeneration energy storage devices owing to high energy density and the natural abundance of ***,the practical applications of Li-S batteries are hampered by the shuttle effect of soluble lithium polysulfides(LPS),which results in low cycle ***,a functional interlayer has been developed to efficiently regulate the LPS and enhance the sulfur utilization using hierarchical nanostructure of C3 N4(t-C3 N4)embedded with Fe304 nanospheres.t-C3 N4 exhibits high surface area and strong anchoring of LPS,and the Fe3 O4/t-C3 N4 accelerates the anchoring of LPS and improves the electronic *** combination of these materials leads to remarkable battery performance with 400%improvement in a specific capacity and a low capacity decay per cycle of 0.02%at 2 C over 1000 cycles,and stable cycling at 6.4 mg cm-2 for high-sulfur-loading cathode.

Bicanalicular versus monocanalicular intubation after failed probing in congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction

AIM：To investigate the clinical outcomes of different intubation techniques in the cases of failed primary ***： This retrospective study was performed on338 patients with the diagnosis of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction with age 1-4y that had failed primary *** was performed under light sedation in operating room and the stent was left 3mo in *** outcome was investigated 3mo after tube ***： Bicanalicular intubation method had higher complete and relative success rates compared to monocanalicular intubation（P =0.00）.In addition,Monoka intubation had better outcomes compared to Masterka technique（P =0.046）.No difference was found between genders but the higher the age,the better the outcomes with bicanalicular technique rather than ***： Overall success rate of bicanalicular intubation is superior to monocanalicular technique especially in older ***,based upon our clinical outcomes,Masterka intubation is not recommended in cases of failed probing.

Total lower lid reconstruction: clinical outcomes of utilizing three-layer flap and graft in one session

AIM:To report the clinical outcomes of utilizing a three-layer flap and graft in reconstruction of the lower lid in one ***:Seventeen patients with total or near total lower eyelid defect were *** defects were reconstructed in three *** lamella was reconstructed by using tarsoconjunctival free graft from the ipsilateral upper lid and periosteal flap from lateral orbital *** of residual orbicularis muscle provided a rich blood supply;and the anterior lamella was reconstructed by skin flap prepared from upper lid blepharoplasty as a one-pedicular or bipedicular bucket handle ***:The cause of lower eyelid defect was basal cell carcinoma in 15 patients and trauma in two of *** intraoperative and postoperative complication *** were followed from 10 to 15mo *** results were favorable in all patients and we had acceptable functional *** of the reconstructed tissue was a concern in early postoperative ***:Three-layer lower lid reconstruction in one session is an effective technique for total lower lid reconstruction with minimal complications and acceptable functional and aesthetic outcomes and can be considered as a safe alternative for the preexisting techniques.

An important factor in the course of daily medical diagnosis and treatment is understanding patients’ emotional states by the caregiver physicians. However, patients usually avoid speaking out their emotions when expressing their somatic symptoms and complaints to their non-psychiatrist doctor. On the other hand, clinicians usually lack the required expertise(or time) and have a deficit in mining various verbal and non-verbal emotional signals of the patients. As a result, in many cases, there is an emotion recognition barrier between the clinician and the patients making all patients seem the same except for their different somatic symptoms. In particular, we aim to identify and combine three major disciplines(psychology, linguistics, and data science) approaches for detecting emotions from verbal communication and propose an integrated solution for emotion recognition support. Such a platform may give emotional guides and indices to the clinician based on verbal communication at the consultation time.
