Effectivenss of electroacupuncture for skeletal muscle pain in Parkinson's disease:a Clinical randomized controlled trial

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of electroacupuncture on skeletal muscle pain in Parkinson's disease(PD).METHODS:A single-center randomized controlled trial was conducted with sixty patients with Parkinson's disease with skeletal muscle pain were randomly divided into electroacupuncture group and sham acupuncture control group with 30 patients *** electric acupuncture group was treated with electric acupuncture,while the control group was treated with Park needle *** groups were treated 5 times a week for a total of 4 weeks,and both groups completed 20 ***'s Parkinson's Pain Scale(KPPS)and visual analog scale(VAS)were used before and after treatment to evaluate the pain degree of *** shear wave elastography(SWE)and modified Ashworth score(MAS)were used to evaluate the changes of muscle ***'s comprehensive Score Scale(MDS-UPDRS,including UPDRS Ⅱ and UPDRS Ⅲ)was used to evaluate exercise *** Depression Scale(HAMD)score was used to evaluate the emotional changes of *** correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between pain degree and muscle tone,exercise ability and ***:During the study,one case fell off in the control group,and 30 cases were eventually included in the analysis and treatment group and 29 cases in the control *** treatment,Young's modulus of biceps and quadriceps and shear wave velocity of biceps were decreased in electroacupuncture group compared with before treatment,while KPPS score,VAS score,UPDRS Ⅱ,UPDRS Ⅲ and modified Ashworth score were decreased,with statistical significance(Psignificance in control group(P>0.05).After treatment,KPPS score,VAS score,UPDRS Ⅱ and UPDRS Ⅲ,MAS,HAMD score,Young's modulus of biceps and shear wave velocity in electroacupuncture group were significantly lower than those in control group(Psis showed that KPPS score was positively correl

NQO1 Mediates Lenvatinib Resistance by Regulating ROS-induced Apoptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

The effect of lanthanum on the characteristics of inclusions in the slab of non-oriented electrical steels was investigated through industrial trials and thermodynamic *** number,size,and chemical composition of inclusions in the surface,one-quarter of thickness and the center of slabs with and without lanthanum addition were statistically analyzed using an automatic inclusion analysis *** the lanthanum-free slab,inclusions were predominately ***_(2)O_(3),MgO,and AlN as well as a small number of Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO-CaO and *** number densities of oxide inclusions and AlN decreased from the surface to the center of the slab,which was ascribed to the difference in cooling intensity during the continuous *** the steel with lanthanum addition,inclusions were modified into LaAlO_(3) and La_(2)O_(2)S and gradually transformed into dual-phase MgO-La_(2)S3 with an increasing distance from the slab surface due to the reaction between the lanthanum-containing inclusion and the steel *** uneven distribution of oxide inclusions along the thickness of the slab was eliminated in the lanthanum-bearing slab because the dissolved oxygen was remarkably decreased by ***-bearing inclusions were more likely to agglomerate AlN by inducing the heterogeneous nucleation of AlN on their surface,while small-size ***_(2)O_(3) inclusions hardly showed a coarsening effect on the size of AlN.

CD87-targeted BiTE and CAR-T cells potently inhibit invasive nonfunctional pituitary adenomas

Recently,bispecific T-cell engagers(BiTEs)and chimeric antigen receptor-modified T cells(CAR-Ts)have been shown to have high therapeutic efficacy in hematological ***87 is highly expressed in solid tumors with an oncogenic *** assess their cytotoxic effects on invasive nonfunctioning pituitary adenomas(iNFPAs),we first examined CD87 expression and its effects on the metabolism of iNFPA *** generated CD87-specific BiTE and CAR/IL-12 T cells,and their cytotoxic effects on iNFPAs cells and in mouse models were ***87 had high expression in i NFPA tissue and cell samples but was undetected in noncancerous brain ***87×CD3 BiTE and CD87 CAR/IL-12 T-cells showed antigenic specificity and exerted satisfactory cytotoxic effects,decreasing tumor cell proliferation in vitro and reducing existing tumors in experimental ***,the above findings suggest that CD87 is a promising target for the immunotherapeutic management of iNFPAs using anti-CD87 BiTE and CD87-specific CAR/IL-12 T cells.

Three-dimensional porous In_(2)O_(3) arrays for self-powered transparent solar-blind photodetectors with high responsivity and excellent spectral selectivity

Transparent solar-blind ultraviolet photodetectors(SBUV PDs)have extensive applications in versatile scenarios,such as optical ***,it is still challenging to simultaneously achieve high responsivity,high transparency,and satisfying self-powered ***,we demonstrated high-performance,transparent,and self-powered photoelectrochemical-type(PEC)SBUV PDs based on vertically grown ultrathin In_(2)O_(3) nanosheet arrays(NAs)with a three-dimensional(3D)porous *** 3D porous structure simultaneously improves the transmittance in the visible light region,accelerates interfacial reaction kinetics,and promotes photogenerated carrier *** performance of In_(2)O_(3) NAs photoanodes exceeds most reported self-powered PEC SBUV PDs,exhibiting a high transmittance of approximately 80%in the visible light region,a high responsivity of 86.15 mA/W for 254 nm light irradiation,a fast response speed of 15/18 ms,and good multicycle *** In_(2)O_(3) NAs also show excellent spectral selectivity with an ultrahigh solar-blind rejection ratio of 1319.30,attributed to the quantum confinement effect induced by the ultrathin feature(2-3 nm).Furthermore,In_(2)O_(3) NAs photoanodes show good capability in underwater optical *** work demonstrated that a 3D porous structure is a powerful strategy to synchronously achieve high responsivity and transparency and provides a new perspective for designing high-performance,transparent,and self-powered PEC SBUV PDs.

Histological Features of Uterine Myometrial Dysfunction:Possible Involvement of Localized Inflammation

Objective The latest perspective suggests that elevated levels of inflammation and cytokines are implicated in atonic postpartum ***(LPS)has been widely used to induce inflammation in animal ***,this study aimed to induce uterine inflammation using LPS to investigate whether local inflammation triggers dysfunction and atrophy in the myometrium,as well as the potential underlying molecular mechanisms *** In vivo,an animal model was established by intraperitoneal injection of 300μg/kg LPS in rats on gestational day ***-eosin(H&E)staining and Masson staining were employed to determine morphological changes in the rat uterine smooth ***-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect inflammatory ***,tissue fluorescence,and Western blotting were conducted to assess the expression levels of the uterine contraction-related proteins Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)and the nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)signaling *** vitro,human uterine smooth muscle cells(HUtSMCs)were exposed to 2μg/mL LPS to further elucidate the involvement of the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in LPS-mediated *** In this study,LPS induced uterine myometrial dysfunction in rats,leading to a disorganized arrangement,a significant increase in collagen fiber deposition,and widespread infiltration of inflammatory *** both in vivo animal models and in vitro HUtSMCs,LPS elevated IL-6,IL-1β,and TNF-αlevels while concurrently suppressing the expression of connexin 43(Cx43)and oxytocin receptor(OXTR).Mechanistically,the LPS-treated group exhibited TLR4 activation,and the phosphorylation levels of p65 and IκBαwere notably *** LPS triggered the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway,inducing an inflammatory response in the myometrium and leading to uterine myometrial dysfunction and uterine atony.

Toward understanding the cross-linking from molecular chains to aggregates by engineering terminals of supramolecular hyperbranched polysiloxane

Crosslinking thermosets with hyperbranched polymers confers them superior comprehensive ***,it still remains a further understanding of polymer crosslinking from the molecular chains to the role of *** this study,three hyperbranched polysiloxane structures(HBPsi-R)are synthesized as model macromolecules,each featuring distinct terminal groups(R denotes amino,epoxy,and vinyl groups)while similar molecular backbone(si-O-C).These structures were subsequently copolymerized with epoxy monomers to construct interpenetrating HBPsi-R/epoxy/anhydride co-polymer *** spatial molecular configuration and flexible si-O-C branches of HBPsi-R endow them with remarkable reinforcement and toughening ***,an optimum impact strength of 28.9 kJ mol^(−1) is achieved with a mere 3%loading of HBPsi-V,nearly three times that of the native epoxy(12.9 kJ mol^(−1)).By contrasting the terminal effects,the aggregation states and crosslinking modes were proposed,thus clarifying the supramolecular-dominant aggregation mechanism and covalent-dominant dispersion mechanism,which influences the resulting material *** work underscores the significance of aggregate science in comprehending polymer crosslinking and provides theoretical insights for tailoring material properties at a refined molecular level in the field of polymer science.

Correlation between pre-anesthesia anxiety and emergence agitation in non-small cell lung cancer surgery patients
