Globally,most organic-rich shales are deposited with volcanic ash *** ash,a source for many sedimentary basins,can affect the sedimentary water environment,alter the primary productivity,and preserve the organic matter(OM)through physical,chemical,and biological *** an increasing number of breakthroughs in shale oil exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin in recent years,less attention has been paid to the crucial role of volcanic impact especially its influence on the OM enrichment and hydrocarbon ***,we studied the petrology,mineralogy,and geochemical characteristics of the organic-rich shale in the upper submember of the fourth member(Es_(4)^(1))and the lower submember of the third member(Es_(3)^(3))of the Shahejie Formation,aiming to better understand the volcanic impact on organic-rich shale *** results show that total organic carbon is higher in the upper shale intervals rich in volcanic ash with enriched light rare earth elements and moderate Eu *** indicates that volcanism promoted OM formation before or after the *** positive correlation between Eu/Eu*and Post-Archean Australian Shale indicates hydrothermal activity before the volcanic *** plane graph of the hydrocarbon-generating intensity(S1+S2)suggests that the heat released by volcanism promoted hydrocarbon ***,the nutrients carried by volcanic ash promoted biological blooms during Es_(4)^(1 )and Es_(3)^(3) deposition,yielding a high primary *** blooms consume large amounts of oxygen and form anoxic environments conducive to the burial and preservation of ***,this study helps to further understand the organic-inorganic interactions caused by typical geological events and provides a guide for the next step of shale oil exploration and development in other lacustrine basins in China.

The development of a coal-based synthetic route to produce benzene polycarboxylic acids(BPCAs)is of great importance for the highly efficient utilization of *** this paper,aqueous NaCl^(-)electrolytic system was used to oxidize Zhaotong lignite to prepare *** electrochemical oxidation of lignite in aqueous NaCl solution could produce more BPCAs than that in aqueous NaOH *** aqueous NaCl electrolytic system could in-suit produce a stable OCl^(-),which was synthesized by the combination reaction between Cl_(2)and OH􀀀generated in the anode or cathode,*** in-suit produced OCl^(-)would degrade the organic structures of the lignite dispersing in the electrolyte to generate *** formation of BPCAs could be greatly affected by current density,electrolysis time and the addition amount of NaCl in the electrolytic system,which resulted from that the factors played an important role in the generation of OCl^(-).The coal related model compounds including anthracene and phenanthrene were used to investigate the electrochemical oxidation mechanism of the *** results indicated that the aromatic ring structures in the lignite were attacked by O_(2)•^(-)from the OCl^(-)to afford BPCAs.

As the capacity of lithium-ion batteries gradually reaches its limit,the high-capacity characteristics of lithium metal batteries(LMBs)make them one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage devices ***,uncontrolled lithium dendrite growth can cause poor cell performance and severe safety issues,seriously slowing down the commercialization of *** metals(TMs)are lithiophilic materials that effectively stabilize lithium metal anode(LMA)and inhibit dendrite ***,the growth of lithium dendrites and the performance of TMs in stabilizing lithium metals are comprehensively discussed in this ***,we elucidated the formation mechanisms of lithium dendrite,and we put forward several strategies to suppress lithium dendrite formation based on the understanding of these ***,the application of TMs and their compounds to stabilize LMA and their corresponding mechanisms are comprehensively ***,further research perspectives of TMs in stabilizing LMA are emphasized in detail.

Regulatory sequences and transposable elements(TEs)account for a large proportion of the genomic sequences of species;however,their roles in gene transcription,especially tissue-specific expression,remain largely *** serve as an excellent animal model for studying genomic sequence biology due to the extensive diversity among their wild and domesticated ***,we conducted an integrated analysis using H3K27ac ChIP-seq,H3K4me3 ChIP-seq,and RNA-seq data from 10 different tissues of seven fetuses and eight closely related adult *** aimed to annotate the regulatory elements and TEs to elucidate their associations with histone modifications and mRNA expression across different tissues and developmental *** on correlation analysis between mRNA expression and H3K27ac and H3K4me3 peak activity,results indicated that H3K27ac exhibited stronger associations with gene expression than ***,1.45%of TEs overlapped with either the H3K27ac or H3K4me3 peaks,with the majority displaying tissue-specific ***,a TE subfamily(LTR4C_SS),containing binding motifs for siX1 and siX4,showed specific enrichment in the H3K27ac peaks of the adult and fetal ***-seq analysis also revealed widespread expression of TEs in the exons or promoters of genes,including 4688 TE-containing transcripts with distinct development stage-specific and tissue-specific *** note,1967 TE-containing transcripts were enriched in the *** identified a long terminal repeat(LTR),MLT1F1,acting as a testis-specific alternative promoter in SRPK2(a cell cycle-related protein kinase)in our pig *** element was also conserved in humans and mice,suggesting either an ancient integration of TEs in genes specifically expressed in the testes or parallel evolutionary ***,our findings demonstrate that TEs are deeply embedded in the genome and exhibit important tissue-specific biological functions,particularly in the reproductive

Due to the extremely low permeability of shale formations,the combination of horizontal well and volume fracturing has been proposed as an effective technique to improve the production of Dagang continental shale oil *** on the flow material balance method(FMB)and straight-line analysis(SLA)method,the stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)and drainage volume are determined to identify the flow regimes of the seepage mechanism of shale oil *** resolve the challenges of multi-scaled flow regimes and bottom hole pressure(BHP)variation before and after pumping in shale oil wells,a multi-linear analytical flow model was established to predict the future production and the final expected ultimate recoverable oil(EURo)after fitting the historical production *** on the results,it can be concluded that the flow regime of a shale oil well in production can be divided into two stages consisting of linear flow within SRV and composite flow from the un-stimulated area to *** effects of fracturing operation parameters,such as fracturing fluid volume and sand/liquid ratio,on shale oil productivity,are analyzed,and insightful suggestions are drawn for the future development of this pay zone.
