Using the reduced graphene oxide（rGO） as a saturable absorber（SA） in an Er-doped fiber（EDF） laser cavity,we obtain the Q-switching operation. The rGO SA is prepared by depositing the GO on fluorine mica（FM） using the thermal reduction method. The modulation depth of rGO/FM is measured to be 3.2%. By incorporating the rGO/FM film into the EDF laser cavity, we obtain stable Q-switched pulses. The shortest pulse duration is3.53 μs, and the maximum single pulse energy is 48.19 nJ. The long-term stability of working is well *** experimental results show that the rGO possesses potential photonics applications.

We demonstrate a nanosecond mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser （EDFL） based on a reduced graphene oxide （RGO） saturable absorber （SA）. The RGO SA is prepared by depositing the graphene oxide （GO） on fluorine mica through thermal reduction of GO. A scanning electron microscope （SEM）, Raman spectrometer, and x-ray photoelectron spec- troscopy （XPS） are adopted to analyze the RGO characteristics. The results show that the reduction degree of graphene oxide is very high. By embedding the RGO SA into the EDFL cavity, a stable mode-locked fiber laser is achieved with a central wavelength of 1567.29 nm and repetition rate of 12.66 MHz. The maximum output power and the minimum pulse duration are measured to be 18.22 mW and 1.38 ns respectively. As far as we know, the maximum output power of 18.22 mW is higher than those of other nanosecond mode-locked oscillators reported. Such a nanosecond pulse duration and megahertz repetition rate make this mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser a suitable seed oscillator for high-power applications and chirped pulse amplifications.

The carboxyl-functionalized graphene oxide(GO-COOH)is a kind of unique two-dimensional(2 D)material and possesses excellent nonlinear saturable absorption property and high *** this paper,we prepare saturable absorber(SA)device by depositing GO-COOH nanosheets aqueous solution on a D-shaped *** modulation depth(MD)and saturable intensity of the SA are measured to be 9.6%and 19 MW/cm^(2),*** inserting the SA into the erbium-doped fiber(EDF)laser,a passively mode-locked EDF laser has been achieved with the spectrum center wavelength of 1562.76 *** pulse duration,repetition rate,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)are 500 fs,14.79 MHz,and 80 dB,*** maximum average output power is measured to be 3.85 *** results indicate that the GO-COOH nanosheets SA can be used as a promising mode locker for the generation of ultrashort pulses.

The terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide dataset consisting of 123310Be measurements of fluvial sediment samples across the Asian mountain belts is used to constrain the influence of climate,tectonics and topography on Earth-surface denudation processes.10Be-derived basin-wide denudation rates were recalculated using a Monte Carlo simulation approach that relied on pixel-by-pixel production *** rates derived span four orders of magnitude,from 7.4±0.7 mm kyr-1（1σ;Central Tibetan Plateau） to 9,646744+777mm kyr-1（1σ;Southern Tibetan Plateau）,with a median of 186 mm *** our results with the traditional basin-wide production rate scaling model using a centroid coordinate and mean elevation,suggests that 96.6%of production rates will be underestimated using the latter method,especially for basins with a large *** bias between both methods reaches as large as 40%,caused by basin hypsometry and the nonlinear scaling of production rate with elevation and *** of the correlations between uniformly recalculated denudation rates and tectonics,climate,topography and rock lithology will facilitate the extrapolation of denudation rates in unknown basins using available *** the perspective of local scales,precipitation coupled with neotectonics-driven landslides is likely the most influential factor in subtropical Taiwan Island,while topography primarily constrains surface denudation rates in the eastern Tibetan Plateau within a narrow range of *** highland regions with glacier coverage,such as the Pamir,central and southern Tibetan Plateau high denudation rates are affected by glaciation,whereas lower precipitation and high erosion base level may limit river incision and evolving relief in the Central Tibetan *** contrast to local-scale findings highlighting a dominant factor constraining denudation rate,our large-scale quantitative analyses across the Asian mountain belts finds that （1） topographic metrics including

The grain size of TiAl alloy castings prepared by traditional casting process is coarse, thus showing poor mechanical properties. In this study, a new type of high performance Ti-46Al alloy tube prepared by vacuum centrifugal casting technology was introduced. This research comprehensively examined the influence of pouring time on the microstructure and mechanical performance of the castings, employing both experimental approaches and ProCast simulation methodologies. The findings indicate that prolonging the pouring time facilitates a microstructural evolution from coarse columnar grains to refined equiaxed grains. Under the condition of pouring temperature of 1,600 °C, rotation speed of 800 r·min-1and pouring time of 6 s, the tensile strength of Ti-46Al alloy at room temperature reaches 650 MPa, and the tensile strength at 800 °C reaches 705 MPa, which is significantly higher than that of traditional as-cast Ti-Al alloy.

Large-area flexible organic photovoltaic（OPV） modules are challenging to achieve high power conversion efficiency（PCE）.Electrical shunts or shortages generally occur in large-area OPV modules due to the ultrathin（100–200 nm） and soft active layers. Improving the surface smoothness of bottom transparent electrode will be able to suppress the shunts and shortages. In this work, we report a method to fabricate smooth and flexible transparent electrodes based on thin silver film, and further to fabricate efficient large-area flexible OPV modules. The fabricated thin silver transparent electrodes simultaneously have high conductivity, high optical transmittance, good mechanical flexibility and low surface roughness. Humidity exposure（h.e.）treatment on MoO3effectively facilitates the continuous growth of the thin transparent silver electrode. 6 nm silver film on MoO3（h.e.） on plastic substrate shows a transmittance up to 89%, a sheet resistance of 15 Ω/sq, and a low surface roughness with a rootmean-square value of 0.276 nm. Furthermore, 52-cm2flexible organic solar modules（15 subcells） showed a certified PCE of12.66%. Furthermore, a 1350 cm2flexible component assembled by 25 pieces of 52–55 cm2modules showed certified PCE of12.10% with an open-circuit voltage of 62.85 V.
