Review of Baduanjin and resistance exercise for the mental health of patients with hematologic malignancies

Patients with hematological tumors experience physical and psychological stress,and negative psychological ***,an emerging psychological rehabil-itation method combined with resistance exercise,has received widespread *** study reviews the current status of the application of Baduanjin combined with resistance exercise in improving the negative psychological state of patients with hematological tumors and discusses its problems and *** a literature review and comprehensive analysis,the application of Baduanjin and resistance exercise in the psychological rehabilitation of patients with hematological tumors was identified and *** results showed that Baduanjin with resistance exercise had a positive effect on improving negative psychological states of patients with hematological tumors,which can alleviate anxiety,depression,and other adverse emotions,and improve quality of ***,there is a lack of unified and standardized exercise intervention programs for practical application,and patient participation and compliance must be *** combined with resistance exercise can potentially improve the negative psychological status of patients with hematological tumors;however,it is still necessary to further standardize and improve the exercise program improving patient participation and *** studies should strengthen theoretical exploration and empirical research,providing more effective psychological rehabilitation strategies for patients with hematological tumors.

Risk factors of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy and central retinal artery occlusion

AIM:To investigate the difference in risk factors between non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy(NAION)and central retinal artery occlusion(CRAO)and develop a predictive diagnostic ***:The study included 37 patients with monocular NAION,20 with monocular CRAO,and 24 with ***,age,and systemic diseases were *** routine,lipids,hemorheology,carotid and brachial artery doppler ultrasound,and echocardiography were *** optic disc area,cup area,and cup-to-disc ratio(C/D)of the unaffected eye in the NAION and CRAO group and the right eye in the hypertension group were ***:The carotid artery intimal medial thickness(C-IMT)of the affected side of the CRAO group was thicker(P=0.039)and its flow-mediated dilation(FMD)was lower(P=0.049)than the NAION *** with hypertension patients,NAION patients had higher whole blood reduced viscosity low-shear(WBRV-L)and erythrocyte aggregation index(EAI;P=0.045,0.037),and CRAO patients had higher index of rigidity of erythrocyte(IR)and erythrocyte deformation index(EDI;P=0.004,0.001).The optic cup and the C/D of the NAION group were smaller than the other two groups(Psitivity(85.6%),which was highly related to hypertension,the C-IMT of the affected side,FMD,platelet(PLT),EAI,and C/***:CRAO patients show thicker C-IMT and worse endothelial function than *** and CRAO may be related to abnormal hemorheology.A small cup and small C/D may be involved in *** diagnostic nomogram can be used to preliminarily identify NAION and CRAO.

Effect of Ti Particles on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AZ91 Magnesium Matrix Composites

Spherical micro-Ti particle(TiP)-reinforced AZ91 magnesium alloy composites were fabricated by semi-solid stirring assisted ultrasonic vibration,which were then subjected to hot *** microstructure results showed that the addition of Ti particles refined the grain size and decreased the texture intensity of the as-extruded AZ91 *** Al3Ti phase with a thickness of 100 nm formed at the Ti/Mg interface,which had a non-coherent relationship with the magnesium *** as-extruded 1 vol.%TiP/AZ91 composite exhibited the best comprehensive mechanical properties,with yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation at break of 366 MPa,456 MPa,and 14.6%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the AZ91 ***,the addition of Ti particles can improve the strength and ductility of the AZ91 alloy,demonstrating the value of magnesium matrix composites for commercial applications.

Molybdenum and cadmium co-induce necroptosis through Th1/Th2 imbalance-mediated endoplasmic reticulum stress in duck ovaries

Cadmium(Cd)and excess molybdenum(Mo)pose serious threats to animal *** previous study has determined that Cd and/or Mo exposure can cause ovarian damage of ducks,while the specific mechanism is still *** further investigate the toxic mechanism of Cd and Mo co-exposure in the ovary,forty 8-day-old female ducks were randomly allocated into four groups for 16 weeks,and the doses of Cd and Mo in basic diet per kg were as follows:control group,Mo group(100 mg Mo),Cd group(4 mg Cd),and Mo+Cd group(100 mg Mo+4 mg Cd).Cadmium sulfate 8/3-hydrate(CdSO_(4)·8/3H_(2)O)and hexaammonium molybdate((NH_(4))_(6)Mo_(7)O_(24)·4H_(2)O)were the origins of Cd and Mo,*** the 16th week of the experiment,all ovary tissues were collected for the detection of related *** data indicated that Mo and/or Cd induced trace element disorders and Th1/Th2 balance to divert toward Th1 in the ovary,which activated endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress and then provoked necroptosis through triggering RIPK1/RIPK3/MLKL signaling pathway,and eventually caused ovarian pathological injuries and necroptosis *** alterations of above indicators were most apparent in the joint *** all,this research illustrates that Mo and/or Cd exposure can initiate necroptosis through Th1/Th2 imbalance-modulated ER stress in duck ovaries,and Mo and Cd combined exposure aggravates ovarian *** research explores the molecular mechanism of necroptosis caused by Mo and/or Cd,which reveals that ER stress attenuation may be a therapeutic target to alleviate necroptosis.

Movement of ACC oxidase 3 mRNA from seeds to flesh promotes fruit ripening in apple

Xenia,the phenomenon in which the pollen genotype directly affects the phenotypic characteristics of maternal tissues(i.e.,fruit ripening),has applications in crop production and ***,the underlying molecular mechanism has yet to be ***,we investigated whether mobile mRNAs from the pollen affect the ripening and quality-related characteristics of the fruit using cross-pollination between distinct Malus domestica(apple)*** demonstrated that hundreds of mobile mRNAs originating fromthe seeds are deliveredto *** themovementof one of these mRNAs,AcC oxidase 3(MdAco3),is coordinated with fruit *** acid treatment,which can cause plasmodesmal closure,blocks MdAcO3 movement,indicating that MdAcO3 transcripts may move through the *** assess the role of mobile MdAcO3 transcripts in apple fruit,we created MdACO3-GFP-expressing apple seeds using MdACO3-GFP-overexpressing pollen for pollination and showed that MdACO3 transcripts in the transgenic seeds move to the flesh,where they promote fruit ***,we demonstrated that MdAco3 can be transported from the seeds to fruit in the fleshy-fruited species tomato and *** results underscore the potential of mobile mRNAs from seeds to influence fruit characteristics,providing an explanation for the xenia ***,our findings highlight the feasibility of leveraging diverse pollen genomic resources,without resorting to genome editing,to improve fruitquality.

High-performance si/VO_(2)-nanorod heterojunction photodetector based on photothermoelectric effect for detecting human radiation

As a typical candidate of optoelectronic materials,vanadium dioxide(VO_(2))has wide applications in photodetectors(PDs),but is still challenging in largely enhancing the photodetecting performance for low-power human ***,high-performance si/VO_(2)nanorods(NRs)heterojunction PDs based on the photothermoelectric(PTE)effect are *** uniform VO_(2)-NRs array films were deposited on si by using magnetron sputtering technique,and a si/VO_(2)heterojunctions were *** device exhibits a four-stage photoresponse and broadband photoresponse from ultraviolet to long-wavelength *** from the unique nanorods structure and the strong PTE effect,the fabricated device exhibits a large enhancement of the photodetecting performance,showing an ultrahigh photodetectivity of 1.6×10^(13)Jones and ultrafast response rates with a risingedge time of~65.0μs,three orders of magnitude higher than other VO_(2)-based ***,the device exhibits unique abilities to detect human radiation even when the human fingers are far away from the device surface up to 10.0 ***,the fabricated si/VO_(2)devices can also be applied as breath sensors to distinguish different breathing *** results supply an effective route to design high-performance photodetectors toward detecting human thermal radiation and respiration.

BMSC-derived Exosomes Ameliorate Peritoneal Dialysis-associated Peritoneal Fibrosis via the Mir-27a-3p/TP53 Pathway

With the escalation of industrialization and population growth,energy and clean water shortages pose an unprecedented threat to sustainable ***,it is imperative to develop green and effective strategies to address these *** this context,solar-driven interfacial water evaporation(siWE)has emerged as a highly promising low-carbon solution to the water-energy nexus[1].By locating the evaporator at airwater interfaces,heat localization can be achieved,leading to high-efficient water evaporation and freshwater *** significantly,taking advantage of the special conditions during siWE has opened numerous opportunities for generation of extra electrical power[2,3].Throughout the processes of siWE,various elements such as photons,waves,capillary flow,evaporation,vapor motions,condensation,and droplet sliding can all be harnessed to produce electricity through photovoltaic,thermoelectric,thermogalvanic,pyroelectric,piezoelectric,triboelectricity and hydrovoltaic effects[3].Extensive research efforts have provided valuable insights for the development of water-electricity cogeneration(WEG)hybrid systems.

Winter extreme precipitation over the Tibetan Plateau influenced by Arctic sea ice on interdecadal timescale

The Tibetan Plateau(TP)and the Arctic are the most sensitive regions to global climate ***,the interdecadal varibility of winter extreme precipitation over the TP and its linkage with Arctic sea ice are still *** this study,the characteristics and mechisnems of the TP extreme precipitation(TPEP)influenced by Arctic sea ice on interdecadal timescale are studied based on the daily precipitation,monthly sea ice concentration and ERA5 reanalysis data from 1980 to *** found that the dominant mode of the TPEP in winter mostly exhibits a uniform spatial variation on the interdecadal timescale,with an opposite weak variation in the southeastern TP,and the Arctic sea ice concentration(siC)before 2002 are larger than that after *** interdecadal variation of TPEP is affected by two teleconnection wave trains regulated by the Barents and Kara Sea *** the light ice years,a remarkable positive geopotential height(HGT)anomaly appears over the Barents-Kara Sea and a remarkable negative HGT anomaly is located over the Lake *** wave trains originating over the Barents-Kara Sea can be *** southern branch forms a wave train through the North Atlantic along the subtropical westerly jet stream,showing a‘+-+-+'pattern of HGT anomalies from Arctic to the *** HGT anomaly controls the western TP,which creates dynamic and water vapor conditions for the *** northern branch forms a wave train through the Lake Baikal and the southeast of the TP,showing a‘+-+'HGT anomaly *** HGT anomaly controls the southeastern TP,which is not conducive to precipitation in the *** the siC in the Barents-Kara Sea increases,the situation is *** above analysis also reveals the reason for the difference in the east-west distribution of the TPEP.
