Viscosity and structure relationship with equimolar substitution of CaO with MgO in the CaO–MgO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)slag melts

Currently,the Al_(2)O_(3)content in the high-alumina slag systems within blast furnaces is generally limited to 16wt%–18.5wt%,making it challenging to overcome this *** most studies that concentrated on managing the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3)ratio or basicity,this paper explored the effect of equimolar substitution of MgO for CaO on the viscosity and structure of a high-alumina CaO-MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)slag system,providing theoretical guidance and data to facilitate the application of high-alumina *** results revealed that the viscosity first decreased and then increased with higher MgO substitution,reaching a minimum at 15mol%MgO *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)results found that the depths of the troughs representing[SiO_(4)]tetrahedra,[AlO_(4)]tetrahedra,and Si-O-Al bending became progressively deeper with increased MgO *** of the Raman spectra showed that the average number of bridging oxygens per Si atom and the X_(Q^(3))/X_(Q^(2))(X_(Q^(i))is the molar fraction of Q^(i) unit,and i is the number of bridging oxygens in a[SiO_(4)]tetrahedral unit)ratio increased from 2.30 and 1.02 to 2.52 and 2.14,respectively,indicating a progressive polymerization of the silicate structure.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results highlighted that non-bridging oxygen content decreased from 77.97mol% to 63.41mol% with increasing MgO concentration,whereas bridging oxygen and free oxygen contents *** analysis demonstrated a gradual increase in the polymerization degree of the tetrahedral structure with the increase in MgO ***,bond strength is another important factor affecting the slag *** occurrence of a viscosity minimum can be attributed to the complex evolution of bond strengths of non-bridging oxygens generated during depolymerization of the[SiO_(4)]and[AlO_(4)]tetrahedral structures by CaO and MgO.

The E3 ubiquitin ligase,carboxyl terminus of heat shock protein 70(Hsp70)interacting protein(CHIP),also functions as a co-chaperone and plays a crucial role in the protein quality control *** this study,we aimed to investigate the neuroprotective effect of overexpressed CHIP on Alzheimer’s *** used an adeno-associated virus vector that can cross the blood-brain barrier to mediate CHIP overexpression in APP/PS1 mouse *** overexpression significantly ameliorated the performance of APP/PS1 mice in the Morris water maze and nest building tests,reduced amyloid-βplaques,and decreased the expression of both amyloid-βand phosphorylated *** also alleviated the concentration of microglia and astrocytes around *** APP/PS1 mice of a younger age,CHIP overexpression promoted an increase in ADAM10 expression and inhibitedβ-site APP cleaving enzyme 1,insulin degrading enzyme,and neprilysin *** of HSP70 and HSP40,which have functional relevance to CHIP,were also *** nuclei transcriptome sequencing in the hippocampus of CHIP overexpressed mice showed that the lysosomal pathway and oligodendrocyte-related biological processes were up-regulated,which may also reflect a potential mechanism for the neuroprotective effect of *** research shows that CHIP effectively reduces the behavior and pathological manifestations of APP/PS1 ***,overexpression of CHIP could be a beneficial approach for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

An Almost Sure Result on Approximation of Homogeneous Random Field from Local Averages

The problem of approximation of homogeneous random field from asymmetric local average sampling is considered in this paper. As a general sampling result, a sufficient condition is obtained to ensure the homogeneous random field be approximated from local averages with probability 1, which extended the result for weak sense stochastic process from local averages to homogeneous random field.

Since the discovery of HfO2-based ferroelectric （FE） materials in 2011,considerable advancements have been made in material preparation,mechanism research,and device realization [1].Consequently,these materials are now regarded as leading candidates for embedded non-volatile memory（eNVM）.Beyond eNVM applications,recent studies have demonstrated that memory devices with antiferroelectric（AFE） films can achieve high response speeds,low latency,and reduced power consumption while maintaining excellent endurance characteristics [2,3].Additionally,the typical double hysteresis loops and multiple non-overlapping polarization current peaks of AFE films offer a novel approach to designing multistate ***,in order to further promote the application of high storage density AFE,an AFRAM electronic design automation （EDA） model must be developed,and it has yet to be proposed.

A POSTERIORI ESTIMATOR OF NONCONFORMING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR FOURTH ORDER ELLIPTIC PERTURBATION PROBLEMS

In this paper, we consider the nonconforming finite element approximations of fourth order elliptic perturbation problems in two dimensions. We present an a posteriori error estimator under certain conditions, and give an h-version adaptive algorithm based on the error estimation. The local behavior of the estimator is analyzed as well. This estimator works for several nonconforming methods, such as the modified Morley method and the modified Zienkiewicz method, and under some assumptions, it is an optimal one. Numerical examples are reported, with a linear stationary Cahn-HiUiard-type equation as a model problem.

Extractive distillation of cycloalkane monomers from the direct coal liquefaction fraction

Separating monomeric cycloalkanes from naphtha obtained from direct coal liquefaction not only facilitates the valuable utilization of naphtha but also holds potential for addressing China's domestic chemical feedstock market demand for these compounds. In extractive distillation processes of naphtha, relative volatility serves as a crucial parameter for extractant selection. However, determining relative volatility through conventional vapor-liquid equilibrium experiments for extractant selection proves challenging due to the complexity of naphtha's compound composition. To address this challenge, a prediction model for the relative volatility of n-heptane/methylcyclohexane in various extractants has been developed using machine-learning quantitative structure-property relationship methods. The model enables rapid and cost-effective extractant selection. The statistical analysis of the model revealed favorable performance indicators, including a coefficient of determination of 0.88, cross-validation coefficient of 0.94, and root mean square error of 0.02. Factors such as alpha, EHOMO, rho, and logPoct/water collectively influence relative volatility. Analysis of standardized coefficients in the multivariate linear regression equation identified density as the primary factor affecting the relative volatility of n-heptane/methylcyclohexane in the different extractants. Extractants with higher densities, devoid of branched chains, exhibited increased relative volatility compared to their counterparts with branched chains. Subsequently, the process of separating cycloalkane monomers from direct coal liquefaction products via extractive distillation was optimized using Aspen Plus software, achieving purities exceeding 0.99 and yields exceeding 0.90 for cyclohexane and methylcyclohexane monomers.
