BACKGROUND Intervertebral disc degeneration(IVDD)is the leading cause of lower back *** degeneration is characterized by reduced cellularity and decreased production of extracellular matrix(ECM).Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have been envisioned as a promising treatment for degenerative ***-based therapy using ECM-producing chondrogenic derivatives of MSCs has the potential to restore the functionality of the intervertebral disc(IVD).AIM To investigate the potential of chondrogenic transcription factors to promote differentiation of human umbilical cord MSCs into chondrocytes,and to assess their therapeutic potential in IVD *** MSCs were isolated and characterized morphologically and immunologically by the expression of specific *** were then transfected with Sox-9 and Six-1 transcription factors to direct differentiation and were assessed for chondrogenic lineage based on the expression of specific *** differentiated MSCs were implanted in the rat model of *** regenerative potential of transplanted cells was investigated using histochemical and molecular analyses of *** Isolated cells showed fibroblast-like morphology and expressed CD105,CD90,CD73,CD29,and Vimentin but not CD45 *** of Sox-9 and Six-1 greatly enhanced the gene expression of transforming growth factor beta-1 gene,BMP,Sox-9,Six-1,and Aggrecan,and protein expression of Sox-9 and *** implanted cells integrated,survived,and homed in the degenerated intervertebral *** grading showed that the transfected MSCs regenerated the IVD and restored normal *** Genetically modified MSCs accelerate cartilage regeneration,providing a unique opportunity and impetus for stem cell-based therapeutic approach for degenerative disc diseases.

This work aims to study the nonlinear ordinary differential equations(ODEs)system of magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)past over an inclined plate using Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation neural networks(LMBNNs).The stochastic procedures LMBNNs are provided with three categories of sample statistics,testing,training,and *** nonlinear MHD system past over an inclined plate is divided into three profiles,dimensionless momentum,species(salinity),and energy(heat)*** data is applied 15%,10%,and 75%for validation,testing,and training to solve the nonlinear system of MHD past over an inclined plate.A reference data set is designed to compare the obtained and proposed solutions for the MHD *** plots of the absolute error(AE)are provided to check the accuracy and precision of the considered nonlinear system of *** obtained numerical solutions of the nonlinear magnetohydrodynamic system have been considered to reduce the mean square error(MSE).For the capability,dependability,and aptitude of the stochastic LMBNNs procedure,the numerical performances are provided to authenticate the relative arrangements of MSE,error histograms(EHs),state transitions(STs),correlation,and regression.

Coronavirus(COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2)is a novel viral infection that started in December 2019 and has erupted rapidly in more than 150 *** rapid spread of COVID-19 has caused a global health emergency and resulted in governments imposing lock-downs to stop its *** is a signiﬁ-cant increase in the number of patients infected,resulting in a lack of test resources and kits in most *** overcome this panicked state of affairs,researchers are looking forward to some effective solutions to overcome this situa-tion:one of the most common and effective methods is to examine the X-radiation(X-rays)and computed tomography(CT)images for detection of ***-ever,this method burdens the radiologist to examine each ***,to reduce the burden on the radiologist,an effective,robust and reliable detection system has been developed,which may assist the radiologist and medical specia-list in effective detecting of *** proposed a deep learning approach that uses readily available chest radio-graphs(chest X-rays)to diagnose COVID-19 *** proposed approach applied transfer learning to the Deep Convolutional Neural Network(DCNN)model,Inception-v4,for the automatic detection of COVID-19 infection from chest X-rays *** dataset used in this study contains 1504 chest X-ray images,504 images of COVID-19 infection,and 1000 normal images obtained from publicly available medical *** results showed that the proposed approach detected COVID-19 infection with an overall accuracy of 99.63%.

Metal cation exchanged silica gel for identification of cationic and nonionic surfactants with preliminary separation by thin layer chromatography

Silica gel impregnated with 1% aqueous solutions of different metal cations （Li^＋, Mg^2＋, Zn^2＋, Cu^2＋, Co^2＋, Ni^2＋, Ba^2＋and Th^4＋） has been used for the analysis of nonionic and cationic surfaetants using simple aqueous acetone as mobile phase system. Co^2＋ was found the most suitable impregnant for the mutual separation of nonionic surfactants （Brij-35 and Brij-57） and cationic from nonionic surfactants （tetmdecyltrimethylammonium bromide and Cween-20）. Zinc sulphate impregnation （Zn^2＋-silica gel） shows identical chromatographic behavior and these layers are useful to separate nonionic surfactant （Brij-35） from cationic surfaetant （cetylpyridinium chloride）. The mutual separation of B J-35 and B J-57 is not influenced by the presence of optical brightener in the sample.

Effect of age and gender on some blood biochemical parameters of apparently healthy small ruminants from Southern Punjab in Pakistan

Objective:To report and compare the hematological and serum biochemical profile of goal and sheep from Rahim Yar Khan district in Southern ***:One hundred and twenty blood samples(98 goat and 22 sheep) were collected and their blood glucose, hemoglobin and serum biochemical parameters,cholesterol,aspartate transaminase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) were determined by using *** were compared between goat and ***:It was observed that glucose(P=0.001),LDH(P=0.001) and ALT(P=0.001) concentrations differed significantly between sheep and *** studied parameters were compared between buck and goats and also between young goats(less than 12 months old) and adults(more than 12 months old).It was found that age and gender did not affect these hematological and serum biochemical parameters. Condusions:It can be concluded that sheep have overall higher values than goals for studied hematological and serum biochemical parameters.
