Rock physical characteristics of deep dolomite under complex geological conditions: A case study of 4th Member of Sinian Dengying Formation in the Sichuan Basin, China

The deep-ultra deep carbonate reservoir in China, commonly subjected to modification of multi-stage diagenesis, has extremely high heterogeneity. Conventional rock physics analysis cannot accurately identify the elastic responses of reservoir. Here, the rock physics properties of the dolomite from the 4th Member of the Sinian Dengying Formation are experimentally measured, and the change law of rock physics characteristics is investigated within the framework of the diagenetic processes by the analysis of the elastic and petrologic characteristics, pore structure, and sedimentary environments. The results show that the differentiated diagenesis results in different pore structure characteristics and microtexture characteristics of the rock. The microbial dolomite of the algal mound-grain beach facies is subjected to the contemporaneous microbial dolomitization and seepage-reflux dolomitization, penecontemporaneous selective dissolution, burial dolomitization, and hydrothermal dolomitization. The resultant crystalline dolomite is found with one main type of the dolomite crystal contact boundaries,and the dissolution pore is extensive development. The siliceous, muddy, and limy dolomite of the interbeach sea environment mainly experiences the weak capillary concentration dolomitization, intensive mechanical compaction-induced densification, and burial dolomitization. Such crystalline dolomite is observed with four types of contact boundaries, namely the dolomite contact, clay contact, quartz contact, and calcite contact boundaries, and porosity mostly attributed to residual primary inter-granular or crystalline pores. The samples with the same crystal boundary condition have consistent correlations between the compressional-and shear-wave velocities, and between the compressional-wave velocity and the velocity ratio. Contrasting strategies of optimizing carrier concentration in bulk InSe for enhanced thermoelectric performance

Indium selenide(InSe),as a wide-bandgap semiconductor,has received extensive attention in the flexible electronics field in recent years due to its exceptional plasticity and promising thermoelectric ***,the low carrier concentration severely limits its thermoelectric performance *** this work,we conducted contrasting strategies that can be employed to increase the carrier concentration of InSe,including bandgap narrowing and heterovalent ***,the carrier concentration initially increases as a result of the reduced bandgap upon Te alloying and then slightly decreases due to the weak electronegativity of *** Br doping realizes high carrier concentration by pushing the Fermi level into the conduction bands and activating the multiple *** the other hand,both Te and Br obviously suppress the thermal conductivity due to the point defect *** contrast,Br doping realizes a higher thermoelectric performance with a maximum ZT of~0.13 at 773 K benefiting from the better optimization of carrier *** work elucidates the strategies for enhancing carrier concentration at anion sites and demonstrates the high efficiency of halogen doping in ***,the carrier concentration of InSe is promising to be further optimized,and future work should focus on employing approaches such as cation doping or secondphase compositing.

Efficient hydrogenolysis of fructose to 1,2-propanediol over bifunctional Ru-WO_(x)-MgO_(y) catalysts under mild reaction conditions via enhancing the chemoselective cleavage of C-C bonds

Selective conversion of fructose to 1,2-propanediol(1,2-PDO)is considered as a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to petroleum-based processes,however,this approach still faces challenges associated with low efficiency and harsh reaction ***,we have successfully synthesized a novel bifunctional Ru-WO_(x)-MgO_(y) catalyst through a facile'one-pot'solvothermal ***,this catalyst exhibits exceptional catalytic performances in the conversion of fructose to 1,2-PDO under mild reaction *** yield of 1,2-PDO is up to 56.2%at 140°C for 4 h under an ultra-low hydrogen pressure of only 0.2 MPa,surpassing the reported results in recent literature(below 51%).Comprehensive characterizations and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the presence of oxygen vacancies in the Ru-WO_(x)-MgO_(y) catalyst,serving as active acidic sites,facilitates the chemoselective cleavage of C-C bonds in fructose,which leads to the generation of active intermediates and ultimately resulted in the high yield of 1,2-PDO.

Mechanism Exploration of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. for Liver Cancer Based on Aspartic Acid Identification in Metabolomics

ATAT1 deficiency enhances microglia/macrophage-mediated erythrophagocytosis and hematoma absorption following intracerebral hemorrhage

MIcroglia/macrophage-mediated erythrophagocytosis plays a crucial role in hematoma clearance after intracerebral *** cytoskeletal changes accompany ***,whether and how these changes are associated with microglia/macrophage-mediated erythrophagocytosis remain *** this study,we investigated the function of acetylatedα-tubulin,a stabilized microtubule form,in microglia/macrophage erythrophagocytosis after intracerebral hemorrhage both in vitro and in *** first assessed the function of acetylatedα-tubulin in erythrophagocytosis using primary DiO GFP-labeled red blood cells co-cultured with the BV2 microglia or RAW264.7 macrophage cell ***α-tubulin expression was significantly decreased in BV2 and RAW264.7 cells during ***,silencingα-tubulin acetyltransferase 1(ATAT1),a newly discoveredα-tubulin acetyltransferase,decreased Ac-α-tub levels and enhanced the erythrophagocytosis by BV2 and RAW264.7 *** with these findings,in ATAT1-/-mice,we observed increased ionized calcium binding adapter molecule 1(Iba1)and Perls-positive microglia/macrophage phagocytes of red blood cells in peri-hematoma and reduced hematoma volume in mice with intracerebral ***,knocking out ATAT1 alleviated neuronal apoptosis and pro-inflammatory cytokines and increased anti-inflammatory cytokines around the hematoma,ultimately improving neurological recovery of mice after intracerebral *** findings suggest that ATAT1 deficiency accelerates erythrophagocytosis by microglia/macrophages and hematoma absorption after intracerebral *** results provide novel insights into the mechanisms of hematoma clearance and suggest ATAT1 as a potential target for the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage.

A Novel Divide and Conquer Solution for Long-term Video Salient Object Detection

Recently,a new research trend in our video salient object detection(VSOD)research community has focused on enhancing the detection results via model self-fine-tuning using sparsely mined high-quality keyframes from the given *** such a learning scheme is generally effective,it has a critical limitation,i.e.,the model learned on sparse frames only possesses weak generalization *** situation could become worse on“long”videos since they tend to have intensive scene ***,in such videos,the keyframe information from a longer time span is less relevant to the previous,which could also cause learning conflict and deteriorate the model ***,the learning scheme is usually incapable of handling complex pattern *** solve this problem,we propose a divide-and-conquer framework,which can convert a complex problem domain into multiple simple ***,we devise a novel background consistency analysis(BCA)which effectively divides the mined frames into disjoint *** for each group,we assign an individual deep model on it to capture its key attribute during the fine-tuning *** the testing phase,we design a model-matching strategy,which could dynamically select the best-matched model from those fine-tuned ones to handle the given testing *** experiments show that our method can adapt severe background appearance variation coupling with object movement and obtain robust saliency detection compared with the previous scheme and the state-of-the-art methods.

The reservoir characteristics and their controlling factors of the sublacustrine fan in the Paleogene Dongying Formation, Bohai Sea,China

Sublacustrine fan is an important element in continental lacustrine basins and is significant for reservoir exploration. Oil and gas resources have been found in the sublacustrine fan sandstone reservoirs of the Paleogene Dongying Formation in the Bohai Sea. In this study, the characteristics of the sublacustrine fan reservoirs and the controlling factors are studied using information from logging, cores, physical properties,casting thin sections, X-ray diffraction of clay minerals, vitrinite reflectance, rock pyrolysis, manometry data,and 3D seismic data. The sublacustrine fans of the Dongying Formation in the LD10, QHD34, and BZ21 structures show high-quality reservoirs with porosity >15 % and permeability >5 m D. The main controlling factors of the high-quality reservoirs are attributed to the favorable sedimentary facies type and negligible compaction,and cementation, substantial dissolution of K-feldspar, overpressure, and the development of faults and fractures. A high-quality sublacustrine fan reservoir model has been established to explain how these factors affected the physical properties. The favorable targets for oil and gas exploration in the Dongying Formation of Bohai Sea include undercompacted sandy debris flow reservoirs showing the dissolution of K-feldspar, and the reservoirs which are connected to the source rocks by faults. This study provides insights to establish the relationship between sedimentology, diagenesis and reservoir quality. The results of this study are significant for the exploration and development of the sublacustrine fan sandstone reservoirs in the Bohai Sea and analogous sandstone reservoirs elsewhere.
