Suppression of uncontrollable dendrite growth and water-induced side reactions of Zn metal anodes is crucial for achieving long-lasting cycling stability and facilitating the practical implementations of aqueous Zn-metal *** address these challenges,we report in this study a functional nitro-cellulose interfacial layer(NCIL)on the surface of Zn anodes enlightened by a nitro-coordination chemistry *** NCIL exhibits strong zincophilicity and superior coordination capability with Zn^(2+)due to the highly electronegative and highly nucleophilic nature of the nitro functional *** characteristic facilitates a rapid Zn-ion desolvation process and homogeneous Zn plating,effectively preventing H_(2) evolution and dendrite ***,the negatively charged surface of NCIL acts as a shield,repelling SO_(4)^(2-)anions and inhibiting corrosive reactions on the Zn ***,reversible and stable Zn plating/stripping is achieved for over 5100 h at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2),which is nearly 30 times longer than that of bare Zn ***,the Zn/V_(2)O_(5) full cells with the functional interface layer deliver a high-capacity retention of 80.3%for over 10,000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1).This research offers valuable insights for the rational development of advanced protective interface layers in order to achieve ultra-long-lifeZnmetal batteries.

Ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurred outside the uterus,usually in the fallopian tube,followed by other abdominal *** pregnancy could not develop normally to term and requires sufficient evaluation and intervention with medication or surgery in most cases(1).As a rare form of abdominal pregnancy(2),splenic ectopic pregnancy could be treated by drug treatment(3)or surgical interventions,including laparotomy and laparoscopy,which focused on total splenectomy(4,5).A previous study(6)indicated that laparoscopic partial splenectomy for selected patients was safe and *** to the fragile texture of the spleen,the suture method during laparoscopic partial splenectomy was technically demanding since it might encounter higher risk of splenic vascular hemorrhage than total ***,few reports focused on the treatment of splenic ectopic pregnancy via laparoscopic partial splenectomy(7).In order to avoid the potential severe complications such as hemoperitoneum(8)caused by drug treatment alone,and to avert impaired hematopoietic and immune function caused by total splenectomy,we herein presented a case(Video 1)of a 30-year-old woman(gravida 2,para 1)undergoing laparoscopic partial splenectomy performed by hepatobiliary surgeons to treat splenic ectopic pregnancy.

Efficient charge-carrier injection and transport in organic light-emitting devices(OLEDs)are essential to simultaneously achieving their high efficiency and long-term ***,the charge-transporting layers(CTLs)deposited by various vapor or solution processes are usually in amorphous forms,and their low charge-carrier mobilities,defectinduced high trap densities and inhomogeneous thickness with rough surface morphologies have been obstacles towards high-performance ***,organic single-crystalline(SC)films were employed as the hole-transporting layers(HTLs)instead of the conventional amorphous films to fabricate highly efficient and stable *** highmobility and ultrasmooth morphology of the SC-HTLs facilitate superior interfacial characteristics of both HTL/electrode and HTL/emissive layer interfaces,resulting in a high Haacke’s figure of merit(FoM)of the ultrathin top electrode and low series-resistance joule-heat loss ratio of the ***,the thick and compact SC-HTL can function as a barrier layer against moisture and oxygen *** a result,the SC-OLEDs show much improved efficiency and stability compared to the OLEDs based on amorphous or polycrystalline HTLs,suggesting a new strategy to developing advanced OLEDs with high efficiency and high stability.

Vanadium disulfide(VS_(2)) as a typical two-dimensional transition metal chalcogenide has excellent competitiveness for sodium-ion storage due to its wide layer spacing(0.575 nm),high theoretical capacity of 932mAh·g^(-1) originating from multi-electron electrochemical ***,continuous sodiation process accompanied by crystal structural evolution and collapse cause rapid capacity ***,novel few-layer VS_(2)nanosheets with open(001) crystal planes are in-situ constructed on reduced graphene oxide to solve these issues mentioned *** indicates that few-layer VS_(2)provides more Na^(+) storage activity due to the low Na^(+)surface migration energy barrier on exposed crystal(001)*** flexible and high electronic conductivity of carbon matrix also effectively builds multi-level buffer structure and electron transport kinetics to boost the Na^(+)insertion/conversion reactive activity on VS_(2) as well as Na^(+) pseudocapacitance storage kinetics on edges and defects of nano *** coupling effects result in high rate capability and long cycling stability as a battery/capacitor *** delivers conspicuous high energy density of 81 and 40 Wh·kg^(-1) at power density of 118 and 10,286W·kg^(-1),as well as 80% energy retention rate after 5000cycles,confirming its great application potential in sodiumbased storage devices.

Defects engineering is an effective strategy for manipulating electromagnetic parameters and enhancing electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption ***,the relationship between them is not clear,especially in solid solution *** this work,a series of(Cr_(1-x)V_(x))_(2)AlC MAX phase solid solutions with layered structure were prepared via tuning the ratio of Cr and V to explore their EMW absorption *** experimental results indicated that the doping of V atoms at the M-site could effectively regulate its impedance matching and EMW absorption properties by introducing appropriate numbers of defects in the crystal,such as twin boundaries,dislocations and lattice *** them,if Cr:V=3:1,Cr_(1.5)V_(0.5)AlC,as radar absorption materials,could reach a strong reflection loss of-51.8 dB at the frequency of 12.8 GHz under an ultra-thin thickness of 1.3 *** reflection loss value could attain-10 dB in a wide frequency range of 2.7-18 GHz and thickness range of 1-5 *** addition,after high temperature and acid-alkali immersion treatment,this sample still had good EMW absorption capability,and the effective absorption bandwidth was enhanced from 2.3 to 2.6 GHz after concentrated acid immersion or 3.1 GHz after concentrated alkali *** work has great reference significance for the research and development of high-performance MAX-based EMW absorption materials in harsh environments.

BACKGROUND Electroconvulsive therapy(ECT)is both an effective treatment for patients with major depressive disorder(MDD)and a noxious *** some studies have explored the effect of sedation depth on seizure parameters in ECT,there is little research on the noxious stimulation response to *** this study,we used two electroencephalography(EEG)-derived indices,the quantitative consci-ousness(qCON)index and quantitative nociceptive(qNOX)index,to monitor sedation,hypnosis,and noxious stimulation response in patients with MDD undergoing acute *** Patients with MDD(n=24)underwent acute bilateral temporal ECT under propofol *** ECT,the patients were randomly divided into three groups according to qCON scores(qCON60-70,qCON50-60,and qCON40-50).Continuous qCON monitoring was performed 3 minutes before and during ECT,and the qCON,qNOX,vital signs,EEG seizure parameters,and complications during the recovery period were *** 24-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression,Zung’s Self-rating Depression Scale,and Montreal Cognitive Asse-ssment scores were evaluated before the first ECT session,after the fourth ECT session,and after the full course of *** A total of 193 ECT sessions were performed on 24 *** qCON index significantly affected the EEG seizure duration,peak mid-ictal amplitude,and maximum heart rate during ECT(Ptic-ECT time intervals also had a significant effect on EEG seizure parameters(Plications,24-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression scores,Zung’s Self-rating Depression Scale scores,or Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores among the three groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Electrical stimulation at a qCON index of 60-70 resulted in better EEG seizure parameters without increasing complications in patients with MDD undergoing b
