Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)have emerged as a promising approach for generating electricity and providing electrical stimuli in medical electronic *** their potential benefits,the clinical implementation of TENGs faces challenges such as skin compliance and a lack of comprehensive assessment regarding their biosafety and ***,further research is imperative to overcome these limitations and unlock the full potential of TENGs in various biomedical *** this study,we present a flexible silk fibroin-based triboelectric nanogenerator(SFB-TENG)that features an on-skin substrate and is characterized by excellent skin compliance and air/water *** range of electrical output generated by the SFB-TENG was shown to facilitate the migration and proliferation of Hy926,NIH-3T3 and RSC96 ***,apoptosis of fibroblast NIH-3T3 cells was observed when the output voltage increased to more than 20 V at a frequency of 2 *** addition,the moderate electrical stimulation provided by the SFB-TENG promoted the cell proliferation cycle in Hy926 *** research highlights the efficacy of a TENG system featuring a flexible and skin-friendly design,as well as its safe operating conditions for use in biomedical *** findings position TENGs as highly promising candidates for practical applications in the field of tissue regeneration.

Photocatalytic cycloadditions of CO_(2)with epoxides are emerging as a significant platform for the green synthesis of valuable carbonates,where efficient catalytic systems with spatially separated charge carriers are ***,a single p-block metal atom is proposed to be a candidate for photogenerated electron localization on a metal oxide *** taking the Bi single-atom supported on ZnO nanosheet(Bi1/ZnO)as an example,we show that the Bi atom plays the role of an electron island in the sea of delocalized holes within ***,the as-formed electron island could readily promote the rate-determining ring-opening process of cycloaddition *** from the unique spatially separated electrons and holes,the Bi1/ZnO achieves a high yield of cyclic carbonates with almost 100%*** study provides a pioneering strategy for enhancing the performances of photocatalytic CO_(2)chemical fixation.

Federated learning(FL) enables distributed clients to collaboratively train a machine learning model without sharing raw data with each other. However, it suffers from the leakage of private information from uploading models. In addition, as the model size grows, the training latency increases due to the limited transmission bandwidth and model performance degradation while using differential privacy(DP)protection. In this paper, we propose a gradient sparsification empowered FL framework with DP over wireless channels, to improve training efficiency without sacrificing convergence performance. Specifically, we first design a random sparsification algorithm to retain a fraction of the gradient elements in each client’s local model, thereby mitigating the performance degradation induced by DP and reducing the number of transmission parameters over wireless channels. Then, we analyze the convergence bound of the proposed algorithm, by modeling a non-convex FL problem. Next, we formulate a time-sequential stochastic optimization problem for minimizing the developed convergence bound, under the constraints of transmit power, the average transmitting delay, as well as the client’s DP requirement. Utilizing the Lyapunov drift-plus-penalty framework, we develop an analytical solution to the optimization problem. Extensive experiments have been implemented on three real-life datasets to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm. We show that our proposed algorithms can fully exploit the interworking between communication and computation to outperform the baselines, i.e., random scheduling, round robin, and delay-minimization algorithms.

The introduction of entropy concept into thermoelectric materials recently has attracted broad ***,we showed the phase diagram of the ternary systems of Bi_(2)Se_(3)-Sb_(2)Se_(3)-In_(2)Se_(3).Among the high entropy compounds (HECs),we have identified an intrinsic p-type region near our previously reported Bi_(0.8)Sb_(0.8)In_(0.4)Se_(3) in the phase diagram.

Copper(Cu)is a trace element,essential for fish *** the current study,in addition to growth performance,we first explored the effects of Cu on collagen synthesis and myofiber growth and development in juvenile grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella).A total of 1080 fish(11.16±0.01 g)were randomly divided into 6 treatments(3 replicates per treatment)to receive five doses of organic Cu which were Cu citrate(CuCit)at 0.99(basal diet),2.19,4.06,6.15,and 8.07 mg/kg,and one dose o inorganic Cu(CuSO_(4)·5H_(2)O at 3.15 mg/kg),for 9 *** results showed appropriate Cu level(4.06 mg kg)enhanced growth performance,improved nutritional Cu status,and downregulated Cu-transporting ATPase 1 mRNA levels in the hepatopancreas,intestine,and muscle of juvenile grass *** collagen content in fish muscle was increased after Cu intake,which was probably due to the following pathways:(1)activating CTGF/TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway to regulate collagen transcription;(2upregulating of La ribonucleoprotein domain family 6(LARP6)mRNA levels to regulate translation initiation;(3)increasing proline hydroxylase,lysine hydroxylase,and lysine oxidase activities to regulate posttranslational *** addition,optimal Cu group increased myofiber diameters and the frequency of myofibers with diameter>50μm,which might be associated with upregulation of cyclin B cyclin D,cyclin E,proliferating cell nuclear antigen,myogenic determining factor(MyoD),myogenic factor 5,myogenin(MyoG),myogenic regulatory factor 4 and myosin heavy chain(MyHC)and down regulation of myostatin mRNA levels,increasing protein levels of MyoD,MyoG and MyHC in fish muscle Finally,based on percentage weight gain(PWG),serum ceruloplasmin(Cp)activity and collagen conten in fish muscle,Cu requirements were determined as 4.74,4.37 and 4.62 mg/kg diet(CuCit as Cu source of juvenile grass carp,*** on PWG and Cp activity,compared to CuSO_(4)·5H_(2)O,the efficacy of CuCit were 131.80%and 115.38%,resp

Conversion of labile Pb species into chloropyromorphite(CPY)using phosphorus-bearing amendments was considered to be an ideal strategy in soil passivation ***,the fate and transport of CPY in the soil are poorly *** study aims to fill the knowledge gap by evaluating the fate and transport of CPY under environmentally relevant conditions of humic acid(HA),pH,electrolyte concentration,and species through the saturated sandy *** showed that bare CPY colloids are basically immobile in sandy porous media while the co-existence of HA made the transport of CPY improved by30%-93.5%.Facilitated transport of CPY was attributed to the increased stability of CPY and the repulsive interaction between CPY particles and sands due to HA *** mobility of CPY was also increased with increasing pH from 5.0 to *** the pH was 9 with a10 mmol/L NaCl background solution,the stronger energy barrier between CPY and sand led to enhanced transport *** divalent Ca^(2+)had a more dramatic effect than monovalent Na^(+)on the aggregation and sedimentation of CPY colloids due to its effectivescreening of the surface charge of CPY and bridging interaction with CPY ***-LandauVerwey-Overbeek theory and attachment efficiency calculation indicated that high energy barriers were responsible for the high mobility of CPY colloids,while the retention of CPY in sands was mainly caused by secondary energy minimum and physically *** findings of this work can help to evaluate the fate of soil passivation remediation products in natural water and soil.

Converter slag is a by-product of the steelmaking process and contains a large amount of Ca,Fe,P and other *** the phosphorus in the converter slag can be effectively extracted,the resulting phosphorus can be used as a phosphate *** in converter slag is mainly enriched in 2CaO·SiO_(2)-3CaO·P_(2)O_(5)(C_(2)S-C_(3)P)solid solution and is easily dissolved in ***,acid leaching method was used to dissolve the solid solution to extract phosphorus in converter slag,so as to realize the recycling of phosphorus resources in converter *** leaching behavior of three actual converter slags from different steel mills in acid leaching solutions composed of citric acid,sodium hydroxide,hydrochloric acid and deionized water was studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy to reveal the change in object image structure as well as SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron before and after acid *** results show that only a small amount of phosphorus in converter slag with too low basicity is enriched in C_(2)S-C_(3)P solid solution,resulting in poor leaching *** the converter slag has a high basicity,the removal effect of phosphorus is 70.64%-81.88%.In addition,when the basicity of converter slag is roughly the same,the dephosphorization effect of slag with high FeO content is relatively *** acid leaching will cause depolymerization behavior of SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron,so that the mole fraction of Q0(Si)(asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O bond in SiO_(4) tetrahedron with bridge oxygen number of 0)and NBO/Si(non-bridging oxygen in silicate tetrahedra)will ***-containing solids can be obtained from the solution after acid leaching through static precipitation,and the solids have the potential to make phosphate fertilizers.
