The 26 taxa of genus Spiraea (Rosaceae) in 14 Korean taxa and four taxa of them doubled in the world itself were collected and investigated phylogenetic relationships within these taxa using the chloroplast trnL-trnf region. Sequence variation within the genus Spiraea was mostly due to insertion/deletion. Total alignment sequence of trnL-trnf region in genus Spiraea was 1004 positions, of which 126 were parsimony-informative, 149 variable, 23 singleton, and 847 constant characters. The base furtherance did not show a significant difference among total taxa. Although many taxa of genus Spiraea were well separated each other, many branches were not congruent with the taxon positions with botanical names. In addition, sequences of the chloroplast trnL-trnf region for same species are different from each other according to authors. The taxonomic identification of genus Spiraea are in need of revision.

Crystals of sodium tridecafluorodizirconate Na5Zr2f13 were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions, and the structure was refined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic with crystallographic data： Mr = 544.39, C2/m （No. 12）, a = 11.5600（9）, b = 5.4759（4）, c = 8.3989（6） A°, β = 97.361（10）°, V= 527.28（7） A°^3, Z= 2, Dc = 3.429 g/cm^3, 2 = 0.71073A° ,μ = 23.48 cm^-1, f（000） = 504, T= 295 K, Ri = 0.0173 and wR2 = 0.0449 for 55 variables and 682 contributing uniqUe reflections. The crystal structure is constituted with sixand eight-fold sodium atoms, forming irregular trigonal prisms and irregular cubes, respectively. Here, the zirconium atoms are connected with seven fluorine atoms to form a mono-capped trigonal prism. [Zr2f13]^5- complex ions formed by comer-shared [Zrf7]^3- are comer- and edgeshared to [Na4f22] and [Na3f8] cages, leading to the network structure. Thermal analysis, X-ray excited luminescence and photoluminescence under UV light measurements were conducted on Na5Zr2f13 crystals.

The title complex [Zn（L）（phen）（CH3OH）] （L = C8H6BrO4NS, aminomethanesulfonic acid 5-bromo-salicylaldelyde schiff base; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline） has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 1.8712（3）, b = 1.38008（19）, c = 0.83685（12） nm, β = 97.791 （2）°, Mr = 569.72, V = 2.1411 （5） nm^3, Z= 4, Dc = 1.767 g/cm^3,μ = 3.151 mm^-1, f（000） = 1144, the final R = 0.0402 and wR = 0.0885. The central Zn（Ⅱ） is six-coordinated by one nitrogen and two oxygen atoms from the Schiff base, two nitrogen atoms from 1,10-phenanthroline and one oxygen from methanol to form a distorted octahedral coordination geometry.

Beyond glycemic control, applications of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1r) agonists (GLP-1 RAs) inhibit inflammationand plaque development in murine atherosclerotic models. However, whether they modulate hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells(HSPCs)to prohibit skewed myelopoiesis in hypercholesteremia remains unknown. In this study, GLP-1r expression in fluorescenceactivated cell sorting (fACS)-sorted wild-type HSPCs was determined by capillary western blotting. Bone marrow cells (BMCs)of wild-type or GLP-1r−/− mice were transplanted into lethally irradiated low-density lipoprotein receptor deficient (LDLr−/−)recipients followed by high-fat diet (HfD) for chimerism analysis by fACS. In parallel, LDLr−/− mice were placed on HfD for 6weeks and then treated with saline or Exendin-4 (Ex-4) for another 6 weeks. HSPC frequency and cell cycle were analyzed byfACS, and intracellular metabolite levels were assessed by targeted metabolomics. The results demonstrated that HSPCs expressedGLP-1r and transplantation of GLP-1r−/− BMCs resulted in skewed myelopoiesis in hypercholesterolemic LDLr−/− *** vitro, Ex-4 treatment of fACS-purified HSPCs suppressed cell expansion and granulocyte production induced by LDL. In vivo, Ex-4treatment inhibited plaque progression, suppressed HSPC proliferation, and modified glycolytic and lipid metabolism in HSPCs ofhypercholesteremic LDLr−/− mice. In conclusion, Ex-4 could directly inhibit HSPC proliferation induced by hypercholesteremia.

Real-time monitoring flexible hydrogels based on dual physically cross-linked network for promoting wound healing

To achieve smart and personalized medicine, the development of hydrogel dressings with sensing properties and biotherapeutic properties that can act as a sensor to monitor of human health in real-time while speeding up wound healing face great challenge. In the present study, a biocompatible dual-network composite hydrogel(DNCGel) sensor was obtained via a simple process. The dual network hydrogel is constructed by the interpenetration of a flexible network formed of poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) physical cross-linked by repeated freeze-thawing and a rigid network of iron-chelated xanthan gum(XG) impregnated with fe^(3+) interpenetration. The pure PVA/XG hydrogels were chelated with ferric ions by immersion to improve the gel strength(compressive modulus and tensile modulus can reach up to 0.62 MPa and0.079 MPa, respectively), conductivity(conductivity values ranging from 9 × 10^(-4) S/cm to 1 × 10^(-3)S/cm)and bacterial inhibition properties(up to 98.56%). Subsequently, the effects of the ratio of PVA and XG and the immersion time of fe^(3+) on the hydrogels were investigated, and DNGel3 was given the most priority on a comprehensive consideration. It was demonstrated that the DNCGel exhibit good biocompatibility in vitro, effectively facilitate wound healing in vivo(up to 97.8% healing rate) under electrical stimulation, and monitors human movement in real time. This work provides a novel avenue to explore multifunctional intelligent hydrogels that hold great promise in biomedical fields such as smart wound dressings and flexible wearable sensors.
