针对长江流域棉区传统植棉模式生产成本高、种植效益低等问题,创建了以"晚播、增密、减氮、见花一次施肥、秸秆还田和阈值管理"为特点的夏直播棉花种植模式,该模式得到广泛应用。为揭示这一新模式提高氮肥利用率、稳定棉花产量的理论基础,2017—2018年采用大田试验探讨了密度和氮肥互作对棉花群体发育和产量的影响。以华棉3097为材料,裂区设计,2个密度(D1,6株·m;D2,8株·m)为主区,3个施氮量(N1、N2和N3分别为150、180和210 kg·hm)为副区,调查了棉花产量及其构成因素、干物质累积、氮素利用和冠层结构等。结果表明:D1时,N3籽棉产量最高(2 831.1 kg·hm-2),比N1和N2分别高14.8%和5.8%;D2时,N3产量(3 014.9 kg·hm-2)较N1增加9.2%,但与N2无差异。逐步回归分析表明,每平米增加1株或1个铃,棉花产量增加63.6或20.1 kg·hm。通径分析表明,棉花产量与库器官生物质量直接相关系数(p=0.70)最大,而源器官和流器官通过库器官对产量起间接作用。同时,棉花产量与生物质累积的最大值(K,R=0.92)、快速累积期平均累积速度(V,R=0.70)、生长期间最大累积速率(R,R=0.87)正相关。此外,D2N2氮素表观利用率(16.6 g·g)和库器官分配比例(73.8%)相对较高。相较于D1,D2提高了群体早期冠层光拦截和生育期最大光拦截率,高效光拦截(>70%)持续期延长了7.4%;D2降低了花铃期冠层白天平均气温、最高气温和相对湿度。综上,夏直播棉花增密减氮在实现群体生物质(尤其是库器官生物质)快速累积的同时,构建了光氮高效利用的群体结构和适宜的冠层环境,维持了产量的稳定。

Forests are the main source of income for humans and shelter for many rare in habitants. Forests act as carbon sink and help to reduce the effect of natural hazards like floods. The timber is among the main products of forests used for precious furniture. Forest must cover one third of the part of any country but in Pakistan, it covers less than 4%. If the deforestation continues with the same ratio, there will be a drastic change in the upcoming years. The main objective of the study is to determine deforestation rates in Murree for the years 1999-2015 through open source Landsat 7, 8 imageries. The areas with high deforestation rates are also delineated. Supervised classification is used to delineate the area under buildup, vegetation and water that was 83.85 km2, 760.63 km2 and 1.18 km2 respectively in 1999. Built up area increased up to 20% and forests declined by 23% in 2015 as compared to 1999. Remote sensing and GIS tools helped to investigate the deforestation rates with high accuracy.

A random population sample from urban and rural areas of Bannu region, Northwest Frontier Province（NWFP） of Pakistan was screened for distribution of blood groups. The objective was to identify the genotypic frequency of blood groups in the region, in order to comprehend the allelic diversity. Blood grouping was carried out over a period of 16 months from January 2002 to April 2003, and encompassed 2581 subjects, in which 57.09% were male and 42.9% female. These were categorized according to ABO/Rh system. Allele frequency was computed according to HardyWeinberg law. The distribution of phenotypes in the total sample was 0.3623, 0.3103, 0.2507 and0.0767 for groups B, A, O and AB, respectively, with 0.672 Rh-positive（R） and 0.328 Rh-negative（r）. B group was dominant in both the genders, and AB was rare in both males as well as females. The distribution of the alleles in the total sample was 0.345, 0.378 and 0.277 for I A, I B and i, *** studied population exhibited a predominance of group B, in the order of B＞A＞O＞AB, as well as Rh-positive antigen for both male（90.26%） and female（87.98%） subjects within the population,with Rh-negative men and women being 9.74% and 12.02% respectively.

Twenty-eight sweet sorghum （Sorghum bicolor （L.） Moench） genotypes of the different ecological and geographic origins： Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Uzbekistan, and China were tested in the high latitude rainfed conditions of northern Kazakhstan. The genotypes demonstrated high biomass production （up to 100 t＇ha1 and more）. The genotypes ripening to full reproductive seeds were selected for seed production and introduction in the northern Kazakhstan. Lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum S-1, Streptococcus thermophilus F-1 and Lactococcus lactis F-4 essentially enhance the fermentation process, suppressing undesirable microbiological processes, reducing the loss of nutrient compounds, accelerating in 2 times maturation ensilage process and providing higher quality of the feed product.

Organ at Risk Doses during High Dose Rate Intracavitary Brachytherapy for Cervical Cancer: A Dosimetric Study

Background: Treatment of Cervical cancer includes a combination of external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) with intracavitary brachytherapy (ICBT). ICBT helps to boost radiation dose to primary disease. Organs like rectum, bladder, sigmoid and small bowel lie close to the cervix region and these organs receive dose from EBRT as well as ICBT and we want to know the dose to these organ at risk (OAR). Materials & Methods: Dosimetric details of 174 ICBT applications done in 58 patients were retrospectively analysed. All patients received EBRT dose of 50.4 Gy in 28 fractions. All patients had ICBT, three sessions with 7 Gy prescribed to point A. Dosimetric data including dose to right and left point A and dose to OARs were recorded from Oncentra Planning System. Results: Mean dose to point A on right side was 6.89 Gy and left side was 6.91 Gy. Mean D2cc dose to rectum, bladder, sigmoid and small bowel was 3.5 Gy, 5.25 Gy, 4.75 Gy and 4.2 Gy respectively. Mean EQD2 dose combining EBRT and ICBT in point A was 78.7 Gy on right side and 79 Gy on left side. Mean EQD2 doses to D2cc of rectum, bladder, sigmoid and small bowel was 62 Gy, 74.4 Gy, 70.5 Gy and 66.5 Gy respectively. Conclusion: From the results of this dosimetric study it is evident that OARs like rectum, sigmoid, bladder & bowel are receiving only acceptable doses of radiation using point A prescribed CT based ICBT planning. Hence with regards to OAR doses, CT based ICBT planning with dose prescribed to point A is a feasible option.

Phishing attacks pose a significant security threat by masquerading as trustworthy entities to steal sensitive information,a problem that persists despite user *** study addresses the pressing issue of phishing attacks on websites and assesses the performance of three prominent Machine Learning(ML)models—Artificial Neural Networks(ANN),Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)—utilizing authentic datasets sourced from Kaggle and Mendeley *** experimentation and analysis reveal that the CNN model achieves a better accuracy of 98%.On the other hand,LSTM shows the lowest accuracy of 96%.These findings underscore the potential of ML techniques in enhancing phishing detection systems and bolstering cybersecurity measures against evolving phishing tactics,offering a promising avenue for safeguarding sensitive information and online security.

This study examined that the efficiency of Bacillus pumilus(BP)on growth performance and meat quality of broiler chickens.A total of day old 240 male broiler chicks were purchased from local hatchery *** chicks were allocated into four groups with six replicates of 10 birds in each *** diets were prepared for experiment,which included control as basal diet,BP-0.1(CONT+0.1%BP),BP-0.2(CONT+0.2%BP)and AGP(CONT+zinc bacitracin 20 ppm)as antibiotic growth *** results showed that live body weight(LBW),average daily gain was recorded higher(P<0.01)in birds fed diet with BP-0.1 than control and BP-0.2 groups,as well as ADFI also increased in BP-0.1 than control ***-0.1 supplementation significantly reduced feed conversion ratio(FCR)than other groups(P<0.01).Both moisture and crude protein(CP)content influenced by supplementation of BP-0.1 than other ***,birds fed diet with BP-0.1 had least fat content in breast meat compared with the other groups(P<0.01).In addition,BP-0.1probiotic-fed birds had the lowest(P<0.01)pH,cooking loss(CL)and drip loss(DL)as compared to control,BP-0.2 and AGP *** water holding capacity(WHC)were found higher in BP-0.1 as compared to other groups(P<0.01).In conclusion,Bacillus pumilus probiotic supplementation is a promising approach for substitution of antibiotics in broiler diet for enhancement of growth performance and physiochemical properties of meat.
