Anomaly detection for the control rod drive mechanism(CRDM) is key to enhancing the security of nuclear power plant equipment. In CRDM real-time condition-based maintenance, most existing methods cannot deal with long sequences and periodic abnormal events and have poor feature extraction from these data. In this paper,a learning-based anomaly detection method employing a long short-term memory-based autoencoder(LSTM-AE)network and an extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)algorithm is proposed for the CRDM. The nonlinear and sequential features of the CRDM coil currents can be automatically and efficiently extracted by the LSTM neural units and AE network. The normal behavior LSTM-AE model was established to reconstruct the errors when feeding abnormal coil current signals. The XGBoost algorithm was leveraged to monitor the residuals and identify outliers for the coil currents. The results demonstrate that the proposed anomaly detection method can effectively detect different timing sequence anomalies and provide a more accurate forecasting performance for CRDM coil current signals.

The electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction to produce multi-carbon(C_(2+)) hydrocarbons or oxygenate compounds is a promising route to obtain a renewable fuel of high energy ***,producing C_(2+)at high current densities is still a ***,we develop a Cu-Zn alloy/Cu-Zn aluminate oxide composite electrocatalytic system for enhanced conversion of CO_(2)to C_(2+)*** Cu-Zn-Al-Layered Double Hydroxide(LDH) is used as a precursor to decompose into uniform Cu-Zn oxide/Cu-Zn aluminate *** electrochemical reduction,Cu-Zn oxide generates Cu-Zn alloy while Cu-Zn aluminate oxide remains *** alloy and oxide are closely stacked and arranged alternately,and the aluminate oxide induces the strong electron interaction of Cu,Zn and Al,creating a large number of highly active reaction interfaces composed of 0 to+3 valence metal *** the help of the interface effect,the optimized Cu_(9)Zn_(1)/Cu_(0.8)Zn_(0.2)Al_(2)O_(4)catalyst achieves a Faradaic efficiency of 88.5% for C_(2+)products at a current density of 400 mA cm^(-2)at-1.15 V versus reversible hydrogen *** in-situ Raman and attenuate total reflectance-infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-IRAS) spectra show that the aluminate oxide at the interface significantly enhances the adsorption and activation of CO_(2)and the dissociation of H2O and strengthens the adsorption of CO intermediates,and the alloy promotes the C-C coupling to produce C_(2+)*** work provides an efficient strategy to construct highly active reaction interfaces for industrial-scale electrochemical CO_(2)RR.

Various surgical approaches have been successfully used in the treatment of thoracolumbar disc herniation （TLDH）. Although the anterior transthoracic approach has a reputation for better visualization than the posterolateral and lateral approaches, it involves the manipulation of the thoracic and pulmonary structures. Thus, this approach is technically demanding and prone to compromising the respiratory system. An ideal approach would involve adequate visualization and be accomplished through the posterior midline approach that is familiar to spine surgeons. The objective of this retrospective preliminary clinical study was to introduce a new surgical procedure, circumspinal decompression through a single posterior incision, for the treatment of TLDH （T10/11-L1/2） and to evaluate the surgical outcome of this procedure by comparing it to the conventional anterior transthoracic approach. Methods In this study, 15 patients （10 males, 5 females; mean age 51 years） with symptomatic TLDH underwent the circumspinal decompression through a single posterior incision procedure between January 2008 and December 2009. Altogether, 17 herniated discs were excised, with 2 discs at T10/11, 4 discs at Tll/12, 5 discs at T12/L1 and 6 discs at L1/2. Of these patients, 13 were followed up with a mean follow-up period of 23.5 months. Clinical outcomes, including operative time, blood loss, perioperative complications, postoperative time of hospitalization, neurologic status improvement, back pain and correction of local kyphosis, were investigated by comparing these data with the results from patients who underwent the anterior transthoracic approach for TLDH during the same period. The patients＇ neurologic status was evaluated by a modified Japanese Orthopedic Association （JOA） scoring system of 11 points. Interference mechanism of trailing edge flap shedding vortices with rotor wake and aerodynamic characteristics

A robust Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)based solver is established to predict the complex unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of the Active Flap Control(AFC)*** complex motion with multiple degrees of freedom of the Trailing Edge Flap(TEF)is analyzed by employing an inverse nested overset grid *** of non-rotational and rotational modes of blade motion are carried out to investigate the formation and development of TEF shedding vortex with high-frequency deflection of ***,the mechanism of TEF deflection interference with blade tip vortex and overall rotor aerodynamics is also *** nonrotational mode,two bundles of vortices form at the gap ends of TEF and the main blade and merge into a single TEF *** deflection of the TEF significantly interferes with the blade tip *** position of the blade tip vortex consistently changes,and its frequency is directly related to the frequency of TEF *** rotational mode,the tip vortex forms a helical *** end vortices at the gap sides co-swirl and subsequently merge into the concentrated beam of tip vortices,causing fluctuations in the vorticity and axial position of the tip vortex under the *** research concludes with the investigation on suppression of Blade Vortex Interaction(BVI),showing an increase in miss distance and reduction in the vorticity of tip vortex through TEF phase control at a particular control *** this mechanism,a designed TEF deflection law increases the miss distance by 34.7%and reduces vorticity by 11.9%at the target position,demonstrating the effectiveness of AFC in mitigating BVI.

Polymeric microwave actuators combining tissue-like softness with programmablemicrowave-responsive deformation hold great promise for mobile intelligentdevices and bionic soft robots. However, their application is challenged by restricted electromagneticsensitivity and intricate sensing coupling. In this study, a sensitized polymericmicrowave actuator is fabricated by hybridizing a liquid crystal polymer with Ti3C2Tx(MXene). Compared to the initial counterpart, the hybrid polymer exhibits unique spacechargepolarization and interfacial polarization, resulting in significant improvements of230% in the dielectric loss factor and 830% in the apparent efficiency of electromagneticenergy harvest. The sensitized microwave actuation demonstrates as the shortenedresponse time of nearly 10 s, which is merely 13% of that for the initial shape memory polymer. Moreover, the ultra-low content of MXene (upto 0.15 wt%) benefits for maintaining the actuation potential of the hybrid polymer. An innovative self-powered sensing prototype that combinesdriving and piezoelectric polymers is developed, which generates real-time electric potential feedback (open-circuit potential of ~ 3 mV) duringactuation. The polarization-dominant energy conversion mechanism observed in the MXene-polymer hybrid structure furnishes a new approachfor developing efficient electromagnetic dissipative structures and shows potential for advancing polymeric electromagnetic intelligent devices.

The meteor radar can detect the zenith angle,azimuth,radial velocity,and altitude of meteor trails so that one can invert the wind profiles in the mesosphere and low thermosphere(MLT)region,based on the Interferometric and Doppler *** this paper,the horizontal wind field,gravity wave(GW)disturbance variance,and GW fluxes are analyzed through the meteor radar observation from 2012−2022,at Mohe(53.5°N,122.4°E)and Zuoling(30.5°N,114.6°E)stations of the(Chinese)Meridian *** Lomb−Scargle periodogram method has been utilized to analyze the periodic variations for time series with observational data *** results show that the zonal winds at both stations are eastward dominated,while the meridional winds are southward *** variance of GW disturbances in the zonal and meridional directions increases gradually with height,and there is a strong pattern of annual *** zonal momentum flux of GW changes little with height,showing weak annual *** meridional GW flux varies gradually from northward to southward with height,and the annual periodicity is *** both stations,the maximum values of zonal and meridional wind occur close to the peak heights of GW flux,with opposite *** observational evidence is consistent with the filtering *** horizontal wind velocity,GW flux,and disturbance variance of the GW at Mohe are overall smaller than those at Zuoling,indicating weaker activities in the MLT at *** power spectral density(PSD)calculated by the Lomb−Scargle periodogram shows that there are 12-month period and 6-month period in horizontal wind field,GW disturbance variance and GW flux at both stations,and especially there is also a 4-month cycle in the disturbance *** PSD of the 12-month and 6-month cycles exhibits maximum values below 88 km and above 94 km.

Land use and precipitation are two major factors affecting phosphorus(P)pollution of watershed ***,molecular characterization of dissolved organic phosphorus(DOP)in runoff under the joint influences of land use and precipitation remains *** study used Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(FT-ICR-MS)to study the molecular characteristics of DOP in a typical P-polluted watershed with spatially variable land use and *** results showed that low precipitation and intense human activity,including phosphate mining and associated industries,resulted in the accumulation of aliphatic DOP compounds in the upper reaches,characterized by low aromaticity and low biological *** precipitation and widespread agriculture in the middle and lower reaches resulted in highly unsaturated DOP compounds with high biological stability constituting a higher proportion,compared to in the upper ***,under similar precipitation,more aliphatic DOP compounds characterized by lower aromaticity and higher saturation were enriched in the lower reaches due to more influence from urban runoff relative to the middle *** and/or microbial processes did result in changes in the characteristics of DOP compounds during runoff processes due to the prevalence of low molecular weight and low O/C bioavailable aliphatic DOP molecules in the upper reaches,which were increasingly transformed into refractory compounds from the upper tomiddle *** results of this study can increase the understanding of the joint impacts of land use and precipitation on DOP compounds in watershed runoff.
