A Method for Data Classification Based on Discernibility Matrix and Discernibility Function

A method for data classification will influence the efficiency of classification. Attributes reduction based on discernibility matrix and discernibility function in rough sets can use in data classification, so we put forward a method for data classification. Namely, firstly, we use discernibility matrix and discernibility function to delete superfluous attributes in formation system and get a necessary attribute set. Secondly, we delete superfluous attribute values and get decision rules. Finally, we classify data by means of decision rules. The experiments show that data classification using this method is simpler in the structure, and can improve the efficiency of classification.

Rosai-Dorfman disease （RDD）, also known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy （SHML）, is a rare benign entity of unknown etiology. Extranodal SHML （ESHML） may occur as part of a generalized process involving lymph nodes or may involve extranodal sites independent of the lymph node status. Here we report a case with a Rosai-Dorfman disease of the lung and review the literature.

Apixaban versus enoxaparin for thromboprophylaxis after total hip or knee arthroplasty： a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Background Enoxaparin is routinely used for prevention of venous thromboembolism （VTE） after total hip or knee arthroplasty. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of apixaban, a newly oral direct inhibitor of factor Xa versus enoxaparin. Methods We performed a meta-analysis of relevant randomized-controlled trials （RCTs） identified in PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase China Biological Medical Literature database, Countries Journal full-text database, VIP database, and WanFang database. The primary efficacy outcome for our meta-analysis was all VTE and all-cause mortality. The secondary efficacy outcomes included major VTE, non-fatal pulmonary embolism, and mortality. The primary safety outcome was bleeding events, categorized as major, clinically relevant non-major, or minor events. Results Four RCTs, involving 14065 patients, were included in our meta-analysis. Compared to enoxaparin, thromboprophylaxis with apixaban was associated with significantly fewer VTE and all-cause mortality （8346 patients, risk ratio （RR）： 0.63, 95% CI 0.42-0.95） and similar incidence of bleeding events （major bleeding, 11 525 patients, RR 0.76, 95% CI 0.43-1.33; clinically relevant non-major bleeding, 11 525 patients, RR 0.83, 95% CI 0.69-1.01; and minor bleeding, 11 828 patients, RR 0.93, 95% CI 0.79-1.09）. However, our meta-analysis revealed similar effects of apixaban with enoxaparin for thromboprophylaxis with regard to the secondary efficacy outcomes. Conclusions Apixaban was more effective than recommended dose of enoxaparin and had a similar safety profile for thromboprophylaxis after hip and knee arthroplasty. But more evidence, especially well designed head-to-head RCTs, is needed to confirm the superior efficacy of apixaban.

Two dimensional(2D)nanocrystal functional superlattices with a well controlled structure are of significant importance in photonic,plasmonic and optoelectronic applications and have been well studied,but it remains challenging to understand the formation mechanism and development pathway of the *** this study,we employed in-situ liquid cell transmission electron microscopy to study the formation of 2D superlattice and its local phase transition from hexagonal-to-square nanocrystal *** colloidal nanocrystals flowed in the solution,long-range ordered hexagonal superlattice could be formed either through shrinking and rearrangement of nanocrystal aggregates or via nanocrystal *** the nanocrystals’shape transformed from truncated octahedral to cube,the local superlattice rearranged to square ***,our observations and quantitative analyses reveal that the phase transition from hexagonal to square mainly originates from the strong van der Waals interactions between the vertical(100)*** tracking of 2D cube superlattice formation in real-time could provide unique insights on the governing force of superlattice assembling and stabilization.

The solid state synthesis of the phase"Ce_(3)NbO_(7+δ)",from stoichiometric quantities of CeO_(2)and Nb_(2)O_(5),was investigated under air atmosphere,as previously described by Zhang et al.(Journal of Rare Earths,2007,25,730-733),A combination of powder X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray analysis,and laboratory Ce L_(3)X-ray absorption spectroscopy,demonstrates the product of the reaction to be a mixture of CeO_(2)and CeNbO_(4).These data,and reexamination of the published X-ray diffraction data of"Ce_(3)NbO_(7+δ)",are consistent with this phase in fact being CeO_(2).No evidence for the formation of a phase of composition"Ce_(3)NbO_(7+δ)"is found,by solid state synthesis under air atmosphere.

Background Human antigen R （HuR） is a ubiquitously expressed member of the ELAV family, and has relatively high cytoplasmic abundance in lung tissue regenerating after injury. In this study, we investigated whether mitogen-activated protein kinase （MAPK）-activated protein kinase 2 （MK2） and HuR participate in the tumor necrosis factor （TNF）-induced expression of interleukin-6 （IL-6）. Methods Human pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells were treated with TNF following short interfering RNAmediated knockdown of MK2 or HuR. Cell supernatants were collected to detect the mRNA and protein expression of IL-6 at different time points, The expression and half-life of IL-6 mRNA were then determined in cells that had been treated with actinomycin D. Finally, after knockdown of MK2, the cytoplasmic expression of HuR protein was analyzed using Western blotting. Results MK2 or HuR knockdown decreased both the mRNA and protein expression of IL-6 in TNF-stimulated cells. In MK2 knockdown cells, the half-life of IL-6 mRNA was reduced to 36 minutes, compared with 67 minutes in the control group. In HuR knockdown cells, the half-life of IL-6 mRNA decreased from 62 minutes to 24 minutes. Further analysis revealed that knockdown of MK2 resulted in reduced HuR protein expression in the cytoplasm. Conclusions MK2 regulates the TNF-induced expression of IL-6 by influencing the cytoplasmic levels of HuR.

Surface engineering has been found to be an efficient strategy to boost the catalytic performance of noble-metal-based *** this work,a small amount of P was doped to the surface of PtNi concave cube(P-PtNi CNC).Interestingly,the P-PtNi CNC nanocatalyst shows an enhanced methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)performance with achieving 8.19 times of specific activity than that of comercial Pt/*** electrochemical in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)results reveal that the surface P doping promotes the adsorption energy of OH,enhancing the resistance against CO ***,the intermediate adsorbed CO(COads)reacted with adsorbed OH(OHads)through the Langmuir–Hinshelwood(LH)mechanism to generate CO_(2)and release surface active sites for further *** work provides a promising strategy via the incorporation of non-metallic elements into the PtNi alloys bounded with high-index facets(HIFs)as efficient fuel cell catalysts.

In this article, the unified mathematical model for splash droplets and suspended mist of atomized flow was established, which classifies the atomized sources into the splash source and the suspended source. For the splash source, the Lagrangian method was used to simulate the random motion of splash water droplets, and for the suspended source the theory of air-water two-phase flow was used to simulate the mist flow moving in particle clouds. The rainfall intensity of the atomized flow was obtained by summarizing the rainfall intensities relative to the above two types of atomized sources. Both experimental data and prototype observation data were used for the verification of the mathematical model. For both the distribution of rainfall intensity, and the outer edge of the atomized flow, the simulation results are in agreement with the experimental data or prototype observation data.
