Internal multiples are commonly present in seismic data due to variations in velocity or density of subsurface media. They can reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of seismic data and degrade the quality of the image. With the development of seismic exploration into deep and ultradeep events, especially those from complex targets in the western region of China, the internal multiple eliminations become increasingly challenging. Currently, three-dimensional(3D) seismic data are primarily used for oil and gas target recognition and drilling. Effectively eliminating internal multiples in 3D seismic data of complex structures and mitigating their adverse effects is crucial for enhancing the success rate of drilling. In this study, we propose an internal multiple prediction algorithm for 3D seismic data in complex structures using the Marchenko autofocusing theory. This method can predict the accurate internal multiples of time difference without an accurate velocity model and the implementation process mainly consists of several steps. Firstly, simulating direct waves with a 3D macroscopic velocity ***, using direct waves and 3D full seismic acquisition records to obtain the upgoing and downgoing Green's functions between the virtual source point and surface. Thirdly, constructing internal multiples of the relevant layers by upgoing and downgoing Green's functions. Finally, utilizing the adaptive matching subtraction method to remove predicted internal multiples from the original data to obtain seismic records without multiples. Compared with the two-dimensional(2D) Marchenko algorithm, the performance of the 3D Marchenko algorithm for internal multiple prediction has been significantly enhanced, resulting in higher computational accuracy. Numerical simulation test results indicate that our proposed method can effectively eliminate internal multiples in 3D seismic data,thereby exhibiting important theoretical and industrial application value.

Effects of pre-ozonation on organic matter removal by coagulation with IPF-PACl

Ozone plays an important role as a disinfectant and oxidant in potable water treatment practice and is increasingly being used as a pre-oxidant before coagulation. The purpose of this study is to obtain insight into the mechanisms that are operative in pre-ozonized coagulation. Effects ofpre-ozonation on organic matter removal during coagulation with IPF-PAC1 were investigated by using PDA （photometric disperse analysis）, apparent molecular weight distribution and chemical fractionation. The dynamic formation of flocs during coagulation process was detected. Changes of aquatic organic matter （AOM） structure resulted from the influence of pre-ozonation were evaluated. Results show that dosage of O3 and characteristics of AOM are two of the major factors influencing the performance of O3 on coagulation. No significant coagulation-aid effect of O3 was observed for all experiments using either A1C13 or PAC1. On the contrary, with the application of pre-ozonation, the coagulation efficiency of A1C13 was significantly deteriorated, reflected by the retardation of floc formation, and the removal decreases of turbidity, DOC, and UV254. However, if PACl was used instead of AlCl3, the adverse effects of pre-ozonation were mitigated obviously, particularly when the O3 dosage was less than 0.69 （mg O3/mg TOC）. The difference between removals of UV254, and DOC indicated that pre-ozonation greatly changed the molecular structure of AOM, but its capability of mineralization was not remarkable. Only 5% or so DOC was removed by pre-ozonation at 0.6--0.8 mg/L alone. Fractionation results showed that the organic products of pre-ozonation exhibited lower molecular weight and more hydrophilicity, which impaired the removal of DOC in the following coagulation process.

目的探讨婴幼儿轻度脑外伤后基底节梗死(basal ganglia infarction after minor head trauma,BGIMHT)的临床特点及预后。方法回顾性分析2011年1月—2022年1月在苏州大学附属儿童医院住院的28 d至3岁BGIMHT患儿的临床资料和随访结果。结果纳入的45例BGIMHT患儿中,最常见症状为肢体活动障碍(96%,43/45),其次为面瘫(56%,25/45),头颅影像学见梗死伴基底节钙化占72%(31/43)。经保守治疗后,42例(93%)患儿症状改善,3例(7%)出现卒中反复。中位随访时间82(范围:17~141)个月,截至末次随访,97%(29/30)残留基底节软化灶;29例参与问卷随访,复发和康复问卷评估示66%(19/29)患儿恢复正常,17%(5/29)症状明显改善,17%(5/29)改善欠佳;全球疾病负担重点控制项目分级量表评估示仅1例(3%)残存严重后遗症。无神经系统后遗症患儿及有神经系统后遗症患儿的起病年龄、性别及有无合并BGC比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论BGIMHT最常见首发症状为肢体活动障碍,影像学结果见大部分患儿同时存在颅内钙化灶,多数梗死灶后期转化为软化灶,总体预后良好。

Transformations of particles, metal elements and natural organic matter in different water treatment processes

Characterizing natural organic matter （NOM）, particles and elements in different water treatment processes can give a useful information to optimize water treatment operations. In this article, transformations of particles, metal elements and NOM in a pilot-scale water treatment plant were investigated by laser light granularity system, particle counter, glass-fiber membrane filtration, inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy, ultra filtration and resin absorbents fractionation. The results showed that particles, NOM and trihalomethane formation precursors were removed synergistically by sequential treatment of different processes. Preozonation markedly changed the polarity and molecular weight of NOM, and it could be conducive to the following coagulation process through destabilizing particles and colloids; mid-ozonation enhanced the subsequent granular activated carbon （GAC） filtration process by decreasing molecular weight of organic matters. Coagulation-flotation and GAC were more efficient in removing fixed suspended solids and larger particles; while sand-filtration was more efficient in removing volatile suspended solids and smaller particles. Flotation performed better than sedimentation in terms of particle and NOM removal. The type of coagulant could greatly affect the performance of coagulation-flotation. Pre-hydrolyzed composite coagulant （HPAC） was superior to FeCl3 concerning the removals of hydrophobic dissolved organic carbon and volatile suspended solids. The leakages of flocs from sand-filtration and microorganisms from GAC should be mitigated to ensure the reliability of the whole treatment system.

The family Hepeviridae has seen an explosive expansion in its host range in recent years, yet the evolutionary trajectory of this zoonotic pathogen remains largely unknown. The emergence of rat hepatitis E virus(HEV)has introduced a new public health threat due to its potential for zoonotic transmission. This study investigated2 ?464 wild small mammals spanning four animal orders,eight families, 21 genera, and 37 species in Yunnan Province, China. Using broadly reactive reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), we systematically screened the presence and prevalence of Orthohepevirus and identified 192 positive specimens from10 species, corresponding to an overall detection rate of7.79%. Next-generation sequencing enabled the recovery of 24 full-length genomic sequences from eight host species, including Bandicota bengalensis, Eothenomys eleusis, and Episoriculus caudatus, representing newly reported host species for Orthohepevirus *** and sequence analyses revealed extensive genetic diversity within orthohepeviruses infecting rodents and shrews. Notably, among the identified strains, 20 were classified as Rocahepevirus ratti C1, two as C3, and one as Rocahepevirus eothenomi, while the remaining strain exhibited significant divergence, precluding *** analyses highlighted close associations between orthohepeviruses and their respective host taxa,with distinct phylogenetic clustering patterns observed across different host orders. These findings emphasize the critical roles of co-speciation and cross-species transmission in shaping the evolutionary trajectories of the genera Paslahepevirus and Rocahepevirus.
