Glycated Hemoglobin HbA1c:Permittivity Experimental Applications with Some mathematical Concepts,Temperature and Frequency Variations

Diabetes disorder turns smoothly to be a global epidemic disorder and the glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)starts to be an efficient marker of *** dielectric spectroscopy on different human normal-and diabetic-blood samples is used to characterize and to estimate the HbA1c concentration.“dc-”and ac-measurement of the complex conductivity in the temperature range from 280 K up to 320 K,and in the frequency range from one Hz up to 32 mHz have been *** thermal activation energy,ΔEσ,of dc-electric conductivity lies in the range 95 meVmeV;while the thermal activation energy,ΔEτ,of RBCs relaxation time is aboutΔEτ=140 *** experimental data have been modeled by a physical-model and good fittings have been found between calculated and experimental *** effective number of charges,nG,T,is estimated after Cole and Cole *** has found that nG,T increases with both temperature,T,and with the glycation rate *** increase may shed some light on an effective and possible way to treat(and to detect)diabetes disorders via eliminating the excess electric charges produced by glycation *** present work sheds the light on the possible combination of focused ultrasound with magnetic resonance imaging to study the dielectric-thermal variations of glycated-RBCs,which can lead to very precise and non-invasive monitoring of glycation concentration in vivo and in vitro via magnetic resonance-thermometry.

Spot urinary sodium for assessing dietary sodium restriction in cirrhotic ascites

AIm： To evaluate the accuracy of spot urinary Na/K and Na/creatinine （Cr） ratios as an alternative to 24-h urinary sodium in monitoring dietary compliance in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites treated with diuretics. mETHODS： The study was carried on 40 patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites treated with diuretic therapy. Patients were divided into two groups according to 24-h urinary sodium. We measured spot urine Na/K ratio, Na/ Cr ratio and 24-h urinary sodium. Student＇s t test was used to compare the interval variables and x^2 test to compare the nominal variables between the two groups. Receiver operator characteristic curve was used to identify the best cutoff point for Na/K and Na/Cr ratio. RESULTS： The best cutoff point for Na/K ratio was 2.5 （P 〈 0.001） and area under the curve （AUC） was 0.9, and for Na/Cr ratio, the best cutoff point was 35 （P 〈 0.001） and AUC was 0.885. Na/K ratio showed higher sensitivity and accuracy compared to Na/Cr ratio （87.5% and 87% for Na/K ratio; 81% and 85% for Na/Cr ratio, respectively）. CONCLUSION： Spot urine Na/K ratio has adequate accuracy for assessment of dietary sodium restriction compared with 24-h urinary sodium in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites.

A focus on parietal cells as a renewing cell population

The fact that the acidsecreting parietal cells undergo continuous renewal has been ignored by many gastroenterologists and cell biologists. In the past, it was thought that these cells were static. However, by using 3Hthymidine radioautography in combination with electron microscopy, it was possible to demonstrate that parietal cells belong to a continuously renewing epithelial cell lineage. In the gastric glands, stem cells anchored in the isthmus region are responsible for the production of parietal cells. The stem cells give rise to three main progenitors: prepit, preneck and preparietal cells. Parietal cells develop either directly from the noncycling preparietal cells or less commonly via differentiation of the cycling prepit and preneck cell progenitors. The formation of a parietal cell is a sequential process which involves diminishment of glycocalyx, production of cytoplasmic tubulovesicles, an increase in number and length of microvilli, an increase in number and size of mitochondria, and fi nally, expansion and invagination of the apical membrane with the formation of an intracellular canalicular system. Little is known about the genetic counterparts of these morphological events. However, the time dimension of parietal cell production and the consequences of its alteration on the biological features of the gastric gland are well documented. The production of a new parietal cell takes about 2 d. However, mature parietal cells have a long lifespan during which they migrate bidirectionally while their functional activity for acid secretion gradually diminishes. Following an average lifespan of about 54 d, in mice, old parietal cells undergo degeneration and elimination. Various approaches for genetic alteration of the development of parietal cells have provided evidence in support of their role as governors of the stem/progenitor cell proliferation and differentiation programs. Thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate catalyzed with CuO nanoparticles

Ammonium perchlorate(APC)is the most common oxidizer in use for solid rocket propulsion *** its initial thermal decomposition is an endothermic process that requires 102.5 J·g^-*** manner involves high activation energy and could render high burning rate *** study reports on the sustainable fabrication of CuO nanoparticles as a novel catalyzing agent for APC *** CuO nanoparticles with consistent product quality were fabricated by using hydrothermal *** micrographs demonstrated mono-dispersed particles of 15 nm particle *** diffractogram demonstrated highly crystalline *** synthesized colloidal CuO particles were effectively coated with APC particles via co-precipitation by using fast-crash solvent-antisolvent *** impact of copper oxide particles on APC thermal behavior has been investigated using DSC and TGA *** demonstrated an initial endothermic decomposition stage at 242℃ with subsequent two exothermic decomposition stages at 297,8℃ and 452.8℃ *** 1 wt%,copper oxide offered decrease in initial endothermic decomposition stage by 30%.The main outcome of this study is that the two main exothermic decomposition peaks were merged into one single peak with an increase in total heat release by 53%.These novel features can inherit copper oxide particles unique catalyzing ability for advanced highly energetic systems.

An approach to evaluate the efficiency of γ-ray detectors to determine the radioactivity in environmental samples

This work provides an approach to determine the efficiency of T-ray detectors with a good accuracy in order to determine the concentrations of either naturally occurring or artificially prepared radionuclides. This approach is based on the efficiency transfer formula （ET）, the effective solid angles, the self- absorptions of the source matrix, the attenuation by the source container and the detector housing materials on the detector efficiency. The experimental calibration process was done using radioactive （Cylindrical ＆ marinelli） sources, in different dimensions, that contain aqueous 152Eu radionuclide. The comparison point to a fine agreement between the experimental measured and calculated efficiencies for the （NaI ＆ HPGe） detectors using volumetric radioactive sources.

In recent times,scientists and engineers have been most attracted to electrically conducted nanofluids due to their numerous applications in various fields of science and *** example,they are used in cancer treatment(hyperthermia),magnetic resonance imaging(mRI),drugdelivery,and magnetic refrigeration(mR).Bearing in mind the significance and importance of electrically conducted nanofluids,this article aims to study an electrically conducted water-based nanofluid containing carbon nanotubes(CNTs).CNTs are of two types,single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and multiple-wall carbon nanotubes(mWCNTs).The CNTs(SWCNTs and mWCNTs)have been dispersed in regular water as base fluid to form waterCNTs *** Brinkman Type nanofluid model is developed in terms of time-fractional *** ramped heating and sinusoidal oscillations conditions have been taken at the *** model has been solved for exact analytical solutions via the fractional Laplace transform *** exact solutions have been graphically studied to explore the physics of various pertinent flow parameters on velocity and temperature *** empirical results reveal that the temperature and velocity fields decreased with increasing values of fractional parameters due to variation in thermal and momentum boundary *** is also indicated that the isothermal velocity and temperature are higher than ramped velocity and temperature.

QSm-IDm -A novel quadrature spatial modulation based on interleaving division multiplexing for multiple antenna system

Quadrature Spatial modulation (QSm) is a high spectral efficiency multiple-Input multiple Output (mImO) technique used to improve the spectral efficiency of wireless communication systems. The main concept of QSm is to extend the spatial constellation of the conventional Spatial modulation (Sm) in both the in-phase and quadrature components of the data symbol. In this paper, because QSm-based on Interleaxdng Division multiplexing (IDm) has not been introduced in the literature as a multiple antenna system, we introduced a novel scheme, called QSm system based on Interleaving Division multiplexing (QSm-IDm). The antenna sets are also applied to a spreader, before being used to assign an antenna number for information transmission. Analysis and simulations for a flat fading channel show that the proposed QSm-IDm method significantly outperforms the original QSm system with the same data rate, while maintaining a relatively acceptable complexity. The obtained simulation results show that the conducted analysis yields significant improvements for the accuracy of the proposed scheme, with satisfactory complexity.

The utilization of solar energy is essential to all living things since the beginning of *** addition to being a constant source of energy,solar energy(SE)can also be used to generate heat and *** technology enables to convert the solar energy into electricity by using thermal solar *** energy is perhaps the most easily accessible and plentiful source of sustainable ***-based nanofluid has been considered as a method to improve solar collector performance by absorbing incoming solar energy *** goal of this research is to explore theoretically the Agrawal axisymmetric flow induced by Cu-water nanofluid over a moving permeable disk caused by solar ***,the impacts of maxwell velocity and Smoluchowski temperature slip are incorporated to discuss the fine points of nanofluid flow and characteristics of heat *** primary partial differential equations are transformed to similarity equations by employing similarity variables and then utilizing bvp4c to resolve the set of equations *** current numerical approach can produce double solutions by providing suitable initial *** addition,the results revealed that the impact of solar collector efficiency enhances significantly due to nanoparticle volume *** suction parameter delays the boundary layer ***,stability analysis is performed and is found that the upper solution is stable and physically trustworthy while the lower one is unstable.

Course Evaluation Based on Deep Learning and SSA Hyperparameters Optimization

Sentiment analysis attracts the attention of Egyptian Decisionmakers in the education *** offers a viable method to assess education quality services based on the students’feedback as well as that provides an understanding of their *** machine learning techniques offer automated strategies to process big data derived from social media and other digital channels,this research uses a dataset for tweets’sentiments to assess a few machine learning *** dataset preprocessing to remove symbols,necessary stemming and lemmatization is performed for features *** is followed by several machine learning techniques and a proposed Long Short-Term memory(LSTm)classifier optimized by the Salp Swarm Algorithm(SSA)and measured the corresponding ***,the validity and accuracy of commonly used classifiers,such as Support Vector machine,Logistic Regression Classifier,and Naive Bayes classifier,were ***,LSTm based on the SSA classification model was compared with Support Vector machine(SVm),Logistic Regression(LR),and Naive Bayes(NB).Finally,as LSTm based SSA achieved the highest accuracy,it was applied to predict the sentiments of students’feedback and evaluate their association with the course outcome evaluations for education quality purposes.

This paper introduced an efficient compression technique that uses the compressive sensing(CS)method to obtain and recover sparse electrocardiography(ECG)*** recovery of the signal can be achieved by using sampling rates lower than the Nyquist frequency.A novel analysis was proposed in this *** apply CS on ECG signal,the first step is to generate a sparse signal,which can be obtained using modified Discrete Cosine Transform(mDCT)on the given *** transformation is a promising key for other transformations used in this search domain and can be considered as the main contribution of this paper.A small number of wavelet components can describe the ECG signal as related work to obtain a sparse *** technique for ECGsignal compression,which is a novel area of research,is *** signals are introduced randomly between any successive beats of the ***-BIH database can be represented as the experimental database in this domain of ***-BIH database consists of various ECG signals involving a patient and standard ECG *** can be considered as the simulation tool used in this *** proposed method’s uniqueness was inspired by the compression ratio(CR)and achieved by *** performance measurement of the recovered signal was done by calculating the percentage root mean difference(PRD),mean square error(mSE),and peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR)besides the calculation of ***,the simulation results indicated that this work is one of the most important works in ECG signal compression.
