Efficacy of laparoscopic low anterior resection for colorectal cancer patients with 3D-vascular reconstruction for left coronary artery preservation

BACKGROUND Laparoscopic low anterior resection(LLAR)has become a mainstream surgical method for the treatment of colorectal cancer,which has shown many advantages in the aspects of surgical trauma and postoperative ***,the effect of surgery on patients'left coronary artery and its vascular reconstruction have not been deeply *** the development of medical imaging technology,3D vascular reconstruction has become an effective means to evaluate the curative effect of *** To investigate the clinical value of preoperative 3D vascular reconstruction in LLAR of rectal cancer with the left colic artery(LCA)*** A retrospective cohort study was performed to analyze the clinical data of 146 patients who underwent LLAR for rectal cancer with LCA preservation from January to December 2023 in our *** patients underwent LLAR of rectal cancer with the LCA preserved,and the intraoperative and postoperative data were *** patients were divided into a reconstruction group(72 patients)and a nonreconstruction group(74 patients)according to whether 3D vascular reconstruction was performed before *** clinical features,operation conditions,complications,pathological results and postoperative recovery of the two groups were collected and *** A total of 146 patients with rectal cancer were included in the study,including 72 patients in the reconstruction group and 74 patients in the nonreconstruction *** were 47 males and 25 females in the reconstruction group,aged(59.75±6.2)years,with a body mass index(BMI)(24.1±2.2)kg/m2,and 51 males and 23 females in the nonreconstruction group,aged(58.77±6.1)years,with a BMI(23.6±2.7)kg/*** was no significant difference in the baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).In the submesenteric artery reconstruction group,35 patients were type I,25 patients were type II,11 patients were type III,and 1 patient was type *** were 37 type I patients,24 ty

Ultrasound (US) has become one of the most commonly performed imaging modalities in clinical practice. It is a rapidly evolving technology with certain advantages and with unique challenges that include low imaging quality and high variability. From the perspective of image analysis, it is essential to develop advanced automatic US image analysis methods to assist in US diagnosis and/or to make such assessment more objective and accurate. Deep learning has recently emerged as the leading machine learning tool in various research fields, and especially in general imaging analysis and computer vision. Deep learning also shows huge potential for various automatic US image analysis tasks. This review first briefly introduces several popular deep learning architectures, and then summarizes and thoroughly discusses their applications in various specific tasks in US image analysis, such as classification, detection, and segmentation. Finally, the open challenges and potential trends of the future application of deep learning in medical US image analysis are discussed.

The flora of China is well known for its high diversity and endemism. Identifying centers of endemism and designating conservation priorities are essential goals for biodiversity ***, there is no comprehensive study from a rigorous phylogenetic perspective to understand patterns of diversity and endemism and to guide biodiversity conservation in China. We conducted a spatial phylogenetic analysis of the Chinese angiosperm flora at the generic level to identify centers of neo-and paleoendemism. Our results indicate that:(i) themajority of grid cells in China with significantly high phylogenetic endemism(PE) were located in the mountainous regions;(ii) four of the nine centers of endemism recognized, located in northern and western China, were recognized for the first time;(iii) arid and semiarid regions in Northwest China were commonly linked to significant PE, consistent with other spatial phylogenetic studies worldwide;and(iv) six highpriority conservation gaps were detected by overlaying the boundaries of China’s nature reserves on all significant PE cells. Overall, we conclude that the mountains of southern and northern China contain both paleo-endemics(ancient relictual lineages) and neo-endemics(recently diverged lineages). The areas we highlight as conservation priorities are important for broad-scale planning, especially in the context of evolutionary history preservation.

NUMB is an evolutionarily conserved protein that plays an important role in cell adhesion,migration,polarity,and cell fate *** has also been shown to play a role in the pathogenesis of certain cancers,although it remains controversial whether NUMB functions as an oncoprotein or tumor ***,we show that NUMB binds to anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK),a receptor tyrosine kinase aberrantly activated in several forms of cancer,and this interaction regulates the endocytosis and activity of ***,the function of the NUMB-ALK interaction is *** both p66-NUMB and p72-NUMB isoforms are capable of mediating the endocytosis of ALK,the former directs ALK to the lysosomal degradation pathway,thus decreasing the overall ALK level and the downstream MAP kinase *** contrast,the p72-NUMB isoform promotes ALK recycling back to the plasma membrane,thereby maintaining the kinase in its active *** work sheds light on the controversial role of different isoforms of NUMB in tumorigenesis and provides mechanistic insight into ALK regulation.

参照美国标准实验方法(ASTM)中关于汞的OHM等速取样和化学分析法,结合汞的SCEM在线测量技术,利用一多功能流动实验室,对一满负荷运行的100MW煤粉锅炉尾部烟气系统进行了单质汞、氧化态汞和颗粒态汞的现场测试和分析.得到了空气预热器、静电除尘器前后烟气中气态、固态和烟气中总汞的浓度及其分布.结果表明烟气中气态总汞的浓度随温度的降低发生着氧化态汞向颗粒汞的转化.在ESP之后的清洁烟气中,OHM和SCEM方法的测试结果吻合较好;在含颗粒浓度较高的烟气中,2种方法存在较大的偏差,原因在于OHM取样过滤器中形成一定厚度的飞灰.该飞灰颗粒对烟气中气态汞有吸附作用并形成颗粒汞.
