As a typical strongly correlated transition oxide,vanadium dioxide(VO_(2))based nanomaterials have drawn many research attentions these years due to the giant metal-to-insulator phase transition(MIPT)at around 68℃.However,due to the complexities of the V-O system and interplays between various vanadium oxide phases,the synthesis of high-quality VO_(2)nanopowders is still fraught with many challenges,especially in air *** this paper,we report a novel air atmosphere available liquid-shielding synthesis method for thermochromic VO_(2)nanoparticles,by using low-eutectic molten-salt(LiCl-KCl)as the liquid-state air-insulation medium at elevated temperature and high-pressure pressed VOSO_(4)-KCl pillars immersed in these liquid salts as the *** amounts of glucose are added to introduce a slight reductive environment,and well dispersed VO_(2)nanoparticles with excellent ther-mochromic properties can be directly synthesized at an ultra-low temperature of 375℃.This feasible and atmosphere-available mass-production method is rarely reported in the related fields,which may provide a novel protocol strategy for the synthesis of high performance thermochromic VO_(2)and other functional oxide powders.

Numerical Simulation of Asphaltene Precipitation and Deposition during Natural Gas and CO_(2) Injection

Asphaltene deposition is a signiﬁcant problem during gas injection processes,as it can block the porous medium,the wellbore,and the involved facilities,signiﬁcantly impacting reservoir productivity and ultimate oil *** a few studies have investigated the numerical modeling of this potential effect in porous *** study focuses on asphaltene deposition due to natural gas and CO_(2) *** of the effect of gas injection on asphaltene deposition behavior have been made using a 3D numerical simulation *** results indicate that the injection of natural gas exacerbates asphaltene deposition,leading to a signiﬁcant reduction in permeability near the injection well and throughout the *** reduction in permeability strongly affects the ability of gas toﬂow through the reservoir,resulting in an improvement of the displacement *** displacement efﬁ-ciency of the injection gas process increases by up to 1.40%when gas is injected at 5500 psi,compared to the scenario where the asphaltene model is not ***_(2) injection leads to a miscible process with crude oil,extracting light and intermediate components,which intensiﬁes asphaltene precipitation and increases the viscosity of the remaining crude oil,ultimately reducing the recovery rate.

Objective:Epigenetic abnormalities have a critical role in breast cancer by regulating gene expression;however,the intricate interrelationships and key roles of approximately 400 epigenetic regulators in breast cancer remain *** is important to decipher the comprehensive epigenetic regulatory network in breast cancer cells to identify master epigenetic regulators and potential therapeutic ***:We employed high-throughput sequencing-based high-throughput screening(HTS^(2))to effectively detect changes in the expression of 2,986 genes following the knockdown of 400 epigenetic ***,bioinformatics analysis tools were used for the resulting gene expression signatures to investigate the epigenetic regulations in breast ***:Utilizing these gene expression signatures,we classified the epigenetic regulators into five distinct clusters,each characterized by specific *** discovered functional similarities between BAZ2B and SETMAR,as well as CLOCK and ***,we observed that CLOCK functions in a manner opposite to that of HDAC8 in downstream gene ***,we constructed an epigenetic regulatory network based on the gene expression signatures,which revealed 8 distinct modules and identified 10 master epigenetic regulators in breast ***:Our work deciphered the extensive regulation among hundreds of epigenetic *** identification of 10 master epigenetic regulators offers promising therapeutic targets for breast cancer treatment.

Chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR-T)cell therapy achieved advanced progress in the treatment of hematological ***,the application of CAR-T cell therapy for solid tumors still faces many *** with tumor cells for metabolic resources in an already nutrient-poor tumor microenvironment is a major contributing cause to CAR-T cell therapy’s low *** metabolic processes are now acknowledged to shape the tumor microenvironment,which is characterized by increased interstitial fluid pressure,low pH level,hypoxia,accumulation of immunosuppressive metabolites,and mitochondrial *** factors are important contributors to restriction of T cell proliferation,cytokine release,and suppression of tumor cell-killing *** review provides an overview of how different metabolites regulate T cell activity,analyzes the current dilemmas,and proposes key strategies to reestablish the CAR-T cell therapy’s effectiveness through targeting metabolism,with the aim of providing new strategies to surmount the obstacle in the way of solid tumor CAR-T cell treatment.

Lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)are among the most promising series of next-generation high density energy storage ***,the problem of“shuttle effect”caused by dissolution and migration of polysulfide intermediates has severely inhibited their practical ***,TiO_(2)-carbon nanocomposites embedded hierarchical porous carbon(T-hPC)interlayers are fabricated via Ti_(3)C_(2)MXene assisted phase separation and annealing *** T-hPC processes micro-to macro-scale multipores along with highly adsorptive and catalytic carbon supported TiO_(2) nanoparticles,which significantly enhances the polysulfides immobilization and improves the redox reaction kinetics when applied as lithium-sulfur battery *** initial discharge specific capacity of 1551.1 m Ah/g and a stable capacity of 893.8 m Ah/g after 200 cycles at 0.5 C are obtained,corresponding to a capacity decay rate of only 0.04%per *** investigations in this paper can provide a simple and effective strategy to enhance the electrochemical properties for lithium-sulfur batteries.

Shor's algorithm does not factor large integers in the presence of noise

We consider Shor's quantum factoring algorithm in the setting of noisy quantum gates. Under a generic model of random noise for(controlled) rotation gates, we prove that the algorithm does not factor integers of the form pq when the noise exceeds a vanishingly small level in terms of n—the number of bits of the integer to be factored, where p and q are from a well-defined set of primes of positive density. We further prove that with probability 1-o(1) over random prime pairs(p, q), Shor's factoring algorithm does not factor numbers of the form pq, with the same level of random noise present.

DC-DC converter-based multi-bus DC microgrids(MGs) in series have received much attention, where the conflict between voltage recovery and current balancing has been a hot topic. The lack of models that accurately portray the electrical characteristics of actual MGs while is controller design-friendly has kept the issue active. To this end, this paper establishes a large-signal model containing the comprehensive dynamical behavior of the DC MGs based on the theory of high-order fully actuated systems, and proposes distributed optimal control based on this. The proposed secondary control method can achieve the two goals of voltage recovery and current sharing for multi-bus DC MGs. Additionally, the simple structure of the proposed approach is similar to one based on droop control, which allows this control technique to be easily implemented in a variety of modern microgrids with different configurations. In contrast to existing studies, the process of controller design in this paper is closely tied to the actual dynamics of the MGs. It is a prominent feature that enables engineers to customize the performance metrics of the system. In addition, the analysis of the stability of the closed-loop DC microgrid system, as well as the optimality and consensus of current sharing are given. Finally, a scaled-down solar and battery-based microgrid prototype with maximum power point tracking controller is developed in the laboratory to experimentally test the efficacy of the proposed control method.
