EVI2A has emerged as a significant biomarker in various diseases;however,its biological role and mechanism in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma(KIRC)remains *** used TCGA and GEO databases to analyze EVI2A gene expression comprehensively and performed pan-cancer *** relevance was evaluated through Kaplan-Meier analysis and ROC *** gene’s immune relevance was explored through analyses of the tumor microenvironment(TME),Tumor Immune Single-cell Hub(TISCH),immune checkpoints,and immunotherapy *** results indicate that EVI2A expression is upregulated in KIRC,showing correlations with tumor grade and T/N/M ***2A demonstrates high diagnostic accuracy(AUC=0.906)and predicts poor overall and progression-free survival in KIRC ***,EVI2A expression exhibits significant associations with immunity,including TME scores and specific immune cell types such as Tfh cells,CD4 memory T cells,and CD8+T *** EVI2A expression suggests increased sensitivity to PD-1/CTLA-4 and tyrosine kinase *** vitro assays confirmed the impact of EVI2A on KIRC behavior,with its knockdown resulting in reduced cell proliferation and *** conclusion,our comprehensive analysis identifies EVI2A as a promising biomarker and a novel therapeutic target for intervening in *** findings hold significant implications for further research and potential clinical applications.

Objective：To investigate the method and effect of nephron-sparing surgery in the treatment of small renal cell carcinoma. Methods： From August 1 997 to October 2008, 48 cases of small renal cell carcinomas were confirmed by surgery and pathology, and reviewed retrospectively. Of the 48 cases, there was 1 patient with bilateral tumors, 8 with solitary kidney tumors, 1 with unilateral tumor and a damaged contralateral kidney, and 38 with unilateral tumors and a normal contralateral kidney; 9 underwent tumor enucleation and the remaining patients received partial nephrectomy. Results：There were no local tumor recurrences and/or tumor metastasis at a mean followup of 60 months. Conclusion： Confirming conclusions from other centers, we have found that nephron-sparing surgery is an effective treatment for small renal cell carcinomas.

目的了解代谢综合征(MS)及其各组分与前列腺癌发病风险之间的关系。方法回顾性分析2003年9月—2009年9月福建医科大学附属协和医院收治的211例前列腺癌患者(前列腺癌组)的临床资料,包括年龄、身高、体重、血压、空腹血糖、前列腺特异性抗原(PSA)、三酰甘油、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)及总胆固醇水平。随机选取同期同一年龄段在门诊进行体格检查的非前列腺疾病人群215名(NPG组)及良性前列腺增生(BPH)患者215例(BPH组)作为对照。结果前列腺癌组的MS发病率为16.6%(35/211),显著低于NPG组的24.7%(53/215,P=0.04),与BPH组18.6%(40/215)的差异无统计学意义(P=0.585)。前列腺癌、BPH和NPG组3组间平均年龄的差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。前列腺癌组与BPH组间MS各诊断指标构成比的差异均无统计学意义(P值均>0.05)。前列腺癌组与NPG组间除血压构成比的差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)外,体质指数(BMI)、空腹血糖、三酰甘油、血浆总胆固醇、HDL-C、LDL-C构成比的差异均有统计学意义(P值均0.05)。结论前列腺癌患者的代谢水平与BPH患者相似,但与非前列腺疾病人群存在显著差异。MS可能是前列腺癌的保护性因素,随着MS组分数量的增多,患前列腺癌的风险将减小。低水平HDL-C可能是前列腺癌的危险因素,高血糖、高三酰甘油水平可能是前列腺癌的保护性因素,BMI及血压与前列腺癌的发生无明显相关性。

Objective:Real-word data on long-acting luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone(LHRH)agonists in Chinese patients with prostate cancer are *** study aimed to determine the real-world effectiveness and safety of the LHRH agonist,goserelin,particularly the long-acting 10.8-mg depot formulation,and the follow-up patterns among Chinese prostate cancer ***:This was a multicenter,prospective,observational study in hormone treatment-na?ve patients with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer who were prescribed goserelin 10.8-mg depot every 12 weeks or 3.6-mg depot every 4 weeks with or without an *** patients had follow-up evaluations for 26 *** primary outcome was the effectiveness of goserelin in reducing serum testosterone and prostate-specific antigen(PSA)*** secondary outcomes included testosterone and PSA levels,attainment of chemical castration(serum testosterone<50 ng/d L),and goserelin *** exploratory outcome was the monitoring pattern for serum testosterone and *** analyses were ***:Between September 2017 and December 2019,a total of 294 eligible patients received≥1 dose of goserelin;287 patients(97.6%)were treated with goserelin 10.8-mg *** week 24±2,the changes from baseline[standard deviation(95%confidence interval)]in serum testosterone(n=99)and PSA(n=131)were-401.0 ng/d L[308.4 ng/d L(-462.5,-339.5 ng/d L)]and-35.4 ng/m L[104.4 ng/m L(-53.5,-17.4 ng/m L)],*** 112 evaluable patients,100(90.2%)achieved a serum testosterone level<50 ng/d ***-emergent adverse events(TEAEs)and severe TEAEs occurred in 37.1%and 10.2%of patients,*** mean testing frequency(standard deviation)was 1.6(1.5)for testosterone and 2.2(1.6)for ***:Goserelin 10.8-mg depot effectively achieved and maintained castration and was well-tolerated in Chinese patients with localized and locally advanced prostate cancer.
