Orthogonal Time Frequency and Space(OTFS) modulation is expected to provide high-speed and ultra-reliable communications for emerging mobile applications, including low-orbit satellite communications. Using the Doppler frequency for positioning is a promising research direction on communication and navigation integration. To tackle the high Doppler frequency and low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) in satellite communication, this paper proposes a Red and Blue Frequency Shift Discriminator(RBFSD) based on the pseudo-noise(PN) *** paper derives that the cross-correlation function on the Doppler domain exhibits the characteristic of a Sinc function. Therefore, it applies modulation onto the Delay-Doppler domain using PN sequence and adjusts Doppler frequency estimation by red-shifting or blue-shifting. Simulation results show that the performance of Doppler frequency estimation is close to the Cramér-Rao Lower Bound when the SNR is greater than -15dB. The proposed algorithm is about 1/D times less complex than the existing PN pilot sequence algorithm, where D is the resolution of the fractional Doppler.

Over the last three decades,flexibility and controllability considerations for heat exchanger networks(HENs)have received great attention,***,they should be simultaneously incorporated in HEN synthesis to allow the economic performance to be achievable in a practical operating *** paper proposes a method for simultaneous synthesis of flexible and controllable HEN by considering their *** key idea is to add the bypasses with optimized initial fractions and positions to explore such coupling,and consequently enabling HENs to be operated successfully over a range of disturbance *** are implemented by identifying and quantifying disturbance propagations,and then examining the sensitivity of bypasses to the entire *** this way,the superstructurebased mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP)with objective function of minimizing the total annual cost is formulated.A case study is used to demonstrate the application of the proposed *** measures and dynamic simulation show the ability to provide the satisfactory flexibility and controllability of the obtained HEN.

Investigating the distribution of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)in the swimming crab, Portunus trituberculatus,helps in the understanding of its reproductive regulation *** study has detected the location of vertebrate FSH-and LH-like substances in the brain and the thoracic ganglion mass with immunocytochemical *** immunoreaction is very weak or negative during the immature period and the post-spawning period,while it is stronger in the mature *** of FSH-like immunoreactive cells resembles that of LH-like *** immunoreactive cells were observed chiefly in the anterior median cell-cluster of the protocerebrum with stronger *** were only a few in the inboard cell-cluster of the olfactory lobe of the deutocerebrum and the posterior cell-cluster of the *** cells were located in all the three ganglia in the thoracic ganglion *** results indicated that substances resembling the vertebrate FSH and LH exist in ***,and their expression has some correlation with the developmental stage of ovaries,thus they might engage in the ovary development and ovulation.

The brain and the thoracic ganglion of a crustacean can synthesize and secrete gonad-stimulating hormone(GSH)which stimulates the maturation of *** the previous experiments,sex steroid hormones(estradiol,testosterone,progesterone,etc.)have been detected from the ***,the feedback regulation of sex steroid hormones on the brain and the thoracic ganglion of the crustacean has not been reported so *** the present experiment,monoclonal antibodies were applied to investigate the immuno-recognition of estrogen receptor(ER)and androgen receptor(AR)in the brain and the thoracic ganglion mass of Scylla *** results showed that the distribution of the immunopositive substances of ER and AR was extremely *** distributed in the protocerebrum,deutocerebrum and tritocerebrum of the brain,and mainly in *** the thoracic ganglion mass,immuno-positive substances distributed in the subesophageal ganglion,thoracic ganglion and abdominal ganglion,and mostly in subesophageal *** substances of ER and AR mostly existed in the cytoplasm of *** present study will provide mor-phological evidence for the origin and the evolution of ER and *** addition,the immunoreactivities of ER and AR suggested that the estrogen and androgen may be involved in the feedback regulation of crustacean neuroendocrine.

Exploratory study on resilience and its influencing factors among hospital nurses in Guangzhou,China

Background:Currently,building resilience in nurses is recognized as an important factor that helps maintain their health and stay in their profession;thus,identifying which factors can help them build resilience is ***:A cross-sectional survey design was used,and 1356 nurses from 11 general hospitals in Guangzhou,China,were assessed using the Chinese version of the Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale,the General Self-Efficacy Scale,the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire,and the Job Stress Scale of Chinese *** demographic characteristics of participants were also ***:The mean total score of nurses' resilience is 59.99 (SD 13.59),which was significantly lower (P < 0.001) than that of the general people in *** regression analysis affirmed that the factors which influence the resilience of nurses include self-efficacy,coping style,job stress,and education level (R2 =49.4%,P < 0.001).Conclusion:Nurses had low *** could not effectively cope with job challenges and recover from *** self-efficacy,choosing active coping,decreasing job stress,and enhancing educational training can effectively improve their resilience.

Genetic diversity and differentiation of mud crab Scylla serrata populations from southeastern China

The genetic diversity and differentiation of 6 mud crab Scylla serrata populations from southeastern China are investigated using allozyme electrophoresis. The mean number of alleles per locus population is 1.3 ± 0.1; the percentage of polymorphic loci per population is 27.3; the observed heterozygosity ranges from (0.195±0.083) to ( 0.241±0.090) and the expected heterozygosity ranges from ( 0.105±0.043 ) to ( 0.131±0.047 ). The coefficient of gene differentiation among populations is low (Fst =0.032), indicating that only 3.2 % of the total genetic diversity comes from inter-population, while the remaining 96.8 % comes from intra-population differences. The genetic distance among populations is 0.000-0.008 (the average is 0.002). Gene flow among the populations is large (Nm = 7.56).Genetic structure is very similar among 6 Scylla serrata populations.

Mating behaviors in ovoviviparous black rockfish(Sebastes schlegelii):molecular function of prostaglandin E2 as both a hormone and pheromone

The selective detection of Cu and S in pure water system has been very challenging.[1] To address this problem, we now present a novel fluorescent probe CF536 for reversible detection of Cu and S in a 100% aqueous solution via displacement approach based on fluorescence quenching and ESIPT mechanism. The introduction of Cu(1.0 equiv) to the aqueous solution of CF536 led to the intensive green fluorescence quenching within 2 min and then on the addition of S (3.0 equiv), the emission of this ESIPT probe soon recovered from the above CF536-Cu system.

Prostaglandins(PGs)are profound hormones in teleost sexual behavior,especially in *** act as pheromones that affect the olfactory sensory neurons of males,inducing the initiation of a series of mating ***,the molecular mechanism by which PGs trigger mating behavior in ovoviviparous teleosts is still *** the present study,we employed the ovoviviparous black rockfish(Sebastes schlegelii),an economically important marine species whose reproductive production is limited by incomplete fertilization,as a model *** results showed that when the dose of PGE2 was higher than 10 nmol/L,a significant(P<0.05)increase in mating behaviors was ***-fluorescence in situ hybridization indicated that PGE2 could fire specific neurons in different brain regions and receptor cells in the olfactory *** combining with specific neurons in the central nervous system(CNS),a series of genes related to reproduction are *** intracerebroventricular administration of PGE_(2) significantly increased lhb levels(P<0.05)in both ***,steroidogenesis in gonads was also affected,inducing an increase(P<0.05)in E_(2) levels in males and T levels in ***_(2) levels were also increased significantly(P<0.05)in both *** present study revealed that PGE2 can activate mating behavior in black rockfish in both hormone and pheromone pathways,leading to variations in sex steroid levels and activation of reproductive *** results provide not only novel insight into the onset of mating behaviors in ovoviviparous teleosts but also solutions for the incomplete fertilization caused by natural mating in cage aquaculture.

The ovary contains four morphological components: (1) the ovarian wall, (2) the reproductive epithelium, (3) the cellular layer containing oocytes, oogonia (especially for early-developing ovary) and follicle cells, and (4) the extensions of the ovarian wall. The ovarian wall and its extensions consist of blood vessels, sinuses, muscle cells and others. The extensions of the ovarian wall project into among the follicles and insert on the thick basal membrane of each follicle. From inside to outside, the follicles are composed of four parts: (1) the oocyte, (2) the perivitelline space, (3) the follicle cells, and (4) the basal membrane. The surface of the oocyte during vitellogenesis is folded into numerous long microvilli that project into the perivitelline space between the oocyte surface and the bace of the follicle cell layer. In addition, the plasma membrane of the vitellogenic oocyte contains many pinocytotic pits. The perivitelline space is engorged with with more electron- denser material as the development of the follicle. The inclusion of perivitelline space in the mature follicle is named specially as the chorine. The chorion is composed of two region, a thinner exochorion and a thicker endochorion containing electron-dense granular material. The follicle cell layer is composed of a single layer of polygonal follicle cells which exhibit higher synthetic activity. The synthetic product of the follicle cell layer is one scarce for the inclusion of the perivitelline space. The structures of the ovary and ovarian follicle in T. orientalis show that the exogenously biosyn- thetic yolk plays important roles in the vitellogenesis.

Combining phototherapy and chemotherapy has been considered a promising modality for cancer therapy due to their synergistic ***,we developed three D-π-A-structured boron dipyrromethenes(BODIPYs)(named as B-B,B-C,and B-C-Pt).Due to their enlargedπ-conjugated structure and high intramolecular charge transfer effect,the synthesized BODIPYs had photothermal conversion capability,and their absorption and fluorescence spectra were *** cisplatin-appended BODIPY(B-C-Pt)exhibited good singlet oxygen(^1O_(2))generation ability and near infrared(NIR)absorption and fluorescence(λ_(Abs)=748 nm,λ_(Em)=947 nm).After being encapsulated by distearoyl phosphoethanolamine polyethyleneglycol 2000(DSPE-PEG-2000),which could inhibit the H-aggregation of B-C-Pt,the absorption and fluorescence of the obtained B-C-Pt nanoparticles(NPs)were red-shifted to 762 and 985 nm,***^1O_(2)quantum yield and photothermal conversion efficiency of the B-C-Pt NPs were 4.0%and 40.6%,***,B-C-Pt NPs had chemotherapeutic efficacy due to the presence of *** vitro and in vivo studies further demonstrated that B-C-Pt NPs had synergistic therapeutic ***,B-C-Pt NPs could be employed in NIRⅡfluorescent and photoacoustic imaging-guided synergistic phototherapy and chemotherapy for cancer treatment.
