Tunable topological polaritons by dispersion tailoring of an active metasurface

Hyperbolic polaritons are known to exist in materials with extreme anisotropy, exhibiting exotic optical properties that enable a plethora of unusual phenomena in the fields of polaritonics and ***, achieving simultaneous low-dimensionality, high-speed controllability, and on-demand reconfigurability of the polaritons remains unexplored despite their excellent potential in light–matter interactions, photonic integrated circuits, and optoelectronic devices. here, we propose a metasurface approach to integrating artificially engineered electromagnetic anisotropy with fast-controllable electronic elements, offering a new route to realize active topological polaritons. Experiments showcase the proposed reconfigurable metasurface can support real-time transitions of designer polaritons from elliptical to flat, and then to hyperbolic and circular isofrequency contours. Correspondingly, the in-plane surface wavefront undergoes the transitions from convex to collimating, concave, and eventually back to convex. By exploiting the topological variations in polariton dispersions, we observe intriguing phenomena of controllable field canalization and tunable planar focusing. Furthermore, we report the concept of a planar reconfigurable integrated polariton circuit by spatially tailoring the distributions of polariton isofrequency contours, unveiling rich dispersion engineering possibilities and active control capabilities. We may provide an inspiring platform for developing planar active plasmonic devices with potential applications in subdiffraction-resolution imaging,sensing, and information processing.

An in-situ polymerized interphase engineering for high-voltage allsolid- state lithium-metal batteries

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)have attracted great interest due to their promising energy density and strong ***,the interface issues,including large interfacial resistance between electrode and electrolyte and low electrochemical stability of solid-state electrolytes against high-voltage cathodes,have restricted the development of high-voltage ***,we report an ASSLB with stable cycling by adopting a conformal polymer interlayer in-situ formed at the Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)–cathode *** polymer can perfectlyﬁll the voids and create a stable interface contact between LLZTO and *** addition,the electric field across the polymer interlayer is reduced compared with pure solid polymer electrolyte(SPE),which facilitates the electrochemical stability with high-voltage *** all-solid-state Li|LLZTO-SPE|LiFe_(0.4)Mn_(0.6)PO_(4)(LMFP)cells achieve a low interface impedance,high specific capacity,and excellent cycling *** work presents an effective and practical strategy to rationally design the electrode–electrolyte interface for the application of high-voltage ASSLBs.

A framework of force of information influence and application for C4KISR system

The subversive nature of information war lies not only in the information itself, but also in the circulation and application of information. It has always been a challenge to quantitatively analyze the function and effect of information flow through command, control, communications, computer, kill, intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance (C4KISR) system. In this work, we propose a framework of force of information influence and the methods for calculating the force of information influence between C4KISR nodes of sensing, intelligence processing,decision making and fire attack. Specifically, the basic concept of force of information influence between nodes in C4KISR system is formally proposed and its mathematical definition is provided. Then, based on the information entropy theory, the model of force of information influence between C4KISR system nodes is constructed. Finally, the simulation experiments have been performed under an air defense and attack scenario. The experimental results show that, with the proposed force of information influence framework, we can effectively evaluate the contribution of information circulation through different C4KISR system nodes to the corresponding tasks. Our framework of force of information influence can also serve as an effective tool for the design and dynamic reconfiguration of C4KISR system architecture.

Ultrathin ternary PtNiGa nanowires for enhanced oxygen reduction reaction

Achieving high activity and durability for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)with an ultra-low amount of platinum is significant to promote the widespread application of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).here we report a new ultrathin(∼1 nm)ternary PtNiGa alloy nanowires(PtNiGa NWs)electrocatalyst,in which the presence of gallium(Ga)enhances the oxidation resistance of platinum(Pt)and nickel(Ni)and suppresses the dissolution of *** mass and specific activities of PtNiGa NWs are about 11.2 and 7.6 times higher than those of commercial Pt/C catalysts for ***,the mass activity of PtNiGa/C NWs nanocatalyst decreased only by 12.8%and largely retained its electrochemical surface area(ECSA)after 10,000 potential cycles,compared with 38%loss of ECSA for commercial Pt/C ***,this work provides a general guideline for preparing ternary alloy electrocatalysts and enhancing the activity and stability of the cathode ORR reaction of PEMFCs.

Simplistic framework of single-pixelprogrammable metasurfaces integrated with a capsuled LED array

Coding metasurfaces can manipulate electromagnetic wave in real time with high degree of freedom,the fascinating properties of which enrich the metasurface design with a wide range of application ***,most of the coding metasurfaces are designed based on external excitation framework with the wired electrical or wireless light control devices,thus inevitably causing the interference with electromagnetic wave transmission and increasing the complexity of the metasurface *** this work,a simplistic framework of single-pixel-programmable metasurfaces integrated with a capsuled LED array is proposed to dynamically control electromagnetic *** framework fully embeds the photoresistor in the meta-atom,controlling the LED array to directly illuminate the photoresistor to modulate the phase *** this manner,the complex biasing network is transformed to the universal LED array,which means the physical control framework can be transformed to a software framework,and thus the functions of the metasurface can be freely manipulated by encoding the capsuled LED array avoiding mutual coupling of adjacent meta-atoms in real *** the results verify that the far-field scattering pattern can be customized with this singlepixel-programmable ***,this work provides a universal framework for coding metasurface design,which lays the foundation for metasurface intelligent perception and adaptive modulation.

Activation of G-protein-coupled receptor 39 reduces neuropathic pain in a rat model

Activated G-protein-coupled receptor 39(GPR39)has been shown to attenuate inflammation by interacting with sirtuin 1(SIRT1)and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γcoactivator 1α(PGC-1α).However,whether GPR39 attenuates neuropathic pain remains *** this study,we established a Sprague-Dawley rat model of spared nerve injury-induced neuropathic pain and found that GPR39 expression was significantly decreased in neurons and microglia in the spinal dorsal horn compared with sham-operated *** injection of TC-G 1008,a specific agonist of GPR39,significantly alleviated mechanical allodynia in the rats with spared nerve injury,improved spinal cord mitochondrial biogenesis,and alleviated *** changes were abolished by GPR39 small interfering RNA(siRNA),Ex-527(SIRT1 inhibitor),and PGC-1α*** together,these findings show that GPR39 activation ameliorates mechanical allodynia by activating the SIRT1/PGC-1αpathway in rats with spared nerve injury.

42CrMo钢在乙醇胺体系下液相等离子电解渗层性能研究

利用液相等离子电解工艺,以50%浓度乙醇胺并适量添加NH4Cl的水溶液作为电解液对42Cr Mo钢进行处理,获得等离子电解共渗层。采用扫描电镜、金相显微镜、能谱仪、X射线衍射仪分别检测了电解共渗层表面形貌、元素成分及相组织结构。通过显微硬度计和电化学工作站对共渗层硬度和耐腐蚀性能进行表征。结果表明:在低于200 V电压下,采用非脉冲直流电源,利用等离子电解工艺获得了具有良好耐蚀性能的碳氮共渗层;共渗层由化合物层和扩散层组成,厚度达60μm。共渗层最高硬度为537 HV,比基体硬度提高了2倍。
