Chinese Medicine Combined with Adjuvant Chemotherapy for Improving Myelosuppression in Colorectal Cancer Patients:A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis

Objective To assess the effectiveness of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)combined with adjuvant chemotherapy on myelosuppression for colorectal cancer(CRC)patients using network meta-analysis(NMA).Methods Literature searches in both international(PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library)and Chinese(China Science and Technology Journal Database,Wanfang Data,China National Knowledge Infrastructure)databases for relevant randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were conducted from inception until October 10,*** included RCTs of patients who received CHM combined with chemotherapy,including FOLFOX,XELOX,FOLFIRI,and other relevant regimens in the CHM treatment *** outcomes included the incidence of myelosuppression,leukopenia,hemoglobin reduction,and *** reviewers independently screened the databases,extracted the data,and assessed the risk of bias and credibility of *** 5.4.1 software and STATA 14.0 were used to perform the *** A total of 31 RCTs were included,published from 2008 to 2021 in *** these,2,314 participants comparing the following 9 CHMs were identified:Shengbai Recipe(SBR),Bazhen Decoction(BZD),Jianpi Jiedu Recipe(JJR),Jianpi Recipe(JR),Compound Cantharis Capsule(CCC),Zaofan Pill(ZFP),Guilu Erxian Gel(GL),Buzhong Tiaogan Decoction(BZ),and Qiamagu Capsule(QM).The results of NMA found an indirect *** on the surface under the cumulative ranking curve(SUCRA),the ZFP+chemotherapy group had the lowest incidence of myelosuppression,with an odds ratio(OR)of 0.08[95%confidence interval(CI):0.01,0.76],whereas the GL+chemotherapy group had the lowest incidence of leukopenia,hemoglobin reduction,and thrombocytopenia,with an OR of 5.25(95%CI:2.41,11.43),4.66(95%CI:2.23,9.72),and 0.27(95%CI:0.13,0.54),***,BZD+chemotherapy could alleviate leukopenia,hemoglobin reduction,and thrombocytopenia(P<0.01).Pairwise comparison showed that there was no difference in the efficacy among the 8 CHMs+c

Party Politics in Socialist Countries:One Hundred Years of Exploration

Over the long history of political civilization,the 100 years of the party politics of socialist countries has emerged as a new form of *** of the last 100 years of the party politics of socialist countries deals with the self-governance and national governance of Marxist ruling *** reflects intraparty relationships,interparty relationships,relationships between party and government and relationships between party and society,as well as foreign relations,and spans three historical periods,comprising the first establishment of party politics in Soviet Russia;the adoption of party rule in other countries,with concomitant setbacks;and the achievement by China,Vietnam and other countries of party political innovation and development.A review of the experience of the past hundred years shows that success in making party politics the basic system in socialist countries and in tapping its full potential is attributable to the efforts made by Marxist ruling parties to undertake fruitful theoretical reflection and grasp values,adhere to the truth and correct mistakes on the basis of exceptional strategic confidence and policy commitment,while constantly opening up new stages of theoretical understanding and practical *** party politics of socialist countries in the 21 st century drives their modernization andcultivates and improves their *** union of the two in the magnificent historical process of the sustainable development of socialist institutional civilization will have major and far-reaching significance for building a brighter future for humanity.

中性粒细胞输注是一种临床辅助抗感染治疗方案,而用于输注的中性粒细胞的体外活性维持是影响该方案实施的有效性的关键点,目前也是相关研究的难点。因此,该文探索间充质干细胞(mesenchymal stem cell,MSC)培养上清与一些药物分子联合使用来延缓中性粒细胞的体外衰老和维持机体免疫功能,以期克服上述难题。通过分别采用不同培养条件(包括多种MSC培养上清、酸碱度调节培养基、影响中性粒细胞存活的多种药物分子及其组方等条件培养基)进行中性粒细胞的体外培养,并分别检测中性粒细胞的体外寿命及生物学功能。实验结果显示,相较于对照组(RPMI-1640培养基),MSC培养3天的培养上清可以更好地延长中性粒细胞的体外寿命,同时也可以维持中性粒细胞的ROS释放和吞噬等杀菌功能,两组之间具有显著性差异(P<0.01);通过进一步实验筛选和验证,与单纯使用MSC培养3天的培养上清相比,使用优化后的中性粒细胞条件培养基(MSC培养上清,pH为6.0,1μmol/L nicotine、10 ng/mL G-CSF、0.6 mmol/L NAC、10μmol/L DFP)显著延长了中性粒细胞的体外寿命(P<0.01)。总之,该研究发现间充质干细胞培养上清和多种药物分子组合可以更好地维持中性粒细胞的体外活性,这将为中性粒细胞的体外保存和输注研究提供较好的实验基础和理论依据。

Two-dimensional silica enhanced solid polymer electrolyte for lithium metal batteries

Solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)are promising substitutes for current flammable liquid electrolytes to achieve high-safety and high-energy-density lithium metal *** oxide(PEO)based solid polymer electrolytes have attracted increasing attention because of their excellent flexibility,manufacturability,light weight,and low-cost processing,while they often suffer from low ionic con-ductivity at room temperature,low lithium transference number and unsatisfactory interfacial resis-tance,which largely restrain their practical ***,two-dimensional holey silica nanosheets(2D-HSN)as the fillers,together with LiNO_(3) as the electrolyte additive,are introduced in a PEO/poly(-vinylidene fiuoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)blended polymer matrix to obtain a *** incorporation of HSN filler creates supplementary channels for lithium ion migration and lowers the crystallinity of the polymer,thereby facilitating the movement of lithium *** HSN-based SPE demonstrates higher ionic conductivity up to 3.7 x 10-4 S cm-1 at 30℃,larger Li+transference number close to 0.34,and more stable lithium plating/stripping than that without the fillers,and HSN can promote the formation of more stable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)*** as-assembled LiFePO4||Li batteries deliver a high specific capacity of 159 mA h g-1 with the capacity retention of 95.5%after 200 cycles at 30℃,as well as superior rate performance and cycling stability compared to that using the blank SPE.

Folfox4 regimen administered through combined hepatic arterial and systemic infusion for treatment of colorectal cancer with unresectable liver metastases

Background Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy for liver metastases is under evaluation because of the high target dose and low general toxicity. To investigate the efficacy and safety of a Folfox4 regimen administered through a combined hepatic arterial and systemic infusion for the first-line treatment of colorectal cancer （CRC） with unresectable liver metastases. Methods Twenty-seven CRC patients with unresectable hepatic metastases and no prior chemotherapy were enrolled into the study. They received a Folfox4 regimen; 1st day： HAl of oxaliplatin 85 mg/m2 and L-folinic acid 200 mg/m2, followed by a bolus hepatic arterial injection of 5-fluorouracil 400 mg/m2, then continuous HAl of 5-FU 600 mg/m2; 2nd day： infusion of L-folinic acid 200 mg/m2 i.v. followed by an intravenous bolus injection of 5-Fluorouraci1400 mg/m2, then continuous infusion of 5-fluorouracil 600 mg/m2 i.v. The patients received HAl during the odd cycles, and the intravenous administration of the same Folfox4 regimen during the even cycles. Results A total of 236 treatment cycles were given with a median of 10 cycles. The therapy generated the following results after six treatment cycles： complete response （CR） 1/27 （3.7%）, partial response （PR） 17/27 （63.0%）, stable disease （SD） 6/27 （22.2%）, and progress disease （PD） 3/27 （11.1%）. Five patients had hepatectomy. The serum levels of both carcinoembryonic antigen （CEA） and CA19-9 were significantly reduced （P〈0.05）. A median time to progression of 11 months and a median overall survival of 24 months were documented. The major adverse events included grade 1/2 nausea/vomiting, upper abdominal pain, peripheral neuropathy, and neutropenia/thrombocytopenia. Conclusions The Folfox4 regimen administered through combined hepatic arterial and systemic infusions is efficacious and safe for the treatment of CRC with unresectable liver metastases, and it facilitates the control of local lesions.

激活棕色脂肪组织(BAT)可以抑制实体肿瘤生长,然而其对正常或异常造血细胞的影响仍然不清楚。因此,该研究采用β3-肾上腺素受体激动剂米拉贝隆分别激活野生型和白血病小鼠BAT,观察和分析其对正常造血细胞以及白血病细胞的影响。通过流式分析了不同时间点米拉贝隆治疗组和对照组小鼠骨髓、脾脏、肝脏和外周血中白血病细胞的比例,以及骨髓中造血干/祖及成熟细胞的比例、数目、细胞周期、凋亡和集落形成能力;验证了脂肪组织的激活程度;通过手术移除BAT来检测米拉贝隆激活BAT在白血病中的作用。研究结果显示,米拉贝隆治疗组显著激活了BAT,减少了急性白血病小鼠的骨髓、脾脏、肝脏和外周血中白血病细胞的比例,延长了小鼠生存期。米拉贝隆对正常C57小鼠的成熟免疫细胞和骨髓造血干/祖细胞的比例和数量没有明显影响,但在白血病小鼠中治疗组骨髓中各类成熟免疫细胞的比例和绝对数均显著高于对照组,造血干/祖细胞的比例和绝对数均显著增加,细胞凋亡减少,集落形成能力增强。手术切除BAT阻断了米拉贝隆介导的抗白血病作用。研究结果表明,通过米拉贝隆预给药可以激活棕色脂肪组织,抑制白血病细胞的增殖,促进白血病小鼠正常造血干/祖细胞的增殖分化和存活,延长小鼠生存期,为今后白血病的临床治疗提供了一种新的策略。
