Pyrolysis experiments were conducted on lacustrine organic-rich shale from Cangdong Sag in Bohai Bay Basin,China,to investigate the impact of hydrocarbon generation on shale pore structure *** evolution is found to control the transformation of organic matter,hydrocarbon products characteristics,and pore structure ***,pore volume and specific surface area increase with increasing *** low-mature stage,the retained oil content begins to increase,pore volumes show slight changes,and primary pores are occluded by the generated crude oil of high molecular weight and *** the oil-window stage,the retained oil content rapidly increases and reaches maximum,and pore volumes gradually increase with increasing thermal *** high mature stage,the retained oil content begins to decrease,and the pore volume increases considerably owing to the expulsion of liquid *** over mature stage,natural gas content significantly increases and kerogen transforms to *** organic pores are formed and the pore size gradually increases,resulting from the connection of organic pores caused the increasing thermal *** study lays a foundation for understanding variation of hydrocarbon products during the thermal evolution of lacustrine shales and its relationship with the evolution of shale reservoirs.

We investigate theoretically the enhancement of mechanical squeezing in a multimode optomechanical system by introducing a coherent phonon–photon interaction via the backward stimulated Brillouin scattering(BSBS)*** coherent photon–phonon interaction where two optical modes couple to a Brillouin acoustic mode with a large decay rate provides an extra channel for the cooling of a Duffing mechanical *** squeezing degree and the robustness to the thermal noises of the Duffing mechanical mode can be enhanced *** the Duffing nonlinearity is weak,the squeezing degree of the mechanical mode in the presence of BSBS can be improved by more than one order of magnitude compared with that in the absence of *** scheme may be extended to other quantum systems to study novel quantum effects.

Due to their high theoretical capacity and abundant resources, transition metal sulfides are regarded as a prospering alternative to replace the commercial graphite anode in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), particularly for large-scale energy storage and conversion applications. Nonetheless, low conductivity, easy agglomeration and obvious volume change greatly impede their practical application. In this work, a novel crystalline/non-crystalline carbon co-modified strategy is proposed to fabricate N, S co-doped carbon (NSC) layer wrapped Fe0.95S1.05/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) composite (Fe0.95S1.05/CNTs@NSC) through a simple Fenton reaction followed by a sulfurization process. Systematical characterizations and analyses reveal that this strategy well combines the advantages of crystalline CNTs and non-crystalline NSC, ensuring good conductivity and a high contribution to capacity from the carbon matrix. Meanwhile, the joint encapsulation of Fe0.95S1.05 by both CNTs and NSC can significantly mitigate the agglomeration and volume change of Fe0.95S1.05 during the continuous charge/discharge process. Benefiting from these advantageous features, the resultant Fe0.95S1.05/CNTs@NSC composite displays much improved cycling stability and rate capability when compared to the counterparts. Clearly, our research offers a distinct and innovative approach to design and construct advanced transition metal sulfides/carbon composite anodes for LIBs.

Comprehensive Summary Four polycyclic ten-membered lactones possessing unprecedented 10/6/5 tricyclic ring skeleton, named eutypetides A-D (1-4), and an intriguing polyketide containing a hexahydroisobenzofuran-1(3H)-one motif, named eutypetide E (5) were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Eutypella sp. F0219, together with three new related biosynthetic polyketides eutypetides F-H (6-8). The absolute configurations of 1-5 were unequivocally determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses (Cu K alpha), modified Mosher's method and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Eutypetides G (7) showed remarkable anti-inflammatory activity and could reduce the mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokines IL-1 beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha, and iNOS induced by LPS. Most notably, compounds 1-4 were formed biogenetically from 6-7 via the key intramolecular [4+2] cycloaddition, while compound 5 could be constructed biogenetically from 8 through the intramolecular [4+2] cycloaddition. All the above eight polyketides are proposed to originate from a C-10 and a C-6 fatty acid.

Drug delivery systems(DDS)have recently emerged as a promising approach for the unique advantages of drug protection and targeted ***,the access of nanoparticles/drugs to the central nervous system(CNS)remains a challenge mainly due to the obstruction from brain *** cells infiltrating the CNS in the pathological state have inspired the development of strategies for CNS foundation drug ***,we outline the three major brain barriers in the CNS and the mechanisms by which immune cells migrate across the blood–brain *** subsequently review biomimetic strategies utilizing immune cell-based nanoparticles for the delivery of nanoparticles/drugs to the CNS,as well as recent progress in rationally engineering immune cell-based DDS for CNS ***,we discuss the challenges and opportunities of immune cell-based DDS in CNS diseases to promote their clinical development.
