Background: COVID-19 limitations have hindered the implementation of new technologies by preventing proctors from coming to the *** share our first experience of magnetic resonance imaging(mRI)-guided focused ultrasound(mRgFUS)treatment with an international remote online proctorship,and develop and evaluate the methodology of remote mRgFUS ***: This single-center,nonrandomized controlled prospective study included 94 patients:27 with essential tremor(ET)and 67 with tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease(PD).The coming of proctors was impossible,so we arranged for the remote participation of proctors from the United Kingdom,Spain,and Israel.A total of 38 patients(40.4%)received telemedicine-proctored treatment(proctor group)and 56 received their treatment independently(solo group).We used the Clinical Rating Scale for Tremor(CRST)for ET patients and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)Part III for PD ***: In patients with ET,success rates were 81.8%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.22).CRST reduction on the treated side was 71.43%[65.83%;80.56%](proctor group)versus 60.87%[53.99;79.58](solo group)(p=0.19).None of the patients showed worsening of tremors within 1 *** patients with PD,the success rates were 92.6%(proctor group)and 100%(solo group)(p=0.08).The UPDRS Part III improvement was 30.1%(proctor group)versus 39.9%(solo group)(p=0.003).The 1-year recurrence rate was 40%(proctor group)and 17.5%(solo group)(p=0.04).No complications were observed at 6 ***: We developed a feasible and safe methodology for telemedicine remote online-proctored mRgFUS *** significant difference was observed between the solo and developed remote proctor protocols in terms of complication rate,effect,and long-term results;however,UPDRS Part III improvement was better in the PD solo *** study demonstrated that the mRgFUS international proctorship can be performed successfully remotely.

Diversity and Florogenesis of Subnival Flora of the Caucasus

This paper presents the results of systematic, ecopathological, and chorological studies of the diversity of the subnival belt （zone） flora of the Caucasus mountains, peculiarity of altitudinal distribution, endemism and florogenesis. Comparative analysis of the diversity of the subnival flora on different types of stone and at different altitudes in various parts of the Caucasus has been made. It is based on field investigation and on literature research. 226 species, 96 genera and 35 families were recorded in the subnival belt of the Caucasus within a range of 2,800 （2,900）-4,000 m a.s.l. Among these 117 species or 51% are common endemics of the Greater Caucasus and Caucasus. It is proved that floristic elements of different origin （authochronic and aloctonic） and age （miocene-Pliocene and Pleistocene） contributed to the florogenesis of the subnival belt of the Caucasus. The Caucasian, the Eu-Caucasian, the Eastern Asian, the minor Asian, the Dagestan-lranian, the Caucasia-European groups plaied an important role in the florogenesis. Criophilic evolution on the of the some plants was related to oreophytizacion during formation of the Caucasus mountains （in the second half of the Tertiary）, as well as the glaciations scale. Species composition and coenotic role are different in various parts of the Caucasus and within each part. This is conditioned by the different hypsometry of various parts of the Caucasus, the character of glatiations, edaphic and climatic conditions, lythological diversity. Compared with the Greater Caucasus, the relative floristic poverty of the Lesser Caucasus is due to low elevations and extensive rather recent vulcanism.

Decumbenones A–C from marine fungus <i>Aspergillus sulphureus</i>as stimulators of the initial stages of development of agricultural plants

The effect of decumbenones A (1), B (2) and C (3) from the marine-derived strain of the fungus Aspergillus sulphureus on the growth of seedling roots of buckwheat, wheat, barley and corn at the concentration range 10﹣5 - 10﹣18 m was studied. It was shown that decumbenone B had a stimulatory effect on the growth of seedling roots of buckwheat, decumbenone A—on the growth of seedling roots of spring soft wheat, decumbenone C—on the growth of seedling roots of spring barley, decumbenone A, B and C —on the growth of seedling roots of corn. The stimulatory effect for some substances was shown at ultra-low concentrations 10﹣12 - 10﹣18 m. It is possible to recommend decumbenones A, B and C for studying in field conditions as growth factors of buckwheat, wheat, barley and corn.
