2D Carbon Fiber Reinforced High Density Polyethylene Multi-Layered Laminated Composite Panels:Structural,Mechanical,Thermal,and Morphological Profile

Carbon fiber reinforced high density polyethylene multi-layered laminated composite panels（HDPE/CF MLCP） with excellent in-plane properties along transverse direction have been formulated. Composite architectures with carbon fiber（CF） designed in 2D layout in conventional composites can alleviate their properties in thickness direction, but all attempts so far developed have achieved restrained success. Here,we have exposed an approach to the high strength composite challenge, without altering the 2D stack design on the basis of concept of fiber reinforced laminated composites that would provide enhanced mechanical and thermal properties along transverse direction. CF sheets allowed the buckling of adjoining plies in 2D MLCP. We fabricated 2D MLCP by stacking the alternative CF and HDPE layers under different loading conditions, which resulted in high strength composites. These plies of CF and HDPE served as unit cells for MLCP, with CF offering much-needed fracture toughness and hardness to these *** 2D HDPE/CF MLCP, we demonstrated noteworthy improvement in physical and chemical interaction between CF and HDPE, in-plane fracture strain, flexural strength（30.684 MPa）, bending modulus（7436.254 MPa）, thermal stability（40.94%）, and surface morphology, upon increasing the CF layers up to twenty, enabling these composites truly for high temperature and high strength applications.

Investigation of functional,physical,mechanical and thermal properties of TiO2 embedded polyester hybrid composites:A design of experiment(DoE)study

This paper presents a study on the Design of Experiments(Do E) approach to optimize the fabrication parameters of titania(TiO2) embedded glass fiber reinforced polyester hybrid composites(HCs). HCs of unsaturated polyester resin(UPR) were fabricated using methyl ethyl ketone peroxide(MEKP) as the curing agent by hand lay-up process(HLUP) and compression molding technique(CMT). The fabrication parameters were optimized by Taguchi Do E(an orthogonal array of L25) using 3 control factors(concentration of TiO2, concentration of MEKP and curing temperature) having 5 levels each. Statistical tools were employed to identify significant factors affecting tensile strengths and its reproducibility during HLUP. It was found that the concentration of TiO2in HCs significantly influenced the tensile strength(TS) followed by MEKP concentration and curing temperature. The highest value of TS was obtained at 3 wt% TiO2, 2 wt% MEKP and 80 °C. Nevertheless, the sensitivity of TiO2concentration was basis for fabrication of polyester titania glass fiber hybrids(PTGFHs), which were further investigated for density and void fractions, linear shrinkage, flexural strength, impact strength, hardness and thermal behaviors. Moreover, cross-linking and hydrogen-bonding between polymeric chains, styrene, silica content of glass fiber and TiO2particles in PTGFHs were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.

Due to an increasing number of wireless spectrums,the network components are tangling with multiple frequencies and the result create hindrance in resource management *** resource management process,data leakage is one of the sensitive enigma that requires an astute *** all these issues,a sustainable wireless resource management proposal(DSWR-SNN)has been developed by incorporating a shrewd Neural *** resources are managed by testing performance of each network component connected wirelessly through dataset testing which matches the results from the dataset *** performance of the proposed DSWR-SNN method has been compared with state of the art studies Hopfield Neural Network(HNN),Radio Resource Management(RRM),and Deep Q-Network(DQN),and results are evaluated by conducting simulation using Python with TensorFlow based on Bandwidth Utilization,Duplicate Packet Handling,Data Leakage,and Energy *** result illustrates the marvelous performance of the proposed method and effective in addressing the challenges of resource allocation in wireless communication systems.

On the Exact Solution for Axisymmetric Flow and Heat Transfer over a Nonlinear Radially Stretching Sheet

We investigate the boundary-layer flow and heat transfer of a magnetohydrodynamic viscous fluid over a nonlinear radially porous stretching sheet within a porous *** flow is generated due to a nonlinear stretching sheet and influenced by a continuous suction/blowing of the fluid through the porous *** governing momentum and thermal boundary layer equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by appropriate similarity *** exact solution for the velocity and the temperature fields are derived in the form of an incomplete Gamma *** analytic solutions are found by the homotopy analysis *** graphical results for velocity and temperature fields are presented and ***,the numerical values of the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are calculated and discussed.

Reduced bit low power VLSI architectures for motion estimation

Low power and real time very large scale integration （VLSI） architectures of motion estimation （ME） algorithms for mobile devices and applications are presented. The power reduction is achieved by devising a novel correction recovery mechanism based on algorithms which allow the use of reduced bit sum of absolute difference （RBSAD） metric for calculating matching error and conversion to full resolution sum of absolute difference （SAD） metric whenever necessary. Parallel and pipelined architectures for high throughput of full search ME corresponding to both the full resolution SAD and the generalized RBSAD algorithm are synthe- sized using Xilinx Synthesis Tools （XST）, where the ME designs based on reduced bit （RB） algorithms demonstrate the reduction in power consumption up to 45% and/or the reduction in area up to 38%.

Intelligent cluster routing scheme for flying ad hoc networks

Flying ad hoc networks are used for many critical tasks. The network formation for routing data becomes difficult because of the mobility of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs). To solve the communication issue, we propose an intelligent cluster routing scheme for flying ad hoc networks(CRSF). Cluster head(CH)selection in our proposed methodology is based on fitness, which is determined by the position and UAVs’ residual energy. For the efficient management of UAV swarm, a cluster management mechanism is also proposed, inspired by moth flame optimization. In CRSF, for stable cluster maintenance, a CH re-selection mechanism is proposed in detail, which helps maintain the cluster for effective topology management. A routing mechanism for UAV communication is proposed for CRSF. The route selection for transmission of information is performed using the route identification function based on the Euclidean distance and residual energy. The performance of the proposed CRSF is evaluated and compared with the existing routing algorithms.

Value-Based Test Case Prioritization for Regression Testing Using Genetic Algorithms

Test Case Prioritization(TCP)techniques perform better than other regression test optimization techniques including Test Suite Reduction(TSR)and Test Case Selection(TCS).Many TCP techniques are available,and their performance is usually measured through a metric Average Percentage of Fault Detection(APFD).This metric is value-neutral because it only works well when all test cases have the same cost,and all faults have the same *** APFD for performance evaluation of test case orders where test cases cost or faults severity varies is prone to produce false ***,using the right metric for performance evaluation of TCP techniques is very important to get reliable and correct *** this paper,two value-based TCP techniques have been introduced using Genetic Algorithm(GA)including Value-Cognizant Fault Detection-Based TCP(VCFDB-TCP)and Value-Cognizant Requirements Coverage-Based TCP(VCRCB-TCP).Two novel value-based performance evaluation metrics are also introduced for value-based TCP including Average Percentage of Fault Detection per value(APFDv)and Average Percentage of Requirements Coverage per value(APRCv).Two case studies are performed to validate proposed techniques and performance evaluation *** proposed GA-based techniques outperformed the existing state-of-the-art TCP techniques including Original Order(OO),Reverse Order(REV-O),Random Order(RO),and Greedy algorithm.

The main objective of this research is to design a state-feedback controller for the rotary inverted pendulum module utilizing the linear quadratic regulator(LQR)*** controller maintains the pendulum in the inverted(upright)position and is robust enough to reject external disturbance to maintain its *** research work involves three major contributions:mathematical modeling,simulation,and real-time *** design a controller,mathematical modeling has been done by employing the NewtonEuler,Lagrange *** resulting model was nonlinear so linearization was required,which has been done around a working *** the estimation of the controller parameters,MATLAB LQR function has been *** has been performed for the designed controller and it also has been implemented and tested over the real inverted *** the results,it is vivid that the designed controller keeps the inverted pendulum in an upright position and rejects the disturbances and falling under gravitational force by adjusting the rotation of the horizontal link.

The development of human-robot interaction has been continu-ously increasing for the last *** this development,it has become simpler and safe interactions using a remotely controlled telepresence robot in an insecure and hazardous *** audio-video communication connection or data transmission stability has already been well handled by fast-growing technologies such as 5G and ***,the design of the phys-ical parameters,e.g.,maneuverability,controllability,and stability,still needs ***,the paper aims to present a systematic,controlled design and implementation of a telepresence mobile *** primary focus of this paper is to perform the computational analysis and experimental implementa-tion design with sophisticated position control,which autonomously controls the robot’s position and speed when reaching an obstacle.A system model and a position controller design are developed with root locus *** design robot results are verified experimentally,showing the robot’s agreement and control in the desired *** robot was tested by considering various parameters:driving straight ahead,right turn,self-localization and complex *** results prove that the proposed approach is flexible and adaptable and gives a better *** experimental results show that the proposed method significantly minimizes the obstacle hits.

Presentation delay in breast cancer patients and its association with sociodemographic factors in North Pakistan

Background： There is strong evidence that delayed diagnosis of breast cancer is associated with poor survival. The objectives were to determine the frequency of breast cancer patients with delayed presentation, the reasons of delay and its association with different socio-demographic variables in our ***： We interviewed 315 histologically confirmed breast cancer patients. Delay was defined as more than 3 months from appearance of symptoms to the consultation from doctor. Questions were asked from each patient which could reflect their understanding about the disease and which could be the likely reasons for their delayed ***： A total of 39.01%（n=123） of patients presented late and out of those, 40.7% wasted time using alternative medicines; 25.2% were not having enough resources; 17.1% presented late due to painless lump; 10.6% felt shyness and 6.5% presented late due to other reasons. Higher age, negative family history, 〈8 school years of education and low to middle socio-economic status were significantly associated with delayed presentation（P〈0.05）. Education and socioeconomic status were two independent variables related to the delayed presentation after adjustment for others [odds ratios（OR） of 2.26, 2.29 and 95% confidence intervals（CI） was 1.25-4.10, 1.06-4.94 respectively].Conclusions： Significant percentage of women with breast cancer in North Pakistan is experiencing presentation delay due to their misconceptions about the disease. Coordinated efforts with public health department are needed to educate the focused groups and mitigating the barriers identified in the study. Long term impact will be reduced overall burden of the disease in the region.
