The com.lex of m.lybdenum.(VI) with stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid-4,4’’bis (azo-1’’)-3’’, 4’’ dioxybenzene (stillbazo) in the presence of a cationic surfactant cetylpyridinium.chloride (CPCl) was studied spectrophotom.trically. It was found that in the presence of CPCl, a m.xed-ligand com.lex with a com.onent ratio of 1:2:4 is form.d. The effect of pH, tim., tem.erature, the concentration of reagents, and CPCl in the form.tion of hom.geneous ligand and m.xed-ligand com.lexes were studied. The stability constants (lgm.βm.m.km. = 86 × 108) and the m.lar absorption coefficient of the m.xed-ligand com.lex (m.εm.m.кm. = 11,835) were determ.ned. It was found that Beer’s law is observed at a concentration of 0.05 - 17.00 μg/m.. A m.thod has been developed for the spectrophotom.tric determ.nation of m.lybdenum.(VI) in com.lex industrial facilities.

The coordination com.ound of gallium.(III) with stillbazo-stillbene-4,4'-bis [(1-azo)3,4-dihydroxybenzene]-2,2'-disulfonic acid has been investigated by spectrophotom.tric m.thod in the presence of cetyl pyridinium.chloride (CPC) as surface active com.ound. It has been determ.ned that the m.xed ligand com.lexes were form.d with the ratio of 1:2:4 in CPC-m.diated phase. The m.lar coefficient and the stability constant of the com.lex com.ound βк = 6.8 × 109, εк = 66,834 have been studied by various spectrophotom.tric m.thods. The effect of pH, tim., tem.erature, concentration of the reagents and CPC on form.tion of the unm.xed and m.xed ligand coordination com.ounds has been also studied. It has been determ.ned that the Beer’s law is respected within 0.008 - 10 μg of Ga(III) in 25 m. solution. The technique of the photom.tric determ.nation of gallium.in natural com.ositive objects and industrial objects has been developed.

Adapted European seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a prim.ry weight and length of 23 m. and 9.92 m.,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning m.cro-diet(54%crude protein from.fish m.al,powder m.lk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artem.a enriched with fortification em.lsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n C(FOVC),or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n E(FOVE),or Fish oil+10%Vit.C+10%Vit.E(FOCE),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artem.a with DHAS and FOVE exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVC displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessm.nt exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an im.rovem.nt in the structure with DHAS,FOVE,FOVC,and FOCE co-additives com.ared to *** peroxidase enzym.(GPx)recorded the highest rates(Pm.a supplem.nted with DHAS and FOVE followed by FOCE and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augm.nted Artem.a nauplii with fish oil+vitam.n E in single or in com.anion with vitam.n C as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

· AIm. To describe and analyze the dem.graphic characteristics and to determ.ne the angiographic features of acute central serous chorioretinopathy(CSCR) in an Egyptian population. ·m.THODS: A series of consecutive patients presenting with acute idiopathic CSCR to m.nsoura Ophthalm.logy Center m.nsoura University who underwent fluorescein angiography (FA) within a 3 -year -period (between January 1, 2007 and Decem.er 31, 2009) was retrospectively studied. Patient dem.graphics and angiographic features were studied. Results were com.ared to those of other Western and Asian populations. ·RESULTS: Fluorescein angiogram. of 86 patients were analyzed. 91% were m.les. The age range of patients was 24 -49 years, with a m.an age of (38±6) years. The right eye was the presenting eye in 47% of patients. Eighty seven percent of eyes showed delayed choroidal filling. Thirty -five percent of patients had m.re than one point of leakage. The m.cula was the m.st com.on site of fluorescein leakage seen in 79% of patients. Peripheral leakage was seen in 14% of patients while peripapillary leakage was seen in 12% of patients. The inkblot leakage pattern was found in 53% of patients. The presenting eye had RPE atrophic changes in 84% of cases. The other eye was assessed in 44 patients (51%). Fifty-five percent of them.had signs of RPE atrophic changes. ·CONCLUSION: In the Egyptian population, CSCR is seen at younger age with higher m.le -to -fem.le ratio and m.re frequent sm.kestack leaks than other populations. Despite younger age group, this series of patient showed higher frequency of bilateral and m.ltifocal disease com.ared to other studies. Roles of psychological stress and choroidal ischem.a in pathogenesis of CSCR need further evaluation. ·

Fenofibrate is m.inly used to reduce cholesterol level in patients at risk of cardiovascular disease. Therm.l transition study with the help of differential scanning calorim.try （DSC） shows that the aforesaid active pharm.ceutical ingredient （API） is a good glass form.r. Based on our DSC study, the m.lecular dynam.cs of this API has been carried out by broadband dielectric spectroscopy （BDS） covering wide tem.erature and frequency ranges. Dielectric m.asurem.nts of am.rphous fenofibrate were per- form.d after its vitrification by fast cooling from.a few degrees above the m.lting point （Tm.354.11 K） to deep glassy state. The sam.le does not show any crystallization tendency during cooling and reaches the glassy state. The tem.erature dependence of the structural relaxation has been fitted by single Vogel- Fulcher-Tam.an （VFT） equation. From.VFT fit, glass transition tem.erature （Tg） was estim.ted as 250.56 K and fragility （m. was determ.ned as 94.02. This drug is classified as a fragile glass form.r. Deviations of experim.ntal data from.Kohlrausch-William.-Watts （KWW） fits on high-frequency flank of α-peak indicate the presence of an excess wing in fenofibrate. Based on Ngai＇s coupling m.del, we identified the excess wing as true Johari-Goldstein （JG） process. Below the glass transition tem.erature one can clearly see a secondary relaxation （γ） with an activation energy of 32.67 kJ/m.l.

The present article aim. to investigate the Graetz-Nusselt problem.for blood as a non-Newtonian fluid obeying the power-law constitutive equation and flowing inside the axisym.etric tube subjected to nonuniform.surface heat *** the flow field is determ.ned by solving the continuity and the m.m.ntum.equations,the energy equation is handled by em.loying the separation of variables *** resulting Eigen functions and Eigen values are num.rically calculated using m.TLAB built-in solver *** analysis is first conducted for the situation of constant heat flux and subsequently generalized to apply to the case of sinusoidal variation of wall heat flux along the tube length,using Duham.l’s ***,an approxim.te analytic solution is determ.ned,em.loying an integral approach to solve the boundary layer *** respect to the com.arison,the results of approxim.te solution display acceptable congruence with those of exact solution with an average error of 7.4%.Interestingly,with decreasing the power-law index,the discrepancy between the two presented m.thods significantly ***,the influences of the controlling param.ters such as surface heat flux and power-law index on the non-Newtonian fluid flow’s therm.l characteristics and structure are elaborately *** is found that switching from.constant wall heat flux to non-uniform.wall heat flux that sinusoidally varies along the tube length significantly im.roves the sim.lation’s accuracy due to the better characterization of the heat transport phenom.non in non-Newtonian fluid flow through the *** the presence of sinusoidally varying wall heat flux with an am.litude of 200 W/m.2 and when the power-law index is 0.25,the m.xim.m.arterial wall tem.erature is found to be about 311.56 K.

Date pits for feed preparation or oil extraction are soaked in water to soften before m.lling or extrusion. Knowledge of water absorption by the date pits helps in better m.naging the soaking duration. In this research, the process of water absorption by date pits was m.deled and analyzed using Fick's second law of diffusion, finite elem.nt approach, and Peleg m.del. The m.isture content of the pits reached to its saturation level of 41.5% (wet basis) after 10 d. The estim.ted coefficient of diffusion was 9.89×10-12 m./s. The finite elem.nt m.del with a proposed ellipsoid geom.try for a single date pit and the analytical m.del fitted better to the experim.ntal data with R2 of 0.98. The form.r m.del slightly overestim.ted the m.isture content of the pits during the initial stages of the soaking and the latter m.del generally underestim.ted this variable through the entire stages of soaking process.
