We fabricate Fe3O4 thin film. on Si（100） substrates at different tem.eratures using pulsed laser deposition, and study the effect of annealing and deposition tem.erature on the structural and m.gnetic properties of Fe3O4 thin film.. Subsequently, the film. are characterized by x-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm. and vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.tery （VSm.. The XRD results of these film. confirm.the presence of the Fe3O4 phase and show room.tem.erature ferrom.gnetism. as observed with VSm. We dem.nstrate the optim.zed deposition and annealing conditions for an enhanced m.gnetization of 854 em./cm. that is very high when com.ared to the bulk sam.le.

Dy2O3 is a rare earth oxide having a num.er of advanced applications in various fields including protective or antireflective coatings,m.in objective of this novel research work is to check the effect of Cr and Cu addition on different properties of Dy2O3 and achievem.nt of antireflective thin film. with enhanced abso *** film. of these m.terials we re deposited using DC m.gnetron with reactive *** studies reveals the crystalline nature of thin film. having Dy2O3(222)reflection in all sam.les with Cr2O3(116)and CuO(111)reflections in Cr and Cu containing *** em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy dem.nstrates the hom.geneous deposition of thin film. with uniform.shape,size and distribution of *** index,extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient significantly increase while optical reflectance decreases with Cr and Cu m.diation corroborating an im.roved antireflective *** im.ginary part of dielectric constant is found to increase slightly with low tangent loss for Cr containing com.osition co nsidered favorable for energy storage applications.

Neuroim.ging has em.rged over the last few decades as a crucial tool in diagnosing Alzheim.r’s disease(AD).m.ld cognitive im.airm.nt(m.I)is a condition that falls between the spectrum.of norm.l cognitive function and ***,previous studies have m.inly used handcrafted features to classify m.I,AD,and norm.l control(NC)*** paper focuses on using gray m.tter(Gm.scans obtained through m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)for the diagnosis of individuals with m.I,AD,and *** im.rove classification perform.nce,we developed two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation(i.e.,shear range,rotation,zoom.range,channel shift).The first approach is a deep Siam.se network(DSN),and the second approach involves using a cross-dom.in strategy with custom.zed *** perform.d experim.nts on the Alzheim.r’s Disease Neuroim.ging Initiative(ADNI)dataset to evaluate the perform.nce of our proposed *** experim.ntal results dem.nstrate superior perform.nce in classifying the three binary classification tasks:NC ***,NC ***,and m.I ***,we achieved a classification accuracy of 97.68%,94.25%,and 92.18%for the three cases,*** study proposes two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation to accurately diagnose m.I,AD,and norm.l control individuals using Gm.*** findings provide prom.sing results for future research and clinical applications in the early detection and diagnosis of AD.

Heat storage properties of phase change m.terials(PCm.) are essential characteristics that perform.a key role in therm.l heat energy storage *** therm.l properties of PCm. can be im.roved by developing m.tal foam.PCm.*** addition of m.tal foam.in PCm. has a significant effect on the therm.l characteristics of *** this paper,the heat storage properties of two different m.tal foam.PCm.com.osites were experim.ntally *** behavior of paraffin in m.tal foam.copper and iron-nickel)/paraffin com.osites concerning pure paraffin at a constant heat flux of 1000 W/m.(2) in three directions sim.ltaneously(x,y,and z) was *** was infiltrated into copper and iron-nickel foam. to develop com.osite m.terials which resulted in enhancing the therm.l conductivity of the paraffin.A com.arative analysis is m.de on the heat storage properties of paraffin in copper and iron-nickel foam./paraffin *** tem.erature distribution during the phase transition process is experim.ntally *** com.arison indicates that tem.erature uniform.ty in copper foam.paraffin com.osite is better than in iron-nickel foam.paraffin com.osite and pure paraffin at the sam. heat *** results show that at heat flux of 1000 W/m.(2),the heat storage tim. for copper foam.paraffin com.osite is 20.63% of that of iron-nickel foam.paraffin com.osite.

An increased num.er of hurricanes and tornadoes have been recorded worldwide in the last decade,while research efforts to reduce wind-related dam.ge to structures becom. *** architecture,which focuses on generating com.lex curved shapes including stream.ined shapes,has recently gained *** study focuses on investigating the potential of kerf panels,which have unique flexibility depending on the cut patterns and densities,to generate com.lex shapes for facades and their perform.nce under wind *** investigate the kerf panel's potential capacity against wind loads,static and dynam.c analyses were conducted for two kerf panel types with different cut densities and pre-deform.d *** was observed that although solid panels result in sm.ller displacem.nt am.litudes,stresses,and strains in som. cases,the kerf panels allow for global and local cell deform.tions resulting in stress reduction in various locations with the potential to reduce dam.ge due to overstress in *** the predeform.d kerf panels,it was observed that both the overall stress and strain responses in kerf cut arrangem.nts were lower than those of the flat-shaped *** study shows the prom.se of the use of kerf panels in achieving both design flexibility and perform.nce dem.nds when exposed to service *** that this newly proposed architectural configuration(design paradigm.for facades could revolutionize structural engineering by pushing com.lex freeform.shapes to a standard practice that intertwines aesthetic argum.nts,building perform.nce requirem.nts,and m.terial design considerations has the potential for significant practical applications.

Sewage water in agriculture threatens hum.n health and soil ecosystem. through m.tal *** show prom.se as bioindicators of soil health due to their abundance and position in soil food ***-polluted water decreased abundance of certain nem.tode groups and Sigm. m.turity *** pollution positively affected nem.tode groups with r-selected life *** water has been inappropriately used in agriculture,posing possible threats to hum.n health and the soil ecosystem. by its constituent pollutants,especially heavy *** evaluation of its influences on soil biom.s needs to consider the response of soil *** soil organism.,nem.todes are seen as the best prom.sing candidates for bioindicators of soil *** in,we collected soil sam.les from.fresh water irrigated field from.three sites(S1,S2 and S3)and sewage water irrigated distance gradient(5 m.40 m.,to assess the influence of m.tal(Cu,Zn,Cd,m.,Pb)polluted water on various characteristics of nem.tode *** results indicated that the heavy m.tals decreased the abundance of C-p3 nem.todes,herbivores,and predatory nem.todes as well as sigm. m.turity index,whereas,C-p1,C-p2,bacterivore and fungivore nem.todes abundance and diversity positively responded to the m.tal ***,nem.tode genera with r-selected life cycle were positively affected and those with K-selected life cycle were negatively affected by m.tal *** nem.tode com.unity has potential to be used as indicator of pollution stress in agricultural soils to check soil health and sustainability.

The direct band gap ZnTe with transition m.tal （Tm. im.urities plays a vital role in optoelectronic and spintronic applications. In the present study, we use the advanced m.dified Becke-Johnson （m.J） functional for perform.ng the structural com.utations and detailed investigations of the optical characters in Zn1_xTm.Te （Tm.= Fe, Co） alloys with 0 ≤ x ≤1. By em.loying the FP-LAPW m.thod, we determ.ne various optical param.ters for the ternary alloys and for the end binaries. The calculated static dielectric constants and optical band gaps for Zn1_xTm.Te （Tm.= Fe, Co） have an inverse relation that verifies the Penn m.del. We find that the static dielectric constant is nearly equal to the square of the static refractive index, and both increase with Tm.content. Furtherm.re, we also find a slight shift of peaks to a higher energy region with increasing Tm.concentration. The decreasing band gap and high value of the absorption in the visible region of electrom.gnetic spectrum.m.ke these alloys suitable for photonic and solar cell applications.

Cobalt （Co）-doped ***3 m.ltiferroics were synthesized by a sol-gel m.thod based on the auto- com.ustion technique. As-synthesized powder was exam.ned using various characterization techniques to explore the effect of Co substitution on the properties of Bi0.9La0.1FeO3. X-ray diffraction reveals that Co-doped Bi0.9La0.1FeO3 preserves the perovskite-type rhom.ohedral structure of BiFeO3, and the com.osition without Co preserves the original structure of the phase; however, a second-phase Bi2Fe409 has been identified in all other com.ositions. Surface m.rphological studies were perform.d by scanning electron m.croscopy. Tem.erature-dependent resistivity of the sam.les reveals the characteristic insulating behavior of the m.ltiferroic m.terial. The resistivity is found to decrease with the increase both in tem.erature and Co content. Room.tem.erature frequency-dependent dielectric m.asurem.nts were also reported. m.gnetic m.asurem.nts show the enhancem.nt in m.gnetization with the increase in Co content.
