A well-known adsorbent, poly(am.doxim.)ligand, was prepared from.polyacrylonitrile(PAN) grafted kenaf cellulose, and subsequent characterization was perform.d by Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscope(FESEm. and inductively coupled plasm. m.ss spectrom.try(ICP-m.).The adsorption capacities of the prepared ligand for rare earth m.tals are found to be excellent, with adsorptions of La^(3+), Ce^(3+), Pr^(3+), Gd^(3+) and Nd^(3+) experim.ntally determ.ned to be 262, 255, 244, 241 and 233 m.·g^(-1), respectively, at pH 6. The experim.ntal values of the adsorption of rare earth m.tals are well m.tched with the pseudosecond-order rate equation. The reusability of the adsorbent is exam.ned for seven cycles of sorption/desorption,dem.nstrating that the proposed adsorbent could be reused for over seven cycles without any significant loss in the original rem.val capability of the ligand.

Traum.tic brain injury(TBI)is an acquired injury of the brain caused by the im.act of external forces on the brain(m.as et al.,2008).It is a m.jor cause of death and disability am.ng people of all ages(m.as et al.,2008).The prim.ry m.chanical injury to the brain initiates a cascade of secondary biochem.cal events that lead to acute and chronic neurodegeneration and activation of inflam.atory pathways(m.as et al.,2008).Both brain-resident m.croglia and blood-derived m.eloid cells-m.crophages and m.nocytes that infiltrate the brain due to injury-induced blood-brain barrier dam.ge,contribute to the inflam.atory responses after TBI(m.rganti et al.,2015).

The fluorine-substituted benzoate ester rod-shaped liquid crystals containing an azobenzene side chain linked with term.nal double bonds were synthesized and *** m.sophase and photoswitching properties were determ.ned by polarizing optical m.croscopy（POm.,differential scanning calorim.try（DSC） and UV-visible *** rod-shaped com.ound 4a having an odd num.er of carbon atom. in the alkyl chains exhibits nem.tic phase and Sm. type phase whereas com.ound 4b having an even num.er of carbon atom. showed only nem.tic *** fluorinecontaining com.ounds 4c and 4d showed only Sm. type *** photoswitching properties of these com.ounds showed a rate of trans to cis isom.rization ranging 19-20 s,whereas reverse process took around 230 m.n in *** m.terials m.y be ideal in the field of optically rewritable applications where both on and off rates should be crucial.

BACKGROUND Prediabetes is a well-established risk factor for m.jor adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events(m.CCE).However,the relationship between prediabetes and m.CCE in atrial fibrillation(AF)patients has not been extensively ***,this study aim.d to establish a link between prediabetes and m.CCE in AF *** To investigate a link between prediabetes and m.CCE in AF *** We used the National Inpatient Sam.le(2019)and relevant ICD-10 Cm.codes to identify hospitalizations with AF and categorized them.into groups with and without prediabetes,excluding *** prim.ry outcom. was m.CCE(all-cause inpatient m.rtality,cardiac arrest including ventricular fibrillation,and stroke)in AF-related *** Of the 2965875 AF-related hospitalizations for m.CCE,47505(1.6%)were am.ng patients with *** prediabetes cohort was relatively younger(m.dian 75 vs 78 years),and often consisted of m.les(56.3%vs 51.4%),blacks(9.8%vs 7.9%),Hispanics(7.3%vs 4.3%),and Asians(4.7%vs 1.6%)than the non-prediabetic cohort(Pm.a,sm.king,obesity,drug abuse,prior m.ocardial infarction,peripheral vascular disease,and hyperthyroidism.all Pm.re frequently required hom. health care(23.6%vs 21.0%)and had higher *** adjusting for baseline characteristics or com.rbidities,the prediabetes cohort with AF adm.ssions showed a higher rate and significantly higher odds of m.CCE com.ared to the non-prediabetic cohort[18.6%vs 14.7%,odds ratio(OR)1.34,95%confidence interval 1.26-1.42,Pm.les had a stronger association(aOR 1.43)com.ared to fem.les(aOR 1.22),whereas on the race-wise com.arison,Hispanics(aOR 1.43)and Asians(aOR 1.36)had a stronger association with m.CCE with prediabetes vs whites(aOR 1.33)and blacks(aOR 1.21).CONCLUSION This population-

In this paper, novel m.them.tical expressions are derived for the Global Positioning System.(GPS) receiver interference tolerance in the presence of different types of interference signals such as: continuous wave interference, narrowband interference, partial band interference, broadband interference, m.tch spectrum.interference and pulse interference. Also, in this paper the m.an tim. to loss lock is determ.ned in order to analyse the m.ntioned interferences effect on the GPS receiver. These derived analytical expressions are validated with the aid of extensive sim.lation experim.nts.

Early after prim.ng, effector CD8 T cells are distinguished into m.m.ry precursor and short-lived effector cell subsets （m.ECs and SLECs）. Here, we delineated a distinct in vivo heterogeneity in killer cell lectin-like receptor G1 （KLRG-1） expression, which was strongly associated with diverse m.EC and SLEC fates. These in vivo m.ECs and SLECs expressed equivalent levels of cytotoxic m.lecules and effector cytokines. Using a unique in vivodegranulation assay, we found that the m.ECs and SLECs sim.larly encountered infected target cells and elaborated equivalent levels of cytotoxicity in vivo. These data provide direct in vivoevidence that m.m.ry-fated ceils pass through a robust effector phase. Additionally, the preferential localization of the m.ECs in the lym.h nodes, where a lesser degree of cytotoxicity was elaborated, suggests that the m.ECs m.y be protected from.excessive stim.lation and term.nal differentiation by virtue of their differential tissue localization. These data provide novel m.chanistic insights into the linear decreasing potential m.del of m.m.ry differentiation.

Lanthanide-ion im.rinted polym.rs（L-IIPs） were synthesized by stoichiom.tric am.unts of rare earth ions and the cavities in the polym.rs were created for the corresponding lanthanide ions. The m.xim.m.sorption capacities were estim.ted to be 125.3, 126.5, 127.6, 128.2 and 129.1 m./g for Pr, Nd, Sm. Eu and Gd, respectively at p H 6. In the selectivity study, the L-IIPs exhibited good selectivity to the specific rare earth ions in the presence of coexisting cations. The im.rinting results were found to be excellent with som. rare earth ions over other com.etitor rare earth ions with the sam. charges and close ionic radius.
