Microorganisms are a huge mine of bioactive metabolites,and actinomycetes are one of the very active groups in this *** this article,we are concerned about the full taxonomical characterization of Streptomyces lividans AM,isolated from Egyptian *** isolate produced three new bioactive metabolites,namely:1-Nona-decanoyl,4-oleyl disuccinate(1),filoboletic acid;(9Z,11E)-8,13-dihydroxy octadeca-9,11-dienoic acid(2),and sitosteryl-3β-D-glucoside(3).Extensive 1D and 2D NMR and HR-mass spectrometry were used to elucidate the structures of the three ***,ten known compounds were also *** antimicrobial activity of the producing organism and newly reported compounds(1–3)was investigated against a selected group of pathogenic microorganisms.A full taxonomical characterization of the strain was described as well.

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a method for non-invasive monitoring of cerebral oxygenation and haemodynamics. Different devices provide information on changes of oxygenated (HbO2) and deoxygenated haemoglobin (HHb), oxidized cytochrome aa3 (CytOx) or regional oxygen saturation (rSO2). NIRS has been used during adult and paediatric cardiac surgery.

An efficient in vitro protocol for mass production of shoot of Dahlia was developed by using node explant, various carbon sources such as sucrose, glucose, fructose and galactose. Agar concentrations and various growth regulators on in vitro shoot multiplication of Dahlia were studied in the present investigation. The nodal explant from the gardens grown plant were used as testing plant material to develop an efficient protocol for mass propagation of exotic Dahlia to enhance their production for growers and the local markets. This study determined the effect of different carbon sucrose concentrations and gelling agent on in vitro propagation of Dahlia, different carbon sources （sucrose, glucose, fructose and galactose） were investigated, each sugar was added individually to the MS culture medium at the concentrations of 15, 30 and 45 g·L^-1, respectively. Culture medium of each treatment was supplemented with 1,5 mg·L^-1 BA ＋ 1.5 mg·L^-1Kin ＋ 7,0 g·L^-1 agar. The highest number of shoots （7.00）, number of leaves （11.50）, number of node （6.75） and shoot length （8.24 cm） was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 30 g·L^-1 glucose. The least number of shoots （3.38）, number of leaves （5.00）, number of node （3.13） and the least shoot length （2.96 cm） was obtained on 45 g·L^-1 galactose and the least shoot length （2.29 cm） was observed on MS medium with free carbon sources. While the medium with 30 g·L^-1 glucose and 8 g·L^-1 agar gave the highest number of shoots （7.13）, number of leaves （10.75）, number of node （7.13） and shoot length （8.18 cm）. However, the least number of shoots （1.50）, number of leaves （1.88）, number of node （1.63） and the least shoot length （1.26 cm） was obtained with 30 g·L^-1 galactose and 12 g·L^-1 agar. Rooting was readily achieved upon transferring the microshoots onto MS medium supplemented with 0.1 mg·L^-1 IBA, IAA and NAA and 30 g·L^-1 （w/v） different types of carbon sources. Perceived Stress and Coping Styles among the General Population in Saudi Arabia during COVID-19 Pandemic

This article examines the stress levels,coping responses,and influence of adaptive and maladaptive coping styles on stress in Saudi Arabia during the COVID-19 *** online cross-sectional survey was distributed to the attendees of a pandemic-related awareness *** questionnaire assessed demographic and clinical characteristics,coping strategies(the brief COPE inventory),and stress levels(the Perceived Stress Scale).A multivariate linear regression analysis was conducted to assess the predictors of *** highest adaptive and maladaptive coping styles were reported for religion and *** groups were independently more vulnerable to experience stress,including young-and middle-aged adults,females,students,and those with a lowto-middle income,with a personal or familial history of mental conditions,and living with someone with COVID-19 in their close *** levels of stress were also predicted by lower levels of using positive coping styles,particularly positive reframing,planning,and returning to religion,and higher levels of negative coping styles,such as venting,self-blame,and *** psychotherapeutic interventions through the media and digital solutions are warranted to mitigate and manage stress by targeting vulnerable groups,promoting active coping styles,and discouraging negative coping strategies.

A new era in particle physics is being spurred on by new data from the Large Hadron Collider. Non-vanishing neutrino masses represent firm observational evidence of new physics beyond the Standard Model. An extension of the latter, based on a SU(3)C × SU(2)L × U(1)Y × U(1)B-L symmetry, incorporating an established Baryon minus Lepton number invariance, is proposed as a viable and testable solution to the neutrino mass problem. We argue that LHC data will probe all the new content of this model: heavy neutrinos, an extra gauge boson emerging from spontaneous breaking of the additional gauge group at the TeV scale, onset by a new heavier Higgs boson, also visible at the CERN proton-proton collider. An even more exciting version of this model is the one exploiting Supersymmetry: firstly, it incurporates all its well-known benefits;secondly, it alleviates the flaws of its more minimal realisations. Finally, this model provides a credible cold Dark Matter candidate, the lightest sneutrino, detectable in both underground and collider experiments.

Soil salinity affects the growth and yield of *** stress of soil salinity on plants can be mitigated by inoculation of plant growth promoting bacteria(PGPR).The influence of PGPR inoculation on wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)crop productivity under salinity stress has not been properly addressed so ***,the present study was conducted to investigate the effects of various PGPR strains(W14,W10 and 6K;alone and combined)at several growth attributes of wheat plant under different soil salinity gradients(3,6 and 9 dS m-1).The growth attributes of wheat(height,roots,shoots,spikes,grains quality,biological and economical yield,nutrients nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in grains)were highly affected by salinity and decreased with increasing salinity *** PGPR inoculation substantially promoted growth attributes of wheat and prominent results were observed in W14×W10×6K treatment at all salinity *** results suggest that inoculation of PGPR is a potential strategy to mitigate salinity stress for improving wheat growth and yield.

于2014年3月—2015年12月,采用静态箱-气相色谱法测定了鄂南棕红壤丘陵区茶园和樟树林地土壤CH_4通量,研究了不同植茶年限茶园及临近林地土壤CH_4通量特征.结果表明,不同植茶年限对茶园土壤CH_4通量有显著影响,中、低龄茶园土壤CH_4以排放为主,植茶20 a和植茶8 a茶园土壤CH_4累积排放量分别为0.26和0.27 kg·hm^(-2),高龄茶园和对照林地土壤CH_4以吸收为主,植茶50 a茶园和林地土壤CH_4累积吸收量分别为0.39和1.95 kg·hm^(-2).降雨促进了鄂南棕红壤丘陵区茶园和林地土壤CH_4排放,除了植茶8 a茶园外,高、中龄茶园和樟树林地土壤CH_4通量均与7 d累积降雨量呈显著的正相关关系.施肥造成了茶园土壤CH_4排放量增加,同时土壤中矿质氮类型对该地区茶园和林地土壤CH_4通量有不同影响,CH_4排放通量与土壤硝态氮含量呈显著正相关关系,而与铵态氮含量相关关系不显著.研究表明,降雨量是影响鄂南红壤丘陵区茶园和林地土壤甲烷通量的主要因素;随着茶园种植年限的延长,土壤CH_4排放通量呈降低的趋势,高龄茶园土壤为大气CH_4汇.
