Weak and strong coupling interactions and trapped effects have always played a significant role in understanding physical and chemical properties of materials. Triple-well anharmonic potential may be modeled for interpretation of energy spectra from the nuclear to macro molecular systems, and also crystalline systems. Exact periods of a trapped particle in each well of the potential are explicitly derived. For the extended Duffing system, it is predicted that infinite series of both frequency and spatial trajectory approach to exact results in the limit of weak-coupling cases (g→0).

The dura mater is of similar embryological origin to the fascial organ. It contains several fibroblasts which make the dura mater a flexible structure. Dura mater is the outermost of the three layers of meninges, a thick and rigid inelastic membrane that covers the brain and spinal cord and that is impermeable to the cerebrospinal fluid. The cranial dura mater in certain respects differs anatomically from the dura material in the spinal cord, and it is important to classify them separately. This article reviews the anatomical structure of spinal and cranial dura mater and its anatomy with muscle, fascia, bone structure and ligaments. Dura mater is a structure in the body that is connected with systemic functions.

Turkey ranks the third in the production of chestnuts in the world having an important place both in domestic and global markets. However, the chestnut production and the number of trees have been diminishing in recent years. Therefore, in vitro propagation of the chestnut, in addition to the classical propagation techniques, should be applied. Especially the propogation of the early maturing cultivars and production of the quality chestnuts will provide a better income to the producer. Here, somatic embryo production and regeneration from the immature cotyledons of the early maturing cultivars of the European chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill), Haciibis and Karamehmet, were studied using the somatic embryogenesis, one of the in vitro propagation techniques. To induce the somatic embryogenesis, 168 different combinations were applied to both cultivars. The somatic embryogenesis rate in Haciibis cultivar, in which the interactions were observed among the applications, was found to be 9.9% while it was 11.1% for the Karamehmet cultivar. Dessication, cold treatment, gibberellic acid (GA3) and benzyladenine (BA) + naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) applications were performed on the regeneration of the somatic embryos, and 40% conversion to plant was obtained with desiccation together with BA + NAA supplementation to the medium.

BACKGROUND Defect treatment with tendon autograft in osteochondral lesions has been published in the literature with an experimental study in *** demonstrate that it is possible to treat knee osteochondral lesions with the technique of autologous tendon *** To evaluate the clinical and radiological results of patients with knee osteochondral lesions who were treated with autologous tendon *** Twenty patients(22 knees)with osteochondritis dissecans(OCD)lesions involving the knee were treated with autologous tendon transplantation between *** lesions were International Cartilage Repair Society grade *** patients were evaluated clinically at final follow-up with knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score(KOOS);and radiologically with magnetic resonance observation and cartilage repair tissue(MOCART)and Kellgren-Lawrence(KL)*** A total of 20 patients(22 knees)with a mean age of 25.5±6.8 years were *** average defect size was 4.2±2.1 cm^(2),and the average defect depth was 0.9±0.4 *** KOOS score was preoperatively 29.4±5.5 and was later found to be 81.5±5.9 after an average of 68.7±37.7 mo *** mean MOCART score was 56.2±***,all of the patients had KL grades of 0-1;during the follow-up period,80% of the patients showed no radiological progress of *** with less than 4 cm^(2) lesion had statistically significantly better overall KOOS than patients whose more than 4 cm^(2) lesion,particularly in sport and quality of life *** The autologous tendon transplantation is a single-step,safe,simple,cost-effective method for the treatment of knee OCD with satisfactory clinical and radiological outcomes,particularly in patients with less than 4 cm^(2) lesion.

背景:不孕不育是一种重大的生活危机,它可以导致精神病症状的发展并且对夫妻的生活质量产生负面影响,但其影响程度可能取决于文化背景。目标:我们比较了土耳其城市中生育妇女和不孕妇女的精神病症状程度、功能障碍水平和生活质量。方法:该横断面研究纳入了100名在里泽教育和研究医院的妇产科门诊治疗不孕不育的已婚女性和100名已婚已育的妇女作为对照组。对所有参与者均采用社会人口信息筛查表、医院焦虑抑郁量表(Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale,HADS)、简单功能障碍问卷(Brief Disability Questionnaire,BDQ)和健康状况问卷(Short Form Health Survey,SF-36)进行评估。结果:不育女性的平均焦虑分量表得分和抑郁分量表得分稍高于对照组,但差异无统计学意义。不孕组妇女中有显著临床焦虑症状的比例(即焦虑分量表得分>11)显著高于育龄妇女(31%v.17%,X^2=5.37,p=0.020),但有显著临床抑郁症状的比例(即抑郁分量表评分HADS>8)在两组间没有显著性差异(43%v.33%,X^2=2.12,p=0.145)。不育女性自我报告前一个月的功能障碍显著比对照组严重,并且不育女性在SF-36的8个分量表中4个(一般健康、活力、社会功能和心理健康)显著差于对照组。与目前工作的不育女性相比,目前没有工作的女性不育患者报告的抑郁和焦虑程度较轻,且一般健康状况、活力和心理健康状况较好。结论:未发现土耳其城市地区中寻求治疗的不孕不育已婚女性并比已婚已育妇女有更严重的抑郁症状,但他们确实报告有较大的躯体和心理障碍并且生活质量较差。不孕不育的负面影响对在职不孕女性妇女比无业的不孕妇女更严重。西方国家这通常报告不孕患者抑郁和焦虑的患病率更高,我们需要更大规模的随访研究以评估这些结果与西方国家报告的结果不同的原因。

Objective:To determine the levels of some heavy metals in the liver and edible tissues of four fish species[Mugil cephalus L.,1758(***),Cyprinus carpio L.,1758(***),Perca fluviatilis L.,1758(***)and Stizostedion lucioperca L.,1758(***)]collected from Lake Balik,Kizilirmak Delta(Samsun)for analysis of Cu,Co,Pb,Zn,Cd,Mn,Ni and *** metals were chosen because at higher concentrations there might be toxic to the fish and by extension humans that depends on such fish as ***:The concentrations of the metals were carried out by the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer(UNICAM 929).Results:Large differences in heavy metal levels were observed between liver and muscle tissues within each *** results showed that the Fe concentrations were the highest and Cd concentrations were the lowest in livers and edible tissues of the four *** muscles of *** accumulated significant higher levels of Co,Zn and Ni than other *** was higher in the muscles of *** than those in other species,while *** showed more of Mn and Fe *** muscles of *** accumulated significant higher levels of Pb and Cd than other ***,the liver of *** accumulated significant higher levels of Co,Mn and Fe than other *** level of Cd was the highest in the liver of ***,while *** showed more of Cu and Pb,and the higher levels of Zn and Ni was measured in the liver of ***:The metal levels obtained were compared with the maximum permitted levels in food of the Turkish Food Codex and Commission Regulation(EC).The results of this study showed that estimated daily and weekly intakes of selected metals via consumption of fish were below the permissible tolerable daily intake and provisional tolerable weekly intake values established by Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization.

A 78-year-old woman was referred to our university hospital due to dry cough, fever, and weight loss. Laboratory revealed blood eosinophilia, high ESR, CRP and LDH. Rheumatologic markers were negative. Chest X-ray showed ground glass opacities in upper lobes. Uveitis developed in the left eye 1 week after admission. Thorax CT revealed ground glass opacities, reticular appearence in the upper lobes, enlarged axillary and mediastinal lymph nodes. Bronchoalveolar lavage CD4/CD8 was 2.1 and had 48% eosinophils. Histopathologic examination revealed eosinophilic infiltration and non-caseating epitheloid granulomas in the lung and mediastinal lymph nodes without vasculitis. Symptoms, blood eosinophilia and initial thorax CT findings improved after two months of methylprednisolone treatment. Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia is a rare disease characterized by systemic and pulmonary manifestations. It may be associated with other diseases.
