Comparison of Spatial Interpolation Methods for Gridded Bias Removal in Surface Temperature Forecasts

All numerical weather prediction（NWP） models inherently have substantial biases, especially in the forecast of near-surface weather variables. Statistical methods can be used to remove the systematic error based on historical bias data at observation stations. However, many end users of weather forecasts need bias corrected forecasts at locations that scarcely have any historical bias data. To circumvent this limitation, the bias of surface temperature forecasts on a regular grid covering Iran is removed, by using the information available at observation stations in the vicinity of any given grid point. To this end, the running mean error method is first used to correct the forecasts at observation stations, then four interpolation methods including inverse distance squared weighting with constant lapse rate（IDSW-CLR）, Kriging with constant lapse rate（Kriging-CLR）, gradient inverse distance squared with linear lapse rate（GIDS-LR）, and gradient inverse distance squared with lapse rate determined by classification and regression tree（GIDS-CART）, are employed to interpolate the bias corrected forecasts at neighboring observation stations to any given location. The results show that all four interpolation methods used do reduce the model error significantly,but Kriging-CLR has better performance than the other methods. For Kriging-CLR, root mean square error（RMSE）and mean absolute error（MAE） were decreased by 26% and 29%, respectively, as compared to the raw forecasts. It is found also, that after applying any of the proposed methods, unlike the raw forecasts, the bias corrected forecasts do not show spatial or temporal dependency.

Report of an unusual renal mass:Primary renal lymphoma——Difficult procedure for laparoscopic surgery

Lymphomas form a heterogenous group of clonal(neoplastic) *** renal lymphoma(PRL) is rare. Diagnosis of primary renal lymphoma is important for the patients to receive appropriate *** nephrectomy should be the standard procedure in most cases of both malignant and benign,renal tumors with the possible exception of tumor>*** this case report of laparoscopic surgery of primary renal lymphoma is the first report of this kind and may be useful for the other laparoscopic surgeons.A 53 years-old man with unilateral primary renal lymphoma who had a history of renal colic and ESWL(Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) of the left kidney stone 3 years ago,he underwent laparoscopic radical left nephrectomy and chemotherapy. The patient was monitored for follow up for 4 months and had a significant *** treatment of lymphoma is now guided by phenotype of tumor,we found that appropriate treatment is possible after radical nephrectomy and assessment of *** lesions may compeletly regress by appropriate *** was not any report of laparoscopic surgery of PRL in our *** are reporting the first case of successful laparoscopic surgery of PRL successfully.

Effects of Boiled Dill Seed on Anxiety During Labor: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective:To evaluate the effect of boiled dill seed(Anethum graveolens)on anxiety during childbirth compared with ***:This study was a randomized controlled trial with 100 pregnant women who were assigned to the oxytocin(50 cases)and the boiled dill seed(50 cases)group by a table of random *** the boiled dill seed group,10 g of dill seed was boiled in 100 mL for 10 min and was given to women after filtration once orally at the beginning of active *** the oxytocin group,10 IU of oxytoci n in 1000 mL of Rin ger soluti on was prescribed accordi ng to the clinical routi *** State-Trait An xiety Inventory(STAI)in both groups before(at the beginning of the active phase)and after(6 h after the delivery)was ***,pain intensity and duration of labor,dilatation and effacement scores,Apgar score of newborns,and FHR were measured and ***:No statistically significant differences were shown in obvious anxiety scores between the two groups at baseline(P>0.05).After the delivery,in the boiled dill seed group,the number of women with severe[0 vs.8.0%(4/50)]and almost severe[0 vs.14.0%(7/50)]trait and almost severe[0 vs.14.0%(7/50)]state anxiety was lower than those in the control group(P=0.050,P=0.041,respectively).Moreover,labor was shorter in the 1st(P<0.01),2nd(P=0.78)and 3rd(P=0.10)stages in the boiled dill seed group compared to the control ***:Dill seed could be used as an effective treatment to reduce anxiety during *** seed can be effective in reducing the length of *** to lack of maternal and fetal complications,the boiled dill seed could also be used to reduce cesarean section rates in women who are fearful and anxious of delivery.(RCT Code:IRCT201607177065N2).

Relationship study between platelet count and stage and grade of renal cell carcinoma in indoor patients

Objective:To identify the pathogenic gene of Panton-Valentine leukocidin in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain isolated from clinical specimens of burn patients in Shaheed Zare Burn ***:A total of 104 samples of Staphylococcus were collected and 78 aureus samples were isolated from Zare Hospital patients from November 2016 to July *** isolates were identified using a standard biochemical and laboratory methodology in accordance with CLSI principles,and disk agar diffusion antibiogram were performed to identify methicillin resistant *** the presence of the Panton-Valentine leukocidin gene was tested by ***:Of the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus samples,80%were negative for the Panton-Valentine leukocidin gene,and only 20%of the samples had Panton-Valentine leukocidin *** and female patients showed no significant difference in the positivity rate of Panton-Valentine leukocidin gene(16.12%vs.33.33%)(P=0.25).Besides,there was no significant difference in bacterial resistance or susceptibility to antibiotics between samples with or without the Panton-Valentine leukocidin ***:In recent years,increased resistance has been a serious *** resistance or susceptibility of Staphylococcus aureus strains to different antibiotics is different in different geographical locations.
