Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage(SAGD)as a successful enhanced oil recovery(EOR)process has been applied to extract heavy and extra heavy *** amount of global heavy oil resources exists in carbonate reservoirs which are mostly naturally fractured *** clastic reservoirs,few studies were carried out to determine the performance of SAGD in carbonate *** though SAGD is a highly promising technique,several uncertainties and unanswered questions still exist and they should be clarified for expansion of SAGD methods to world wide applications especially in naturally fractured *** this communication,the effects of some operational and reservoir parameters on SAGD processes were investigated in a naturally fractured reservoir with oil wet rock using CMG-STARS thermal *** purpose of this study was to investigate the role of fracture properties including fracture orientation,fracture spacing and fracture permeability on the SAGD performance in naturally fractured ***,one operational parameter was also studied;one new well configuration,staggered well pair was *** indicated that fracture orientation influences steam expansion and oil production from the horizontal well *** was also found that horizontal fractures have unfavorable effects on oil production,while vertical fractures increase the production rate for the horizontal ***,an increase in fracture spacing results in more oil production,because in higher fracture spacing model,steam will have more time to diffuse into matrices and heat up the entire ***,an increase in fracture permeability results in process enhancement and ultimate recovery ***,diagonal change in the location of injection wells(staggered model)increases the recovery efficiency in long-term production plan.

Cyanoacrylate adhesive and its composites have been widely used in industry and dentistry. According to literature survey done by the authors, there are few papers concentrated on role of nano-sized particles on wear behavior of cyanoacrylate glue. Thus the main goal of current research focused on clarifying the role of nano-sized SiO2 on wear behavior of cyanoacrylate. Pin-on-disk wear test, SEM imaging and microhardness test was utilized to investigate wear performance of cyanoacrylate and its nanocomposites with SiO2. The results indicated that SiO2 nano powders can reduce wear rate of cyanoacrylate and change its wear mechanism. It was also shown that surface hardness of cyanoacrylate is increased by addition of nano-sized SiO2.

Juniperus species （juniper） are resistant to drought and have medicinal properties. In order to investigatethe condition of juniper reproduction and prevent a decline in its area, largely caused by problems in natural regeneration, the asexual reproduction of juniper has received special attention besides its sexual propagation. Among the six species of juniper in Iran, the most abundant are Juniperus polycarpos and J. excelsa. Juniperus polycarpos is ambi-sexual and J. excelsa unisexual. We show that collecting seeds in September provided for better germination than in November. In sexual propagation 82.0% and in asexual （graft） 47.6% success were achieved. Compared to a mixture of water, lime and hormones, a natural treatment of only water had better results. Diurnal change of temperature increased germination of juniper seeds over a constant temperature. Aphyllous stem cuttings from mature and old trees are less successful in rooting than leafy cuttings of juniper saplings. A treatment with Aaterra significantly reduced the percentage of rooted cuttings and total root length. Aliette, Fongarid, Octave, Benomyl, Delsene M and Maneb fungicides significantly increased the percentage of rooted cuttings but did not affect total root length. Autumn explants formed more calli than spring explants. Successful multiplication was achieved by treating buds with a mixture of 0.7% polyvinyl pyrrolidone （PVP） and 2% sucrose and cultured in a basal MS or WRC medium, with a maximum number of new buds. In consideration of extracted material of juniper species in remedy of infectious, fungus, contagious diseases as well as for drought resistance and longevity of this species in severe arid environmental conditions and various industrial applications, reproduction and seed production by micro propagation and biotechnology are necessary.

The main goal of this research is to investigate the effect of copper on compressive strength of dental amalgam. For this purpose amalgam capsules with two different content of copper were used. Cylindrical samples with diameter to height ratio 1 to 2, were prepared via molding method. To evaluate the role of copper element on compressive strength, com-pression test was done at different strain rates i.e. 0.02, 0.2, 0.4 and 2 min–1. The results and microscopic evaluations showed that an increase in copper content in amalgam caused to eliminate gamma2 phase and leaded to promote compressive strength.

Effect of Timing of Circumcision on Sexual Satisfaction and Function

Objectives: Male circumcision is a commonly-performed surgical procedure in the world. Currently, no consensus exists about the role of the foreskin or the effect circumcision on sexual satisfaction. All previous studies have evaluated the effect of adult circumcision on sexual function. In this study, we responded to “Does circumcision timing have different effects on sexual function?” Methods: Based on circumcision timing (receiving circumcision in less than 18 year olds or older than 18 year olds), the participants were divided into two groups. The following data and measurements were investigated: IIEF-5 score, sexual satisfaction, sexual activity [number of sexual attempt/week] and ability to achieve or maintain an erection. Results: Two hundred and fifty cases including 125 men were investigated in each group. The baseline demographic (age, marital status, education, smoking) was similar in the 2 groups. No statistically significant differences were seen regarding their sexual satisfaction (P = 0.65), sexual activity [number of sexual attempt/week] (P = 0.74), ability to achieve or maintain an erection (P = 0.44), (P = 0.9). The total mean IIEF-5 score was 24.21 +/- 1.94 and 22.23 +/- 1.12 in groups 1 and 2, respectively (p = 0.5). Conclusion: We concluded that the age at which the circumcision is preformed has no effect on the degree of sexual function and satisfaction.

Investigation and Optimization of Sn/Gr Lubricants Effects on Cold Extrudability of Fe-TiC Nanocomposite Using Taguchi Robust Design Method

The present study deals with the effects of both tin (Sn) and graphite (Gr) powders on the cold extrudability of Fe-TiC nanocomposites as lubricant. The production process includes low-energy ball milling, powder metallurgy and cold direct Extrusion. Due to various factors influencing the extrudability of the Fe-TiC nanocomposites, such as milling time, rate of extrusion, type and content of lubricant and etc, Taguchi robust design method of system optimization was used to determine the approximate contribution percent (% ρ) of each factor. In order to investigation of Fe-TiC properties, samples with best quality of extrusion were analyzed by XRD and SEM investigations. The results indicate that, sitting the atomic layers of Sn lubricant between Fe and TiC particles leads to decreasing the friction. In this case sliding the particles on each other is easier and a part of the load is applied on lubricant. The results of extrusion of samples indicate that using 2% Sn admixed and die wall graphite lubrication can improve cold extrudability of Fe-TiC nanocomposites.

Nanostructured LaFeO3 and substituted LaZnxFe1-xO3(x = 0.01,0.05,0.1,0.2,and 0.3) perovskites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto-combustion method and used in the catalytic combustion of *** structures and surface properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction,Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy,BET surface area,and scanning electron *** data revealed that the total insertion of zinc into LaFeO3 takes place when x ≤ ***,ZnO segregation occurs to some extent,especially at x > *** performance of these perovskites was evaluated by toluene *** catalytic activity of the catalysts increased substantially with an increase in zinc *** results can be attributed to the cooperative effect between LaZnxFe1-xO3 and the zinc oxide *** relative concentration of these phases determines their oxygen activation ability and reactivity.

Gd3+-,Pr3+-or Sm3+-doped Co-Zn(Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2 O4)magnetic ferrites(i.e.,Co0.5Zn0.5Gd0.1Fe1.9O4,Co0.5Zn0.5Pr0.1Fe1.9O4 and Co0.5Zn0.5Sm0.1Fe1.9O4)were prepared using a facile sol-gel approach,and the structure,surface morphology and chemical composition of the products were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),UVvisible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRS),photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)*** patterns show the Co-Zn product is composed of cubic spinel phases with few impurities or secondary phases,and the average crystallite sizes of the samples are determined to be approximately^51—80,~99—181,~68—103 and^83—133 *** the coercivity and remnant and saturation magnetizations,evaluated by vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),are found to increase linearly with the incorporation of Gd3+,Pr3+and Sm3+in the product *** CO1-xZnxFe2-yRyO4 photocatalyst sample is found to display a red shift in its absorption,and exhibits outstanding photocatalytic effects in the degradation of MO under ultraviolet(UV)*** is attributed to the reduction of the band gap of cobalt-zinc ferrite due to the presence of rare earth *** in vitro evaluations of the cytotoxic effects of the synthesized nanoparticles were performed on a HeLa cell line.
