A simple and selective method using a column packed with graphene oxide（GO） as a solid phase extractant has been developed for the multi-element preconcentration of Fe（Ⅲ）,Ni（Ⅱ）,Cu（Ⅱ） and Zn（Ⅱ）ions prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometric *** method is based on the sorption of mentioned ions on synthesized GO using 2-（tert-butoxy）-N-（3-carbamothioylphenyl）acetamide as a chelating *** parameters on the extraction and complex formation were *** the optimized conditions（pH 6,flow rate 9 mL/min）,metal ions were retained on the column,then quantitatively eluted by HNO3solution（5 mL,3.0 mol/L）.The preconcentration factor was calculated *** detection limits for the analyte ions of interest were found in the range of 0.11 ng/mL（Ni2＋） to0.63 ng/mL（Cu2＋）.The column packed with GO was adequate for metal ions separation in matrixes containing alkali,alkaline earth,transition and heavy metal ions.

Alborz Mountains host Caspian Hyrcanian forest ecoregion along the northern slopes and forest steppe ecoregion in highlands. Hyrcanian forest covers the southeastern part of Caucasus biodiversity hotspot and is of great biogeographic importance. Altitudinal pattern and correlation between woody species biodiversity （DIV）, forest structure （（stem density （DEN）, mean basal area （MBA） and mean height class （MHC）） and disturbance （DIS） were explored along 2,4oo m altitudinal gradient in Hyrcanian relict forest, Central Alborz Mountains. Vegetation changes from lowland forest （LoF） to mid- altitude forest （MiF） and montane forest （MoF） in this area. The altitudinal gradient was divided into twelve 200 m elevational belts. Point centered quarter method （PCQM） with 96 sampling points and 83 vegetation samples by plot method （PM） were used to record field data. Shannon-Wiener index and Pearson coefficient were used for diversity and correlation analysis. The results showed that DEN decreased linearly, MBA and MHC showed relatively hump shaped and DIS showed a reverse hump shaped pattern of change along altitudinal gradient. Woody species diversity decreased non-steadily from LoF to MoF. Transitional vegetations of Carpinus-Fagus and Fagus-Quercus represented higher diversity of woody taxa compared to adjacent homogenous communities. Significant correlation was observed between altitude and all parameters： DEN with MBA, DIS and DIV; MBA with DIS; MHC with DIS along with DIV; and DIS with DIV at the study area scale. Surprisingly,correlation between studied parameters differed within each vegetation type. Altitude probably acts as a proxy for human and environmental driving forces in this area. Stability of warm and wet condition, season length, soil depth along with forest accessibility probably influences the altitudinal pattern of the studied parameters. In this paper, we investigate the complete moment convergence for dependent linear processes with random coefficients to form Xt =∑j^∞=∞ Aj∈t-j,where {∈n, n ∈ Z} is a sequence of END stochastically dominated random variables and {An,n ∈ Z} is a sequence of random varibles. As applications, the convergence rate, Marcinkiewicz-Zvgmund strong law and strong law of large numbers for this linear process are established.

Open globe injuries in geriatric population in Iran: characteristics and outcomes

AIM:To investigate the patterns and outcomes of open globe injuries in the elderly population in ***:In this retrospective cross-sectional chart review,medical records of 248 patients(aged 60 y and more)with the diagnosis of open globe injury from 2006 to 2016 were *** features,type,and mechanism of open globe injury,ocular trauma score(OTS),visual acuity before and after treatment,the zone of injuries,and the associated injuries found at the presentation or thereafter were ***:A total of 248 eyes of 248 patients were *** mean age was 69.2±5.8 y(range:60-90 y).Male/female ratio was about 3:1(187 vs 61).The three most common causes of injury were falling(25.2%),sharp objects(18.9%),and tree branches(13.9%).Penetrating injury accounted for most of the geriatric ocular trauma(50.4%),followed by globe rupture(40.3%),intraocular foreign body(IOFB;7.3%),and perforating injury(2.0%).The median raw OTS for the population was 60.5 and the most common OTS class was *** injuries tend to affect zoneⅠmore than zoneⅡand zoneⅢ.The only predictor of final visual acuity was the class of OTS(P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Geriatric open globe injury should be valued *** most common type of open globe injury in Iran is penetrating injuries but falling remain the main *** OTS class must be considered as an important predictor of final visual acuity.

Knowledge about reservoir fluid properties such as bubble point pressure(Pb)plays a vital role in improving reliability of oil reservoir *** this work,hybrid of swarm intelligence and artificial neural network(ANN)as a robust and effective method was executed to determine the Pb of crude oil *** addition,the exactly precise Pb data samples reported in the literatures were employed to create and validate the PSO-ANN *** prove and depict the reliability of the smart model developed in this study for estimating Pb of crude oils,the conventional approaches were applied on the same data *** on the results generated by PSO-ANN model and other conventional methods and equation of states(EOS),the PSO-ANN model is a reliable and accurate approach for estimating Pb of crude *** is certified by high value of correlation coefficient(R2)and insignificant value of average absolute relative deviation(AARD%)which are obtained from PSO-ANN *** of this study could help reservoir engineers to have better understanding of reservoir fluid behavior in absence of reliable and experimental data samples.
