The Qom Formation is the most important hydrocarbon reservoir target in Central *** Qom platform developed in a back-arc basin during the Oligo-Miocene due to the closing of the Tethyan *** formation consists of a variety of carbonate and non-carbonate facies deposited on a platform ranging from supratidal to basin.A combination of tectonic and eustatic events led to some lateral and vertical facies variations in the study *** third-order depositional sequences and related surfaces were identified regarding vertical facies changes in the studied sections of this Oligo-Miocene *** to all results and data,this succession was initially deposited during the Chattian upon a distally steepened ramp of siliciclastic-carbonate composition,including the Bouma ***,from the late Chattian to the Aquitanian,the platform changed into a homoclinal carbonate ramp with a gentle *** respect to tectonic activity,this phase was a calm period during the deposition of the Qom ***,a drowned carbonate platform and a rimmed shelf emerged during the Burdigalian,terminated by the continental deposits of the Upper Red *** all geological characteristics,three main tectono-eustatic evolutionary phases have been recognized in the Qom back-arcbasin.

The Sarvak Formation is a carbonate sequence of Late Albian–Early Turonian age in Zagros Basin in *** this investigation,the Sarvak Formation at the Pyun Anticline section(Izeh Zone)has been *** consists of 797 m thick limestone which overlies the Kazhdumi Formation conformably and underlies the Gurpi Formation unconformably at the Pyun Anticline.A very rich fossil association(85 genera and 132 species)characterizes the Pyun *** on the stratigraphic distribution of diagnosed foraminifera,five biozones are established:1,Muricohedbergella-Globigerinelloides *** zone(Late Albian);2,Praealveolina iberica-Chrysalidina gradata interval zone(Early Cenomanian);3,Chrysalidina gradata-Cisalveolina fraasi(fallax)and *** interval zone(Middle Cenomanian);4,***(fallax)and ***-Praetaberina bingistani assemblage zone(Late Cenomanian);5,Nezzazatinella picardi-MangashtiaDicyclina assemblage zone(Early Turonian).Based on the petrographic and sedimentological analyses,some 13 carbonate microfacies were *** investigated microfacies confirm a ramp-type *** microfacies,from distal to proximal environments,consist of:MF1:planktonic foraminifera wackestone-packstone;MF2:Oligostegina planktonic foraminifera wackestone to packstone;MF3:planktonic-benthic foraminifers sponge spicules wackestonepackstone;MF4:rudist floatstone;MF5:rudist rudstone;MF6:bioclast intraclast grainstone;MF7:peloid intraclast grainstone;MF8:benthic foraminifers rudist grainstone-packstone;MF9:peloid bioclast grainstone-packstone;MF10:bioclast(benthic foraminifers)wackestone-packstone;MF11:peloid bioclast packstone;MF12:dacycladacea benthic foraminifera packstone-wackestone;MF13:miliolids wackestone-packstone.

Sand production is considered as one of the significant production issues that significantly reduce wellbore *** process of sand or solids production in production operations is one of the crucial operational inefficiencies that can lead to wells ***,the drilling mud might erupt through the ***,it is essential to properly determine what types of solids or sand are produced to correctly predict efficient sand control *** paper aimed to compare different sand production control mechanisms and how to control or minimize sand ***,we consider injection pressure and sand moisture on the sand production *** to this study’s findings,pressure injection and moisture increase had caused sand production increase,which should be considered in operational ***,chemical injection such as resin and hydrogel injection usually has efficient sand production control *** expandable sand screen is an expandable three-layer component that is driven into the well and expanded.

地质分层是石油工程中的一项重要的基础工作。叠后地震数据和测井数据的时间序列能反映地下分层。由于地层的非均质性和不同成因特性,它们表现出具有复杂模式的多重分形特性。在多重分形结构中,序列中的任何部分都具有不同的赫斯特(Hurst)指数,可反映其性质,并可用于分区检测。时间序列是井眼附近的叠后地震道和测井数据。自相似自回归外生(SAE)模型是一种改进的方法,它可以将自相似的叠后地震和测井段置于具有相同岩性的地层之间,这样就可以通过SAE模型对地震数据进行分层识别。

The Nuée Ardentes of Sabalan Volcano in Iran

This article deals with the introduction and explanation of the two nuéeardentes of “Mue’el Valley” and “Shirvandareh Valley” which are one type of the pyroclastic flows of Sabalan volcano. One of the features of nuéeardente in these two valleys is the presence of large blocks in upstream of valley and the abundance of ash in downstream which it has happened in one stage in Mue’el and in several stages in Shirvandareh Valley. Considering the antiquity of the great Sabalan volcano and numerous changes that have happened during these long years in the region, determining the temperature of nuéeardente was impossible. But what could be mentioned as a sign of high temperature because of nuéeardente is the presence of rust ground mass on piece levels which indicate hot water steam (500°C to 600°C). Also puzzle breakings like those in these rocks should be the result of severe explosion blast and very fast movements of nuéeardente that has broken these rocks instantly. These nuéeardentes are peléan type and they are more or less synchronous, and the main reason could be the huge explosion which happened because of the second caldra’s subsidence. By comparing deposits of the two nuéeardentes of Mue’el Valley and Shirvandareh Valley, it is observed that the extent, thickness, and size of blocks are higher in Shirvandareh than those in Mue’el Valley. Also considering higher levels of pieces’ adherence and hardness of deposits, it can be concluded that the temperature of this complex was higher than that of Mue’el Valley, and in general the power of Shirvandareh’s nuéeardente is more than the Mue’el Valley’s.

The Chargonbad batholite is located in Sirjan and southeast of magmatic zone of Urumieh-Dokhtar. The main volume of this rocks consisted of Granodiorite and Monzogranite, but it’s also consists of Quartzdiorite, Tonalite and Syenogranite. They have allotrimorphic granular texture with subordinate porphyritic texture. Their enclaves consist of: xenoliths enclaves, microgranular mafic enclaves (Diorite to Quartzdiorite in composition) and autolite enclaves (Tonalite, granodiorite and monzogranite in composition). The Chargonbad batholite rocks are also cut by different types of dykes which are mainly consisted of dykes and veins of pegmatic stage, microgranular dykes (andesit and andesit basaltic in composition) and microgranular dykes that are similar to mafic enclaves. Evidence shows that regional examples represent properties of granitoids type I. As well as, Granite of Granitoid body of this area has magnesium nature and shows the cordellarian granites features. Based on the tectonomagmatic environment determination diagrams, all samples from the Chahargonbad study area located in the arc island setting due to subduction and show the characteristic of active continental margin setting.

The KoheSiah Volcanoes are located in the North of Qorveh city in the west of Iran. The KoheSiah volcanoes include several craters bearing domes located in the Kordestan Province, between latitudes 35°23'13.54” to 35°21'26.63”N and longitudes 47°54'38.26”E to 47°56'01.42”E. Based on the petrographic and geochemical analysis, the volcanic rocks in the KoheSiah area are classified as basalt, Alkali basalt, trachy-andesites and mugearite. The studied samples are alkaline with sodic to potasic feature based on Na2O/K2O ratios and belonging to Shoshonite series. Most of the alkaline volcanic rocks in the study area fall in the field of within in plate basalts (WPB) and represent of a mantle metasomatism trend associated with variable degrees in the partial melting of an enriched mantle source.
