The conversion of solar energy to produce clean hydrogen fuel through water splitting is an emerging strategy for efficiently storing solar energy in the form of solar *** aligns with the increasing global demand for the development of an ideal energy alternative to fossil fuels that does not emit greenhouse ***(EC) and photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting technologies have garnered significant attention worldwide for advanced hydrogen solar fuel production in recent *** achieve sustainable green H_(2) production,it is essential to create efficient catalyst materials that are low-cost and can replace expensive noble metal-based *** characteristics make them an ideal catalyst material for the ***-dimensional MXenes with M_(n+1)X_(n) structure have been identified as a promising option for EC and PEC water splitting due to their superior hydrophilicity,metal-like conductivity,large surface area,and adjustable surface ***,we present a summary of recent advancements in the synthesis and performance enhancement methods for MXene hybrid materials in hydrogen production through EC and PEC water ***,we examine the challenges and insights associated with the rational design of MXene-based hybrid materials to facilitate efficient water splitting for sustainable solar fuel production.

Atomic layer infiltration technology allows the formation of a nanometer-thick polymer-inorganic hybrid barrier layer in polymer material for flexible organic light-emitting diode(OLED)*** this study,according to transmission electron microscopy and secondary-ion mass spectrometry analysis results under various process conditions,a compact polymer-inorganic hybrid nanolayer was successfully formed in a polymer and good barrier performance was revealed with a low water vapor transmission rate under optimal process ***,through gas chromatography-mass spectrometry measurements after ultra-violet radiation testing,polymer out-gassing decreased compared to bare *** on barrier properties,the polymer with a polymer-inorganic hybrid barrier nanolayer was applied to a flexible OLED display as a *** storage tests and folding tests,the flexible OLED display exhibits good reliability and better flexibility compared to those with an inorganic barrier *** results confirm that the polymer-inorganic hybrid nanolayer is suitable for barrier layer formation in flexible OLED displays.

Aim:Therapy to overcome drug resistance by modulating epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)is a viable approach to suppress the proliferation of human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cells.A previous study demonstrated that the seeds of an aqueous Brucea javanica(BJ)(L.)Merr(Simaroubaceae)extract containing quassinoid mixtures effectively inhibited the growth and alleviated tumorigenesis in H1975 cells of NSCLC by targeting T790M/L858R *** study aimed to further determine whether the aqueous BJ extract affects the enriched H1975 spheroids in suspension culture and mouse xenograft tumor ***:The spheroids of NSCLC adenocarcinoma H1975 cells were enriched in a serum-free *** growth rate of sphere propagation by aqueous BJ extract was determined in suspended culture and in colony-formation *** extract was fed orally to nude mice bearing xenograft *** resected tumors were analyzed by hematoxylin and eosin staining,terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling assay,and proliferating cell nuclear antigen *** markers were used to determine the pluripotency of tumors from mice treated with different concentrations of BJ ***:BJ extract was demonstrated to be effective against the propagation of the enriched *** animal models,oral administration of the aqueous BJ extract reduced spheroid *** alleviated growth of the established xenograft tumors can be attributed to the reduced drug resistance and induced apoptosis without distinct adverse *** evidence supports activated apoptotic death attenuated spheroid stemness of ***:As an effective treatment regime to assuage lung cancer,the indigenous BJ extract promises to obliterate drug resistance and the growth of cancer stem cell tumors from NSCLC cells harboring T790M/L858R EGFR.

This study explores the impact of introducing vacancy in the transition metal layer of rationally designed Na_(0.6)[Ni_(0.3)Ru_(0.3)Mn_(0.4)]O_(2)(NRM)cathode *** incorporation of Ru,Ni,and vacancy enhances the structural stability during extensive cycling,increases the operation voltage,and induces a capacity increase while also activating oxygen redox,respectively,in Na_(0.7)[Ni_(0.2)V_(Ni0.1)Ru_(0.3)Mn_(0.4)]O_(2)(V-NRM)*** analytical techniques including transmission electron microscopy,X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy,operando X-ray diffraction,and operando differential electrochemical mass spectrometry are employed to assess changes in the average oxidation states and structural *** results demonstrate that V-NRM exhibits higher capacity than NRM and maintains a moderate capacity retention of 81%after 100 ***,the formation of additional lone-pair electrons in the O 2p orbital enables V-NRM to utilize more capacity from the oxygen redox validated by density functional calculation,leading to a widened dominance of the OP4 phase without releasing O_(2) *** findings offer valuable insights for the design of advanced high-capacity cathode materials with improved performance and sustainability in sodium-ion batteries.

Heteroatom-doped transition metal oxides have attracted great attention as advanced anode materials for lithium-ion batteries due to their high theoretical capacity and superior ***,the limited resource availability has led to a substantial rise in prices for valuable metals such as Ni and Co,posing a significant challenge for their *** address this issue,recycling of these metals from waste materials have gained prominence,and particularly the recovery of Co has been mostly focused on its economic ***,we introduced a novel recycling strategy for fabrication of heteroatomdoped CoOx（comprising mainly Co3O4with a minor CoO phase） anode with a yolk–shell structure for lithium-ion batteries,by separating Co from cemented tungsten carbide *** employing a simple leaching process and subsequent spray pyrolysis,the yolk–shell structured microsphere comprising CoOxwas successfully ***,the presence of other waste metals in the leachate facilitated multi-heteroatom doping during ***,the introduction of various dopants into CoOxinduced oxygen vacancy formation,thereby enhancing the electrochemical properties of the *** a result,compared with the phase-pure （undoped） CoOxyolk–shell,the heteroatom-doped CoOxyolk–shell exhibited robust cycling stability (602 mAh·g-1for 200 cycles at 1 A·g-1) and excellent rate capability(210 mAh·g-1at 10 A·g-1).
