Thick cathodes can overcome the low capacity issues,which mostly hamper the performance of the conventional active cathode materials,used in rechargeable Li ***,the typical slurry-based method induces cracking and flaking during the fabrication of thick *** addition,a significant increase in the charge-transfer resistance and local cur-rent overload results in poor rate capabilities and cycling stabilities,thereby limiting electrode *** this study,a synergistic dual-network combination strategy based on a conductive nanofibrillar network(CNN)and a nano-bridging amor-phous polyhydroxyalkanoate(aPHA)binder is used to demonstrate the feasibility of constructing a high-performance thick *** CNN and aPHA dual network facilitates the fabrication of a thick cathode(≥250μm thickness and≥90 wt%active cathode material)by a mass-producible slurry *** thick cathode exhibited a high rate capability and excel-lent cycling *** addition,the thick cathode and thin Li metal anode pair(Li//t-NCM)exhibited an optimal energy performance,affording high-performance Li metal batteries with a high areal energy of~25.3 mW h cm^(-2),a high volumetric power density of~1720 W L^(-1),and an outstanding specific energy of~470 W h kg^(-1)at only 6 mA h cm^(-2).

Background There were limited data comparing the major clinical outcomes between first-generation （1G）-drug eluting stentts （DES） and second-generation （2G）-DES in patients with acute myocardial infarction （AMI） after percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） during very long follow-up periods. We thought to investigate the comparative efficacy and safety of 2G-DES compared with 1G-DES in AMI patients during 5-year follow-up periods. Method A total of 1016 eligible AMI patients who underwent PCI with 1G-DES [paclitaxel-, sirolimus-, 1G-zotarolimus-eluting stent （endeavor~ or endeavor sprintS）, n = 554] or 2G-DES [2G-zotarolimus （endeavor resolute~）- or everolimus-eluting stent, n = 462] were enrolled. The primary endpoint was the occurrence of major adverse cardiac events （MACE） defined as total death, non-fatal myocardial infarction （MI）, target lesion revascularization （TLR）, target vessel revascularization （TVR）, non-target vessel revascularization （Non-TVR） and the secondary endpoint was stem thrombosis （ST） at 5 years. Results Two propensity score-ma- tched （PSM） groups （232 pairs, n = 464, C-statistic = 0.802） were generated. During the 5-year follow-up period, the cumulative incidence of TLR [hazard ratio （HR）： 3.133; 95% confidence interval （CI）： 1.539-6.376; P = 0.002], TVR （HR： 3.144; 95% CI： 1.59645.192; P = 0.001） and total revascularization rate （FIR： 1.874; 95% CI： 1.086-3.140; P = 0.023） were significantly higher in 1G-DES compared with 2G-DES after PSM. However, the incidence of total death, non-fatal MI and ST were similar between the two groups. Conclusion In this single-center and all-comers registry, 2G-DES＇s superiorities for TLR, TVP, and total revascularization in AMI patients suggested during 5-year clinical follow-up periods.

We evaluated whether lim-kinase 2 inhibitor （limK2i） could improve erectile function by suppressing corporal fibrosis through the normalization of the Rho-associated coiled-coil protein kinase 1 （ROCK1）/limK2/Cofilin pathway in a rat model of cavernous nerve crush injury （CNCl）. Sixty 11-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided equally into five groups： sham surgery （S）, CNCl （I）, and CNCl treated with low-dose （L）, medium-dose （M）, and high-dose （H） limK2i. The L, M, and H groups were treated with a daily intraperitoneal injection of limK2i （2.5, 5.0, and 10.0 mg kg-1 body weight, respectively） for 1 week after surgery. The erectile response was assessed using electrostimulation at 1 week, postoperatively. Penile tissues were processed for Masson＇s trichrome staining, double immunofluorescence, and Western blot assay. Erectile responses in the H group improved compared with the I group, while the M group showed only partial improvement. A significantly decreased smooth muscle/collagen ratio and an increased content of fibroblasts positive for phospho-/IMK2 were noted in the I group. The M and H groups revealed significant improvements in histological alterations and the dysregulated limK2/Cofilin pathway, except for limK2 phosphorylation in the M group. The inhibition of limK2 did not affect the ROCK1 protein expression. The content of fibroblasts positive for phospho-limK2 in the H group returned to the level found in the S group, whereas it did not in the M group. However, the L group did not exhibit such improvements. Our data suggest that the inhibition of limK2, particularly with administration of 10.0 mg kg^-1 body weight limK2i, can improve corporal fibrosis and erectile function by normalizing the limK2/Cofilin pathway.

BACKGROUND For the treatment of gastritis,rebamipide,a mucoprotective agent,and nizatidine,a gastric acid suppressant,are commonly employed *** To compare the efficacy of Mucotra®SR(rebamipide 150 mg)and Axid®(nizatidine 150 mg)combination therapy with the sole administration of Axid®in managing erosive *** A total of 260 patients diagnosed with endoscopically confirmed erosive gastritis were enrolled in this open-label,multicenter,randomized,phase 4 clinical trial,allocating them into two groups:Rebamipide/nizatidine combination twice daily vs nizatidine twice daily for 2 *** full-analysis set analysis encompassed 239 patients(rebamipide/nizatidine,n=121;nizatidine,n=118),while the per-protocol analysis included 218 patients(n=110 vs 108).Post-treatment assessments comprised primary(erosion improvement rate)and secondary(erosion and edema cure rates,erythema improvement rates,hemorrhage,and gastrointestinal symptoms)***,drug-related adverse effects were *** Primary efficacy assessment showed a statistically significant improvement rate in mucosal erosions in the combination group compared to the control group in the full-analysis set(rebamipide/nizatidine 62.0%,nizatidine 49.2%,P=0.046),with a similar trend noted in the per-protocol analysis(62.7%vs 50.0%,P=0.058).Both groups were effective in curing erosion and edema and improvement of bleeding,erythema,and gastrointestinal symptoms,whereas no inter-group differences were *** confined to the participants with gastritis symptoms,improvement of erosion was more optimal in the combination group(63.0%vs 49.5%,P=0.046).No adverse events related to the drugs were *** Rebamipide/nizatidine combination is effective in treatment of erosive gastritis.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effects of a trunk exercise program on the gait and muscle activity in stroke patients. The participants of this pilot study included six hemiplegic stroke patients. The outcomes were surface electromyography (sEMG) and spatiotemporal gait parameters. In analysis of sEMG, no statistically difference was found between pre- and post-training of Maximal Voluntary Isometric Contraction (MVIC) in rectus abdominis and external abdominal oblique muscle, but it tended to increase. However, the gait parameter significantly increased in walking speed, walking cycle, and affected stride length in stroke patients. These results suggest that the trunk exercise program may in part improve the gait of chronic stroke patients.
