Presently,there are over 500 cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide and more than 19,700 different *** the fact that cryptocurrency trading is possible via private peer-to-peer transactions,more than 90%of trading occurs on organised exchanges,which provide convenience and ***,centralised cryptocurrency exchanges are regarded as high-value targets by criminals and are often victims of *** this paper,we investigate the risk of cryptocurrency exchange closures and develop predictive models to forecast which markets will close down and which ones will remain active using publicly available *** models perform well and reach a high level of classification *** trading volume,the availability of public information on exchange staff,exchange lifetime,and several cybersecurity features are identified as key attributes in predicting exchange ***,our models do not account for all sources of risk,e.g.,potential fraud and mismanagement of client funds committed by the exchanges themselves,and market participants are encouraged to carefully consider where and how they store their digital assets.

Background: In patients with breast cancer after Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (NAC), pathological Complete Response (pCR) was associated with better long-term outcomes. We here attempted to predict pCR using machine learning. Patients and Methods: From 2008 to 2017, 1308 breast cancer patients underwent NAC before surgery, of whom 377 patients underwent Cancer SCANTM for gene data. Of 377, 238 were analyzed here, with 139 excluded due to incomplete medical data. Results: The pCR (-) vs. (+) group had 200 vs. 38 patients. In our predictive model with gene data, the Area Under the Curve (AUC) of the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve was 0.909 and accuracy was 0.875. In another model without gene data, the AUC of ROC curve was 0.743 and accuracy was 0.800. The larger ionic radius of potassium ions than that of lithium ions significantly limits the accomplishment of rapid diffusion kinetics in graphite electrodes for potassium-ion batteries （PIBs）,resulting in comparatively poor rate performance and cycle ***,we report a high-rate performance and cycling stability amorphous carbon electrode achieved through nitrogen and phosphorous *** as-prepared N,P co-doped carbon electrodes have distinct 3D structures with large surface areas,hierarchical pore architectures,and increased interlayer spaces resulting from the direct pyrolysis of supramolecular self-assembled aggregates without *** obtained electrode N3P1 exhibits a reversible specific capacity of 258 m ah·g-1at a current density of 0.1A·g-1and a good long-term cycle performance (96.1%capacity retention after 800 cycles at 0.5 A·g-1).Kinetic investigations show that the N3P1 electrode with the welldeveloped porous structure and large number of surface defects exhibits capacitive-driven behavior at all scan rates,which may be attributed by N and P ***-situ transmission electron microscopy analyses in the fully discharged and charged states demonstrate structural stability and reversibility owing to the expanded interlayer *** suggested synthesis approach is simple and effective for producing heteroatom-doped carbon materials for PIBs and other advanced electrochemical energy storage materials.

Here,CuO nanorods fabricated via pulsed laser ablation in liquids were decorated with Ir,Pd,and Ru NPs(loading~7 wt%) through pulsed laser irradiation in the liquids *** resulting NPs-decorated CuO nanorods were characterized spectroscopically and employed as multifunctional electrocatalysts in OER,HER,and the furfural oxidation reactions(FOR).Ir-CuO nanorods afford the lowest overpotential of~345 mV(HER) and 414 mV(OER) at 10 mA cm^(-2),provide the highest 2-furoic acid yield(~10.85 mM) with 64.9% selectivity,and the best Faradaic efficiency~72.7% in 2 h of FOR at 1.58 V(***).In situ electrochemical-Raman analysis of the Ir-CuO detects the formation of the crucial intermediates,such as Cu(Ⅲ)-oxide,Cu(OH)_(2),and Ir_x(OH)_y,on the electrode-electrolyte surface,which act as a promoter for HER and *** Ir-CuO ‖ Ir-CuO in a coupled HER and FOR-electrolyzer operates at~200 mV lower voltage,compared with the conventional electrolyzer and embodies the dual advantage of energy-saving H_(2) and 2-furoic acid production.

Dear Editor,Ocular toxoplasmosis,caused by Toxoplasma gondii infection,is one of the most common causes of posterior uveitis worldwide[1].It typically manifests as white focal retinitis with overlying vitreous inflammation that results in a chorioretinal scar and associated scotoma[2].However,the diagnosis of ocular toxoplasmosis can be challenging when it presents as an isolated papillitis without other typical signs of retinochoroiditis or vitritis[2].Although optic nerve involvement in ocular toxoplasmosis was present in 5.3%of cases,isolated papillitis was extremely rare(3 eyes out of 926 patients)and was only considered a presumed diagnosis in such cases given the presence of old toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis lesions[3].Few reports have described optic nerve involvement preceding toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis,while perineuritis,an uncommon form of orbital inflammatory disease involving the optic nerve sheath,has not been reported at all[4-5].Herein,we describe a case of ocular toxoplasmosis that initially presented with optic perineuritis followed by typical retinochoroidal *** our knowledge,this is the first case report of ocular toxoplasmosis with perineuritis in an immunocompetent individual.

Two-dimensional(2D)MXenes are promising as electrode materials for energy storage,owing to their high electronic conductivity and low diffusion ***,similar to most 2D materials,MXene nanosheets easily restack during the electrode preparation,which degrades the electrochemical performance of MXene-based materials.A novel synthetic strategy is proposed for converting MXene into restacking-inhibited three-dimensional(3D)balls coated with iron selenides and *** strategy involves the preparation of Fe_(2)O_(3)@carbon/MXene microspheres via a facile ultrasonic spray pyrolysis and subsequent selenization *** 3D structuring effectively prevents interlayer restacking,increases the surface area,and accelerates ion transport,while maintaining the attractive properties of ***,combining iron selenides and carbon with 3D MXene balls offers many more sites for ion storage and enhances the structural robustness of the composite *** resultant 3D structured microspheres exhibit a high reversible capacity of 410 mah g^(−1) after 200 cycles at 0.1 A g^(−1) in potassium-ion batteries,corresponding to the capacity retention of 97% as calculated based on 100 *** at a high current density of 5.0 A g^(−1),the composite exhibits a discharge capacity of 169 mah g^(−1).

Reactive oxygen species(ROS)are byproducts of cellular metabolism;they play a significant role as secondary messengers in cell *** cells,high concentrations of ROS induce apoptosis,senescence,and contact inhibition,while low concentrations of ROS result in angiogenesis,proliferation,and cytoskeleton ***,controlling ROS generation is an important factor in cell *** designed a chlorin e6(Ce6)-immobilized polyethylene terephthalate(PET)film(Ce6-PET)to produce extracellular ROS under red-light *** application of Ce6-PET films can regulate the generation of ROS by altering the intensity of light-emitting diode *** confirmed that the Ce6-PET film could effectively promote cell growth under irradiation at 500 μW/cm^(2) for 30 min in human umbilical vein endothelial *** also found that the Ce6-PET film is more efficient in generating ROS than a Ce6-incorporated polyurethane film under the same ***6-PET fabrication shows promise for improving the localized delivery of extracellular ROS and regulating ROS formation through the optimization of irradiation intensity.

Decellularization to produce bioscaffolds composed of the extracellular matrix(ECM)uses enzymatic,chemical and physical methods to remove antigens and cellular components from *** decellularization methods depend on the characteristics of tissues,and in particular,tissues with dense,complex structure and abundant lipid content are difficult to completely *** study enables future research on the development of methods and treatments for fabricating bioscaffolds via decellularization of complex and rigid skin tissues,which are not commonly considered for decellularization to date as their structural and functional characteristics could not be preserved after severe *** this study,decellularization of human dermal tissue was done by a combination of both chemical(0.05%trypsin-EDTA,2%SDS and 1%Triton X-100)and physical methods(electroporation and sonication).After decellularization,the content of DNA remaining in the tissue was quantitatively confirmed,and the structural change of the tissue and the retention and distribution of ECM components were evaluated through histological and histochemical analysis,*** of the chemical pretreatment that increase the efficiency of physical stimulation as well as decellularization,and conditions for electroporation and sonication without the use of detergents,unlike the methods performed in previous studies,were established to enable the complete decellularization of the skin *** combinatorial decellularization treatment formed micropores in the lipid bilayers of the skin tissues while removing all cell and cellular residues without affecting the ECM ***,this procedure can be widely used to fabricate bioscaffolds by decellularizing biological tissues with dense and complex structures.
