In the present work it is found that the pyrotechnic composition Vs⁃2 can be initiated with flash lamps IFC⁃500 and ***⁃2 pyrotechnic composition contains 90%of mercury(Ⅱ)5⁃hydrazinotetrazolate perchlorate and 10%of optically trans⁃parent copolymer of 2⁃methyl⁃5⁃vinyltetrazole and methacrylic acid(PVMT).We have found that the flash lamps make it possi⁃ble to initiate combustion of Vs⁃2 composition with its transition to detonation both in cylindrical charges placed in brass caps of 5 mm diameter and 2 mm high,and film charges with 10 mm×80 mm in size and surface weights of 60 mg·cm^(-2)and 90 mg·cm^(-2),showing ignition delay times 10μs and 3μs,*** also measured detonation velocities for Vs⁃2 composition film charges,which were 4375-4505 m·s^(-1)(of the charge being surface mass 60 mg·cm^(-2))and 4221-4281 m·s^(-1)(of the charge be⁃ing surface mass 90 mg·cm^(-2))and their blasting action on the aluminum *** depths of the normal shock wave imprints at the charge⁃barrier interface were 0.6-0.7 mm(for surface mass of the film charges 60 mg·cm^(-2))and 1.2-1.3 mm(for surface mass of the film charges 90 mg·cm^(-2))

BACKGROUND The etiology of pancreatic cancer remains unclear. This limits the possibility of prevention and effective treatment. Hepatitis B virus(HBV) is responsible for the development of different types of cancer, but its role in pancreatic cancer is still being *** To assess the prevalence of previous HBV infection and to identify viral biomarkers in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC) to support the role of the virus in etiology of this *** The data of 130 hepatitis B surface antigen-negative subjects were available for the final analysis,including 60 patients with PDAC confirmed by cytology or histology and 70 sex-and age-matched controls. All the participants were tested for HBV biomarkers in blood [antibody to hepatitis B core antigen(anti-HBc), antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen(anti-HBs) and HBV DNA], and for those with PDAC, biomarkers in resected pancreatic tissues were tested(HBV DNA, HBV pregenomic RNA and covalently closed circular DNA). We performed immunohistochemistry staining of pancreatic tissues for hepatitis B virus X antigen and Ki-67 protein. Non-parametric statistics were used for the *** Anti-HBc was detected in 18/60(30%) patients with PDAC and in 9/70(13%) participants in the control group(P = 0.029). Accordingly, the odds of PDAC in anti-HBc-positive subjects were higher compared to those with no previous HBV infection(odds ratio: 2.905, 95% confidence interval: 1.191-7.084, standard error 0.455). HBV DNA was detected in 8 cases of PDAC and in 6 of them in the pancreatic tumor tissue samples only(all patients were anti-HBc positive). Blood HBV DNA was negative in all subjects of the control group with positive results of the serum anti-HBc test. Temperature sensitivity of respiration of forest soils is important for its responses to climate warming and for the accurate assessment of soil carbon budget. The sensitivity of temperature (T_(i)) to soil respiration rate (R_(s)), and Q_(10) defined by e^(10(lnRs−lna)/Ti) has been used extensively for indicating the sensitivity of soil respiration. The soil respiration under a larch (Larix gmelinii) forest in the northern Daxing’an Mountains, Northeast China was observed in situ from April to september, 2019 using the dynamic chamber method. Air temperatures (T_(air)), soil surface temperatures (T_(0cm)), soil temperatures at depths of 5 and 10 cm (T_(5cm) and T_(10cm), respectively), and soil-surface water vapor concentrations were monitored at the same time. The results show a significant monthly variability in soil respiration rate in the growing season (April–september). The Q_(10) at the surface and at depths of 5 and 10 cm was estimated at 5.6, 6.3, and 7.2, respectively. The Q_(10@10 cm) over the period of surface soil thawing (Q_(10@10 cm, thaw) = 36.89) were significantly higher than that of the growing season (Q_(10@10 cm, growth )= 3.82). Furthermore, the Rs in the early stage of near-surface soil thawing and in the middle of the growing season is more sensitive to changes in soil temperatures. soil temperature is thus the dominant factor for season variations in soil respiration, but rainfall is the main controller for short-term fluctuations in respiration. Thus, the higher sensitivity of soil respiration to temperature (Q_(10)) is found in the middle part of the growing season. The monthly and seasonal Q_(10) values better reflect the responsiveness of soil respiration to changes in hydrometeorology and ground freeze-thaw processes. This study may help assess the stability of the soil carbon pool and strength of carbon fluxes in the larch forested permafrost regions in the northern Daxing’an Mountains.

Problematic social media use(PsMU)is a behavioral addiction,a specific form of problematic Internet use associated with the uncontrolled use of social *** is typical mostly for modern adolescents and young adults,which are the first generations fully grown up in the era of total digitalization of *** modern biopsychosocial model of the formation of behavioral addictions,postulating the impact of a large number of biological,psychological,and social factors on addictive behavior formation,may be quite applicable to *** this narrative review,we discussed neurobiological risk factors for Internet addiction with a focus on current evidence on the association between PsMU and structural/functional characteristics of the brain and autonomic nervous system,neurochemical correlations,and genetic features.A review of the literature shows that the vast majority of the mentioned neurobiological studies were focused on computer games addiction and generalized Internet addiction(without taking into account the consumed content).Even though a certain number of neuroimaging studies have been conducted for PsMU,there is practically no research on neuropeptide and genetic associations for PsMU to *** fact points to the extremely high relevance of such studies.

Inventory of unintentional POPs emission from anthropogenic sources in Antarctica

In spite of remote location and very limited human activities,Antarctica is affected by persistent organic pollutants(POPs).POPs investigation in Antarctica has a comparatively long history,but there are still large knowledge gaps in assessment of their emission into *** the paper the results of the first inventory of unintentional POPs emission from anthropogenic sources in Antarctica for modern period and preliminary estimate for the late 1980s are *** of dioxin/furans(PCDD/Fs)emission in different media,as well as polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)and hexachlorobenzene(HCB)in air is based on methodology of emission factors and indicators of human *** following sources of POPs emission have been estimated:power generation and heating,waste incineration,mobile sources and open burning of waste(in the past).According to the data obtained,annual PCDD/Fs air emission for modern period comprises 60.74 mg toxic equivalent(TEQ),PCBs-5.09 mg TEQ,and HCB-457.6 *** 2.5 mg TEQ of dioxin/furans is released to residues,so total PCDD/Fs emission is amounted 63.23 mg *** incineration makes the greatest contribution to POPs emission(96% of PCDD/Fs,98%of PCBs and 36% of HCB air emission).In late 1980s open burning of waste was the major source of *** assessment shows that over a 30-year period air emissions of PCDD/Fs decreased about 13 times,PCBs-15 times and HCB-57 times,primarily due to the prohibition of open burning of waste in compliance with the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty requirements.
