感恩教育是高校培养人才的重要组成部分,在通过教育和引导使学生学会感恩,珍惜他人付出的努力和关爱,从而培养积极向上的心态和社会责任感。目前,高校受资助大学生中不同程度地缺乏感恩意识。因此,要优化社会舆论环境,坚持以高校为核心,提升高校感恩教育成效;改进教育方式方法,充分发挥家庭道德教育功能,培养受资助学生对家庭的责任感;知识教育和道德素质培养双管齐下,不断增强受资助大学生对父母、家庭、社会的责任感;不断创新感恩教育的内容和方式,努力改进受资助高校大学生感恩教育环境建设。

Liver transplantation remains the only curative therapy for end-stage liver disease and there is a well-established shortage of transplantable deceased donor organs to meet the growing demand of waitlisted *** liver grafts represent the most common type of so-called extended criteria donor(ECD)grafts aimed at ameliorating this ***,steatotic grafts are associated with increased post-transplant complications and graft failure(1).Hepatic graft steatosis is strongly correlated with the high prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and metabolic(dysfunction)associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)in the general *** and MAFLD are related,but not equivalent,liver disorders that are linked with obesity and diabetes(2).Global prevalence of NAFLD is estimated at~25%and rising(3).Models predict that NAFLD prevalence will increase by 21%to affect 100.9 million persons worldwide by 2030(4).As more donors have NAFLD,the steatotic liver graft will continue to be a challenge for liver ***,promising efforts(e.g.,organ pump with defatting agents)are under way,aimed at expanding the donor pool in the coming ***,we briefly summarize approaches for assessment of hepatic steatosis,describe recipient outcomes associated with the use of steatotic liver grafts,and highlight strategies that may be used to mitigate risk considering the ongoing NAFLD/MAFLD epidemic.

This study was designed to investigate whether Petroselinum crispum(PC)extract has protective effects on the brain in the scopolamine-induced Alzheimer’s disease(AD)rat *** rats were divided into;control,scopolamine(1 mg/kg,i.p.),galantamine(1.5 mg/kg,i.p.)and PC extract(2 g/kg,p.o.)-treated scopolamine *** day 14,the novel object recognition test(NORT)and Morris water maze test(MWMT)were performed and then the rats were ***-induced cognitive impairments observed in the NORT and MWMT,significantly improved with PC extract and galantamine *** reduced M_(1) receptor expression,Bcl-2/Bax ratio,and glutathione levels in the hippocampus and frontal cortex,while malondialdehyde levels,caspase-3/9 expressions,and acetylcholinesterase(AChE)activity were found to be *** the other hand,PC and galantamine treatments reversed these *** conclusion,PC extract has shown an ameliorative effect on the spatial and recognition memory,M_(1) receptor expression,apoptosis,oxidative stress,and increased AChE ***,it was concluded that PC could prevent AD-like conditions and can be used as a functional ***,since animal models do not completely mimic those of humans,based on the data obtained in this study,the importance of PC on human AD should be demonstrated in future studies.

BACKGROUND Acute appendicitis(AAp) is the most frequent cause of acute abdominal pain,and appendectomy is the most frequent emergency procedure that is performed *** coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) pandemic has caused delays in managing diseases requiring emergency approaches such as AAp and *** To compare the demographic,clinical,and histopathological outcomes of patients with AAp who underwent appendectomy during pre-COVID-19 and COVID-19 *** The demographic,clinical,biochemical,and histopathological parameters were evaluated and compared in patients who underwent appendectomy with the presumed diagnosis of AAp in the pre-COVID-19(October 2018-March 2020) and COVID-19(March 2020-July 2021) *** Admissions to our tertiary care hospital for AAp increased 44.8% in the COVID-19 ***-19(n = 154) and COVID-19(n = 223) periods were compared for various parameters,and we found that there were statistically significant differences in terms of variables such as procedures performed on the weekdays or weekends [odds ratio(OR):1.76;P = 0.018],presence of AAp findings on ultrasonography(OR:15.4;P < 0.001),confirmation of AAp in the histopathologic analysis(OR:2.6;P = 0.003),determination of perforation in the appendectomy specimen(OR:2.2;P = 0.004),the diameter of the appendix(P < 0.001),and hospital stay(P = 0.003).There was no statistically significant difference in terms of interval between the initiation of symptoms and admission to the hospital between the pre-COVID-19(median:24 h;interquartile range:34) and COVID-19(median:36 h;interquartile range:60) periods(P = 0.348).The interval between the initiation of symptoms until the hospital admission was significantly longer in patients with perforated AAp regardless of the COVID-19 or pre-COVID-19 status(P < 0.001).CONCLUSION The present study showed that in the COVID-19 period,the ultrasonographic determination rate of AAp,perforation rate of AAp,and duration of hospital

AIM: To investigate the frequency of occult hepatitis B, the clinical course of hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation and reverse seroconversion and associated risk factors in autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients. METHODS: This study was conducted in 90 patients undergoing autologous HSCT. Occult HBV infection was investigated by HBV-DNA analysis prior to transplantation, while HBV serology and liver function tests were screened prior to and serially after transplantation. HBV-related events including reverse seroconversion and reactivation were recorded in all patients. RESULTS: None of the patients had occult HBV prior to transplantation. Six (6.7%) patients were positivefor HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) prior to transplantation and received lamivudine prophylaxis; they did not develop HBV reactivation after transplantation. Clinical HBV infection emerged in three patients after transplantation who had negative HBV-DNA prior to HSCT. Two of these three patients had HBV reactivation while one patient developed acute hepatitis B. Three patients had anti-HBc as the sole hepatitis B-related antibody prior to transplantation, two of whom developed hepatitis B reactivation while none of the patients with antibody to HBV surface antigen (anti-HBs) did so. The 14 anti-HBs-and/or anti-HBc-positive patients among the 90 HSCT recipients experienced either persistent (8 patients) or transient (6 patients) disappearance of anti-HBs and/or anti-HBc. HBsAg seroconversion and clinical hepatitis did not develop in these patients. Female gender and multiple myeloma emerged as risk factors for loss of antibody in regression analysis (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Anti-HBc as the sole HBV marker seems to be a risk factor for reactivation after autologous HSCT. Lamivudine prophylaxis in HbsAg-positive patients continues to be effective.

The transition metal manganese （Mn） is indispensable for photoautotrophic growth since photosystem II （PSII） employs an inorganic Mn4CaOs cluster for water splitting. Here, we show that the Arabidopsis membrane protein CHLOROPLAST MANGANESE TRANSPORTER1 （CMT1） is involved in chloroplast Mn homeostasis. CMT1 is the closest homolog of the previously characterized thylakoid Mn transporter PHOTOSYNTHESIS-AFFECTED MUTANT71 （PAM71）. In contrast to PAM71, CMT1 resides at the chloro- plast envelope and is ubiquitously expressed. Nonetheless, like PAM71, the expression of CMT1 can also alleviate the Mn-sensitive phenotype of yeast mutant qomrl. The cmtl mutant is severely suppressed in growth, chloroplast ultrastructure, and PSII activity owing to a decrease in the amounts of pigments and thylakoid membrane proteins. The importance of CMT1 for chloroplast Mn homeostasis is demonstratedby the significant reduction in chloroplast Mn concentrations in cmtl-1, which exhibited reduced Mn binding in PSII complexes. Moreover, CMT1 expression is downregulated in Mn-surplus conditions. The pam71 cmtl-ldouble mutant resembles the cmtl-f single mutant rather than pare71 in most respects. Taken together, our results suggest that CMT1 mediates Mn2 uptake into the chloroplast stroma, and that CMT1 and PAM71 function sequentially in Mn delivery to PSII across the chloroplast envelope and the thylakoid membrane.

AIM:To evaluate the red cell distribution width(RDW)as an indicator of the presence of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)and its association with fibrotic ***:A retrospective study was carried out that included sixty-two biopsy proven NASH,32 simple steatosis patients and 30 healthy *** correlation between the clinical and histopathological features of NASH patients and RDW values was *** fibrosis scores were measured using a 0 to 4 point scale and were divided in to two groups;fibrosis scores0-1 were termed mild and fibrosis scores 2-4 were termed advanced *** values were compared between NASH,simple steatosis and healthy *** and multivariate analyses were performed to evaluate the independent predicting factors for the presence of liver fibrosis caused by ***:Patients with NASH had higher RDW values compared with simple steatosis and healthy control groups[14.28%±0.25%vs 13.37%±0.12%,12.96%±0.14%(P<0.01),respectively].Patients with advanced fibrosis had higher RDW values than the mild fibrosis group(15.86%±0.4%vs 13.63%±0.67%,P<0.01,respectively).RDW also correlated with fibrotic scores(r=0.579 andP<0.01).The variables that were significant in the univariate analysis were evaluated in multivariate logistic regression analysis,and RDW was an independent predicting factor of NASH(OR=1.75,95%CI:1.129-2.711,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:RDW a new non-invasive marker that can be used to demonstrate the presence of NASH and indicate advanced fibrotic scores.
