The built environment accounts for 40% of the total energy consumption and CO2 emissions in ***,the majority of environmental impacts of properties are generated during the operation phase of the *** energy efficiency through energy management could offer an effective solution to managing the CO2 emissions of a building through its life *** automation systems are linked with energy consuming building systems and with appropriate monitoring and control offer potential for energy efficiency improvements and energy and CO2 *** purpose of this study is to present a simple and effective approach to building energy efficiency by optimizing building processes throughout the operating phase of the *** study describes the function of a remote energy management control center and presents the benefits it can bring for the environment,property owner and property *** study is conducted using case study *** case under review is a remote energy management control center operating under the service portfolio of a global commercial facility services provider.A data sample of the energy consumption of 44 retail properties was *** data collection methods included observation and *** study shows that consumption of electricity can be decreased by 4.85% and heating energy by 6.73%,totaling 2458 ton reduction in CO2 emissions and 695,981 €,via the implementation of a continuous and regular energy monitoring and control of building systems and *** analysis show that the decrease will continue in the future.

We introduce a practical method to perform private membership *** this method,clients are able to test whether an item is in a set controlled by the server without revealing their query item to the *** executing the queries,the content of the server's set remains *** use case for a private membership test is to check whether a file contains any malware by checking its signature against a database of malware samples in a privacy-preserving *** apply the Bloom filter and the Cuckoo filter in the membership test *** order to achieve privacy properties,we present a novel protocol based on some homomorphic encryption *** our protocol,we rearrange the data in the set into N-dimensional *** have implemented our method in a realistic scenario where a client of an anti-malware company wants to privately check whether a hash value of a given file is in the malware database of the *** evaluation shows that our method is feasible for real-world *** also have tested the performance of our protocol for databases of different sizes and data structures with different dimensions:2-dimensional,3-dimensional,and 4-dimensional *** present formulas to estimate the cost of computation and communication in our protocol.
