A Harmonic Approach to Handwriting Style Synthesis Using Deep Learning

The challenging task of handwriting style synthesis requires capturing the individuality and diversity of human *** majority of currently available methods use either a generative adversarial network(GAN)or a recurrent neural network(RNN)to generate new handwriting *** is why these techniques frequently fall short of producing diverse and realistic text pictures,particularly for terms that are not commonly *** resolve that,this research proposes a novel deep learning model that consists of a style encoder and a text generator to synthesize different handwriting *** network excels in generating conditional text by extracting style vectors from a series of style *** model performs admirably on a range of handwriting synthesis tasks,including the production of text that is *** works more effectively than previous approaches by displaying lower values on key Generative Adversarial Network evaluation metrics,such Geometric Score(GS)(3.21×10^(-5))and Fréchet Inception Distance(FID)(8.75),as well as text recognition metrics,like Character Error Rate(CER)and Word Error Rate(WER).A thorough component analysis revealed the steady improvement in image production quality,highlighting the importance of specific handwriting *** fields include digital forensics,creative writing,and document security.

Brassinosteroids enhance salicylic acid-mediated immune responses by inhibiting BIN2 phosphorylation of clade I TGA transcription factors in Arabidopsis

Salicylic acid (SA) plays an important role in plant immune response, including resistance to pathogens and systemic acquired resistance. Two major components, NONEXPRESSOR OF PATHOGENESIS-RELATED GENES (NPRs) and TGACG motif-binding transcription factors (TGAs), are known to mediate SA signaling, which might also be orchestrated by other hormonal and environmental changes. Nevertheless, the molecular and functional interactions between SA signaling components and other cellular signaling pathways remain poorly understood. Here we showed that the steroid plant hormone brassinosteroid (BR) promotes SA responses by inactivating BR-INSENSITIVE 2 (BIN2), which inhibits the redox-sensitive clade I TGAs in Arabidopsis. We found that both BR and the BIN2 inhibitor bikinin synergistically increase SA-mediated physiological responses, such as resistance to Pst DC3000. Our genetic and biochemical analyses indicated that BIN2 functionally interacts with TGA1 and TGA4, but not with other TGAs. We further demonstrated that BIN2 phosphorylates Ser-202 of TGA4, resulting in the suppression of the redox-dependent interaction between TGA4 and NPR1 as well as destabilization of TGA4. Consistently, transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing TGA4-YFP with a S202A mutation displayed enhanced SA responses compared to the wild-type TGA4-YFP plants. Taken together, these results suggest a novel crosstalk mechanism by which BR signaling coordinates the SA responses mediated by redox-sensitive clade I TGAs.

Brassinosteroid （BR） regulates diverse physiological and devel- opmental processes in plants （Choudhary et al., 2012）. BR binds to the receptor kinase BRI1 to trigger a phosphorylation/ dephosphorylation cascade, which includes phosphorylation of Brassinosteroid Signaling kinase 1 （BSK1） and Constitutive Differential Growth 1 （CDG1） by BRI1, phosphorylation of BSU1 by CDG1, and dephosphorylation of BIN2 （a GSK3-1ike kinase） by BSU1 （kim et al., 2009, 2011; Wang et al., 2014）. Almost all the downstream components of BR signaling are encoded by multiple genes of a family.

Terahertz(THz)waves,known as non-ionizing radiation owing to their low photon energies,can actually ionize atoms and molecules when a sufficiently large number of THz photons are concentrated in time and ***,we demonstrate the generation of ionizing,multicycle,15-THz waves emitted from large-area lithium niobate crystals via phase-matched optical rectification of 150-terawatt laser pulses.A complete characterization of the generated THz waves in energy,pulse duration,and focal spot size shows that the field strength can reach up to 260 megavolts per *** particular,a single-shot THz interferometer is employed to measure the THz pulse duration and spectrum with complementary numerical *** intense THz pulses are irradiated onto various solid targets to demonstrate THz-induced tunneling ionization and plasma *** study also discusses the potential of nonperturbative THz-driven ionization in gases,which will open up new opportunities,including nonlinear and relativistic THz physics in plasma.

Dragonfly Interaction Algorithm for Optimization of Queuing Delay in Industrial Wireless Networks

Tracking of horizontal alignment of the long and large diameter uncharged hole in NATM tunnel

The long and large diameter uncharged hole boring(LLB)method is a cut blasting method that minimizes blast-induced vibrations by creating long and large diameter uncharged holes at the excavation face of tunnels prior to tunnel *** in this method typically uses a 50 m long with a 382 mm diameter hammer bit in the horizontal direction at the tunnel ***,the significant weight and uni-directional rotation of the rod head,as well as variables such as geological characteristics,machine conditions,and inexperienced operators result in significant deviation from the target borehole alignment that hinders the vibration-dampening effect of the uncharged ***,since there is no method to verify the alignment of the boreholes until main tunnel construction,borehole misalignment is often not discovered until weeks after construction,which requires tunnel construction to cease until the equipment can be remobilized and an additional borehole be created,causing significant delays and increased costs for the entire tunnel *** this study,the borehole alignment tracking and ground exploration system(BGS)is developed to predict and monitor the quality and alignment of boreholes for cut blasting methods such as the LLB methods immediately after *** BGS was subsequently tested at a subway construction site to evaluate its performance in the *** measurements yielded by the BGS were compared with manually measured boring positions at every 5 m along the *** the BGS showed a maximum deviation of approximately 12%at a local point where the hole surface was relatively rough,the accuracy for the final boring position was approximately 97%,demonstrating excellent precision of the alignment tracking *** BGS demonstrates excellent performance in predicting ground conditions and the boring quality of a cut hole immediately after drilling,and shows promise in various other applications for monitoring borehole alignment.

Background:We examined the comparative associations between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD)definitions with risk of developing chronic kidney disease(CKD)and abnormal ***:We conducted a cohort study of 214,145 Korean adults with normal kidney function at baseline who underwent liver *** were further subdivided into no steatotic liver disease(no-SLD),NAFLD-only,MASLD-only,both NAFLD and MASLD,and SLD not categorized as NAFLD or MASLD *** proportional hazards models were used to analyze the risk of incident CKD and ***:Compared with either the no-NAFLD or no-MASLD groups,the NAFLD and MASLD groups were associated with a higher risk of incident CKD(NAFLD:adjusted hazard ratio(HR),1.18[95%CI,1.01-1.38];MASLD:adjusted HR,1.21[95%CI,1.04-1.39]).Among the five subgroups,both NAFLD and MASLD group had the strongest association with risk of incident CKD(adjusted HR,1.21[95%CI,1.04-1.42]).The MASLD-only group had the strongest association with incident abnormal albuminuria,with an adjusted HR comparable to that of the both NAFLD and MASLD group(adjusted HR 1.96[95%CI,1.44-2.67]for the MASLD-only,and adjusted HR 1.98[95%CI,1.58-2.49]for the both NAFLD and MASLD group versus the no-SLD group).The NAFLD-only group was not independently associated with risk of CKD or abnormal ***:These findings suggest that MASLD definition identifies individuals at high risk of developing incident CKD or abnormal albuminuria better than NAFLD definition.

Neuromorphic hardware equipped with associative learn-ing capabilities presents fascinating applications in the next generation of artificial ***,research into synaptic devices exhibiting complex associative learning behaviors is still ***,an optoelec-tronic memristor based on Ag/TiO_(2) Nanowires:ZnO Quantum dots/FTO was proposed and constructed to emulate the biological associative learning *** implementation of synaptic behaviors,including long and short-term plasticity,and learning-forgetting-relearning behaviors,were achieved in the device through the application of light and electrical *** the optoelectronic co-modulated characteristics,a simulation of neuromorphic computing was conducted,resulting in a handwriting digit recognition accuracy of 88.9%.Furthermore,a 3×7 memristor array was constructed,confirming its application in artificial visual *** importantly,complex biological associative learning behaviors were emulated by mapping the light and electrical stimuli into conditioned and unconditioned stimuli,*** training through associative pairs,reflexes could be triggered solely using light ***-sively,under specific optoelectronic signal applications,the four features of classical conditioning,namely acquisition,extinction,recovery,and generalization,were elegantly *** work provides an optoelectronic memristor with associative behavior capabilities,offering a pathway for advancing brain-machine interfaces,autonomous robots,and machine self-learning in the future.
