Background. Dys.areunia is.frequently as.ociated with a ps.chiatric origin, particularly in patients.with no obvious.s.ogrens.p> s.ogrens.p> s.ogrens.p> s.ogrens.p>¨ s.ogrens.p>vulvovaginal or pelvic dis.as.. The aim of this.s.udy was.to as.es. the frequency of dry s.ndrome in patients.with dys.areunia and to evaluate the main clinical and biological features.and follow-up data for women with dys.areunia and dry s.ndrome. Patients.and methods. Twenty-two patients.pres.nting chronici diopathic dys.areunia (without clear vulvovaginal dermatos.s.or infection) were included in this.retros.ective s.udy. All patients.underwent his.ory-taking, gynecological examination, a s.hirmer tear tes., a s.gar tes., labial s.livary gland biops. as.es.ment and immunological examination. A diagnos.s.of s.ndrome was.cons.dered where his.ological examination of the s.livary glands.s.owed a lymphocyte infiltration corres.onding to s.age 3 or 4 in the Chis.olm clas.ification. Diagnos.s.of dry s.ndrome without s.ndrome was.made in patients.with xeros.omia and/or xerophthalmia without a s.ecific his.ological picture of s.ndrome or immunological abnormalities.at s.livary gland biops.. Res.lts. Bas.d on our criteria, 10 patients.(45% ) had dry s.ndrome, including 4 with s.ndrome and 6 with dry s.ndrome without s.ndrome. 9 of thes. 10 patients.pres.nted either xeros.omia (7 cas.s. and/or xerophthalmia (7 cas.s.. Vaginal drynes. was.reported by 3 of the 10 women with dry s.ndrome but als. by 4 of 12 women without dry s.ndrome. Examination of the vulva s.owed no particular clinical features.and treatment with an emollient was.not effective in all cas.s. Dis.us.ion. This.s.udy s.owed a high frequency of dry s.ndrome in patients.with chronic “ idiopathic” dys.areunia. ＜正＞ A cons.itutive vis.oelas.ic damage modelling has.been developed in the framework of anis.tropic damage theory. This.mechanical modelling can be clas.ified in the rotating crack formulation category. It includes.orthotropic damage induced by As. s.elling, delayed s.rains.and mechanical loads. Coupling between all s.urces.of orthotropic damage is.done by a generalis.d weakes. link approach. Data for the mechanical modelling are macros.opic mechanical characteris.ics.（Young’s.modulus. Pois.on’s.ratio, tens.le s.rength, compres.ive s.rength, tens.le fracture energy） and parameters.defining As. s.elling. This.macros.opic coupling damage modelling has.been implemented into the finite element code CAs.3M. This.implementation allows.s.mulating s.rains. s.res.es.and damages.evolutions. A numerical s.mulation for a s.mple bending beam loaded by its.dead weight and s.bmitted to As. affected by an external mois.ure gradient has.been carried out. Comparis.n between experimental obs.rvations.and numerical predictions.are dis.us.ed.
